I'm in Canada and my local gaming hall only have IGT slots. Can anyone recommend the best paying IGT slots to play ?

The older ones like Cleopatra, or Cleo2 for higher variance. Avoid the 720-way ones like Siberian Storm. Dungeons and Dragons and DaVinci Diamonds for a decent bit of play time. The Star Trek ones are OK too. If they are IGT-H5G newer games they are mostly crap.

Gotten lucky with Kitty Glitter. Not sure if Treasures of Troy is IGT as well (think so) but got lucky on that one too.

AFAIK the Star Trek slots by IGT are online-only as WMS held the land licence.

Cleopatra 2 is my favourite IGT game and you hit the bonus quite frequently. Get a retrigger in that game and it's usually decent. Cleopatra is fun but lower variance. My other favourite is Pharaoh's Fortune - one of the most popular land-based slot games of all time. Again it's quite high variance.

Avoid the Super Stacks games I would: utter shite.

Firehouse Hounds is OK. Ghostbusters is shite. Sex In The City is quite popular. If they have the Fort Knox progressive games bear in mind that lowers the RTP of the base game which is probably already in the low 90's. As a general rule the higher variance the slot, the higher the RTP as most places want you to play those! Diamond Queen is one example but you hit sod all in the base game so it gets bring - it's all about Spins 2 and 3 in the feature (wild reels) but the feature is quite hard to hit!

Many of the above have said Cleopatra which I agree with. I'd also say Pharaohs Fortune and Sushi Yum Yum sounds daft and is annoying music(mute it) but it can give quite a lot of play time if you go on with a decent bankroll.

My personal favourite would have to be Siberian storm, however I stay away from them now because of my love for the rhino and montezuma

If you want to win none of them from land based experience but if your after value the older the better

Yeah I'd agree. For some reason, in my opinion IGT just haven't really been able to match the older games like Cleo, Cleo 2, Wolf Run (& clones), Pharaohs Fortune and even Lobstermania in recent times. And even Cleo was a clone of Aristocrat's Queen Of The Nile. The only "newer" game that stands up to those IMO is Star Trek (the first one) and that's "online only". They're not all bad per se: just not as good or as good as other new slots from other developers.

I think some of it is that they seem to have a different approach to other providers. WMS, Novomatic and Aristocrat tend to produce more volatile games while most IGT slots are a bit tepid and start throwing out "Big Win" animations at 10x. More aimed at the casual player I guess. Go into a land-based casino here and it seems all the Novomatic games fill up before the IGT ones.

Ive had more luck land based with older aristocrat slots than any igt ones.they way igt have them set up is more to fleece the player than to entertain. Ive played a igt machine few thousand times mabye 5% ive won really big 10% decent 15% lasted at least and the rest just chewed of a 50 a min bet in less than 10 mins

Da Vinci diamonds and the new double da vinci diamonds for me. The dual play version isn't as good.

But as others stated....I tend to steer very clear of these slots now....big hits seem harder to achieve, bonuses less frequent than other slots and 'the fun' isn't there. Also annoys me how you have to trigger bonuses.... Like a symbol on rows 2,3,4 or the 1,2,3,4 AND 5 on the h5s dross.
