Might just be a bad run for me but the new skin seems to play differently. A ton of "almost" 5OAK Sarah's without ever landing them, less bonuses, and i've gone somewhere between 2-3k spins and have yet to see a wild desire.

At the same time its not draining my bankroll super fast. It's almost like the RTP is still high but filled with smaller wins to keep you going and less chance of a big win.

Am I the only one?

Definitely, and the other 'character' symbols as well. And on the reel which doesn't hit, there's almost always a scatter, especially if it's reel 3.
Random, my arse

I can echo these findings. The game plays totally differently and seems much tighter. The old version had a scatter appear on reel 1 nearly every other spin, this one hardly ever.

No wild desires either, and no big wins at all, must have played at least 4000 spins.

Gotta say this is a very "light touch" remaster. The developers hardly went for broke, did they. All this does is fix some of the faults of the original HTML5 conversion..

Not only IR, most of MG's slots went bad. If not the tigter RTP , maybe the less "player pressure" made them tight....

The new version is garbage. Played it once, did get a couple of half-decent (over 100x) Amber bonuses.
But I still hate it.

Never saw a WD, but if what pinnit said in post #6 is true, then that's a deal breaker for me.
If I want a WD to play out like a TS2 Shitstorm, then I will play TS2!

The new IR HTML5 version may be slicker looking and play more smoothly.
But as far as I'm concerned, it's not a patch on the original HTML5 version.
Yes, the original HTML5 version was prone to getting a bit jittery, a bit clunky and a bit gimpy in parts.
But at least the damn game could pay good.

I don't care if the game runs with the smoothness of silk, if it pays crap, then it's crap!

Will almost certainly never play IR on HTML5 again. Back to Viper (the original and best).

And don't even get me started on Immortal Creatures. Jesus Christ.
As so-called "sequels" go, that thing is probably worse than Twin Spin Deluxe.

Did I really just say that?

Even more annoying is in the old version the Wild Desire went left and right; this one only goes left to right so if it’s reel 5 you get first; that’s the end. there’s also no anticipation with it; it just stops.

Better than the first HTML5 version but the above is just lazy.

That might be bad but the old version was a mobile version on a desktop browser which made no sense and I found it super infuriating to play. The reels would often lag, then all stop at once. Also there was a noticeable lag whenever two scatters would land with a chance for third.. Meaning if 1-2 scatters land you instantly know there's 0 chance to get bonus if there wasn't any lag beforehand.

And it wasn't a connection issue, it performed like that regardless of where and how I played it. The old OLD non-mobile version was the best.

Considering how rare wild desire is, if the mentioned lag issue is gone (I haven't tried this version yet), I'd say it's better.

The previous HTML5 was just a botched version of the original flash one.

Can anyone confirm that this new one has the same RTP as before?
