Kind of disturbing for the industry I would of thought with so many closing in such a short space of time....?

Just got this, thought this group were huge?

Hi, Jonathan
Thank you for playing at ExpressWins. Sadly, our site will be closing down on the 29th October. This means that deposits are no longer possible on site.

Please ensure that you withdraw any winnings, or use up your remaining account balance, before the site closes as you will not be able to withdraw after this time. If you have any questions, please contact customer support on 01590 !!!!! or email them at !!!!

Thank you for your co-operation.

Kind Regards,
The Express Wins Team

I am not as knowledgeable as most of you guys in this area of online casinos as in who’s who, rules and regs, governing bodies etc. I don’t know what the reason for this outfit closing is but my favourite casino was Thrills and a few weeks back I got an email from them saying I could no longer play there. I went on live chat and asked why and was told we are only allowing German, Swedish and Finnish people. That seemed strange to me to just throw away a huge chunk of your customer base. It is something to do with bank ID that these countries already have in place. When I put this to live chat about abandoning so many customers they said well sometimes you have to take a Chance. Casinos don’t take chances so I just wondered if long term they know something is coming that we as yet don’t know about? Just a thought.

Not surprised about Express wins. Their group of casinos are really struggling in the current climate and is not helped by having: too many white label casinos, one of the worst affiliate programs going and the slowest customer support/withdrawals.

On the bright site, they announced yesterday they are launching planetmillions.com next week :p

Share price for their group:

Hello, snorky510238,

Thank you for your message.

As you might know, we are turning Thrills into a "deposit and play" brand.

Unfortunately, the markets are going to be shut down for every market except Finland, Sweden and Germany. The reason is that these are the only countries Bank ID is viable in at the moment.

We are hoping to get more markets in as soon as possible to get you guys back in action from locations that we used to have.

I hoped this explained it a bit.

I wish you a wonderful weekend.

kind regards,

ThrillsRep

Yes exactly,

Trustly will provide the solution for the verification, ''Trustly passes important KYC data onto the operator, who then creates the player account in the background.''.

This will be linked to your online banking that will together with Trustly sort out the KYC status on the account and this way you will be able to play immediately.

You can check out more from the link below.

Is this going to become standard practice for all casinos eventually?

Similar to the format I suggested to Neteller some 3 years ago when all the regulation started. Thought it might of been innovative for all the kyc to be carried out by them so you did it once and then as long as you used neteller to deposit and withdraw you’d be a “verified” player wherever you played. One company therefore employing a KYC department and negating much of the need for it elsewhere and players not getting pissed off having to repeat again and again the same procedure (as long as they used neteller which would of strengthened the brand)

Look who it is. My old mates Spin Genie as part of the Bear Group. Good riddance to any one at all part of this joke of an organisation. Thieves
