Another great UKGC licensed operator?

And yet here you are posting on forum owned by a business doing exactly that?

I'm not sending it money or doing business though am I. I'll get a VPS in India, get the anonymous registration reverse proxied from the UK and slap a rented PO box address on the site and you'll chuck money at me?

If you can show you have multiple years experience of working in the industry, and have a current license by the UKGC, if everything checks out, then I would give you a go, yeah.
I don't think I know of a casino who have full details available on the domain registration, haven't checked many though, so might be wrong.
Which casinos do you play at?

Kindred, WH and Betvictor are not anonymous registrations AFAIK. I'm talking business in general, not just casino's btw.
I did security for hundreds of websites and I've been on the Internet for almost 30 years, so I do know how it works - cheers.

WH is safenames, so might as well be anonymous as to any info you can get from it.
The details of the directors were easy to find, and they checked out as being legitimate, before they posted on here, I just don't see what the anon registration really does wrong. I mean, would you play there if the domain was registered there with the company name and mail drop address?

Look a bit harder:
Registrant Organisation: WHG (International) Ltd
Registrant Street: 6-1 Waterport Place
Registrant Street:
Registrant City: Waterport
Registrant State/Province:
Registrant Postal Code: GX11 1AA
Registrant Country: GI

A business hiding behind an anonymous registration could've been registered by someone in Nigeria for all you know. That's why it matters.

Right, but the point I'm making is, so could a site registered by a newly formed Ltd Company, created by an off the shelf seller, using shared office space.
Surely the most important thing isn't domain registration details, but details of the actual company running the site?

Yes, and if the site has been registered by the legitimate owner/company it will have the same details on the domain registration. You can anonymously register a domain and have the site traffic reverse proxied to anywhere in the world. Think about that.

I reiterate, I always check any Internet company that I might send money to if I've never heard of them or they're not a high street name.

I know that, and don't disagree, I just don't think it's as important as knowing who's behind the company.
Personally if I were starting a casino, I wouldn't have the details hidden, but it wouldn't stop me make a deposit somewhere, as long as other stuff checked out.

With the domains we own /host we have no personal details public and have not for years. Nothing shady about that at all. Certain company information is displayed on various domains which is some cases is a requirment. And if anyone wants to dig further into a ltd company - very easy to do through companies house. I know many businesses who always have privacy guards on domains. And all are totally legit.

I disagree with you completely. I wouldn't touch any business with a bargepole, that makes anonymous registrations. What have they got to hide?
I guess you feel that exposing one's employees to nutjobs is acceptable since you so fervently disagree with me.

So are you going to quit the forum? You are touching this business with your proverbial barge pole. :D

You could try reading the rest of the thread. I didn't realise that this forum was so aggressive to legitimate concerns, but there you go.

My Sister's company is the same, but then it is consultancy/development and she is not taking money from the general public.

We also take money from the "General public" but we do protect all our whois data and always will. This does not make for a shade business at all but is actually the standard with many online businesses. And when your managing sometimes 100s of domains or Even 1000s trust me you will want to protect the data behind them.

Not from me they don't. If a domain can't tell me who the registered owner is, then they get no money from me. Company and domain matching has got absolutely nothing to do with data protection.
