The streamer know as <snip> discussed today how he would move his operations to Ireland.
He said he would rent an office space and commute 5 days a week alternating with his sidekick <snip>
When he is not in Ireland he would webcam with his sidekick whilst streaming.

The tax implications are unknown and their are ethical questions arising from this, and <snip>

Honestly, I don't see the problem. If anyone believes the streamers are playing with 100% real money, more fool them. And this is the problem with tightening regulations - they're all very easy to get around, and for people who've made a decent income stream, the extra costs associated with relocating or a bit of commuting are going to be worthwhile.

Over-regulation simply moves any perceived problem, it won't make it go away. Better regulation and education would be far better.

There's only one streamer I watch currently - Random Michael on YouTube. Still does insane bets, though his tactic seems to be start with a "low" balance (e.g. 1k) and increase the size of his bonus buys according to his balance/wins. Makes clear throughout that losing does happen. And ultimately - does a 2k bonus buy and wins 2.1k. Yes, it's a big win based on the spin price, but based on the bet cost it's nowt.

And that's how to look at it - big money coming back looks good, but the cost wasn't.

Well if this is the case it exposes the flaw in regulation as affiliates can bypass the LCCP and ASA rules and still recruit UK players as the casinos can lump the UK player recruitment all together with other countries with less strict rules. The only way you solve this would be casino affiliate programmes barring UK players from signing up through certain campaign links or barring that affiliate from recruiting UK altogether. Unfortunately even that is flawed as no doubt the casino would no doubt not turn away UK players, simply not attribute them to that campaign/affiliate so they didn't get paid for them.
Age-gating on YT, required for real-gambling or casino promotion content/streaming would decimate their Google Adsense payments which are thousands a month. If for example Coffee Grounds was forced to age-gate, they would end up with about 5-10% at best of the payments they get now, it would wreck their operation. Yet they still recruit UK players without age-gating, because it's indirectly done.

What are the ethical questions? Loads of people go overseas to work.
Wonder how he will go through KYC checks though as he won't be living there.
He will be unlikely to be able to promote to the UK.
Not sure what Jordan getting someone pregnant has to do with anything though? That seems a pretty personal attack tbh.

He will probably just rent an office to gain legitimacy, then use a vpn into his office from the uk, so as not having to bother to go there .

Remote working is all the rage since covid.. and would probably by legal .

He is targeting UK based players and sidestepping the regulations put into place to protect certain demographics.
He notably stated that ‘I can get rid of Age Gating’

No he can't. It took me 10 minutes last time he said shit like that to stop him, it will take the same again.
To promote to the UK market you MUST have age gating in place wherever you are. If he does, then the casinos he promotes are in breach of the LCCP.

I would recommending re-reading our forum rules:

1.6 - No "Libelous" Posts. Do not make posts that could be considered libelous, defamatory, or posting merely to cause harm to another's business. Opinions are expected, but do not attack others with accusations of criminal activity unless this has been proven in a court of law.
Forum Rules

Freedom of expression is encouraged here - but don't start with the personal attacks. Thank you.

I apologise if I have breached forum rules.

The associate met a fan of the streamers content with whom they now have a child due.

There has been numerous threads on casinomeister linking various marketing activities by this affiliate which have been questioned as to their ethical values.

However I will refrain furthermore.

I don't understand how getting someone pregnant has anything to do with criticisms about someone's business. It's a load of nonsense.

If you have criticisms about someone's business, fine. Just don't bring in personal details that have nothing to do with anything. That is trashy and I'll be damned if this site's integrity suffers from having that sort of garbage posted here.

Reminds me of poker players back when the USA banned online poker, they all wanted to move to Canada mostly, LOL. Some moved to like the Isle of man and other places.

But getting a girl pregnant has nothing at all to do with streaming, or the ethics of it or anything.
I think they are everything thats wring with streaming so hardly sticking up for them, but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed.

Ageed. Closing this thread since it's a load of BS. If you have issues with a business - then voice them. But this personal attack on this guy is not only over the top, it's unacceptable.
