It has become apparent in his latest video that Chipmonkz is moving to Ireland, to bypass upcoming UK Safer gambling rules on Bonus Buys, Auto Spins, Age Gating etc? so he can unlock lost revenue as Ireland has no regulated gambling market?

If he hopes to do the odd stream in Ireland and use remote software to stream from the UK etc?

Surely If he is streaming to the same UK Players and getting them to sign up the UKGC licenced casinos are bound to follow the rules still or do they explicitly not apply to people physically not in the UK. I would of thought the person the casino uses to promote it would not matter were they physically are?

Was he was recently sanctioned after the UKGC sent a note of Concern to the Netkan group he promotes due to him uploading non-age-gated videos for the first few days to boost the views then only applying the age gate later?

If he hopes to get more revenue from loosing players due to the fact there is little regulation in place for example no SOW or KYC needed he can also us the apartment as a holiday home, as flying business class between the two places Wifi would be included for any streams so they could be started on the way over. Very smart way of working it I guess, just don't understand how they can make people or affiliates the UK follow one rule but them outside the UK advertising to the same UK players another rule?

Chipmonkz is my absolute favourite streamer alongside his brilliant companion. He provides streams every day of extremely high quality at realistic stakes in an interesting format. He recommends only the best casinos and has all of the very best exclusive sign up offers.

Did he mention that on stream, or how do you know?

The rules are if you are promoting to the UK market, for UKGC licensed casinos you MUST have age verification. It is MUST not anything else. It doesn't matter if you stream from London, Ireland, China or Australia, if you are targeting UK customers the rules apply.

All these streamers who 'think' they are getting round the rules, aren't. The UKGC are fully aware of them.

However, what most people don't understand is the streamers aren't actually doing anything that can get them into trouble with the UKGC. The rules are aimed at casinos. However, it is also made explicitly clear that the casinos are fully responsible for their affiliates and it will be a breach of their LCCP's if they allow affiliates not to follow the same rules. It is also expected that if they don't follow the rules, it is 'one strike and out' so in other words, affiliate relationships should be terminated immediately.

Any casino that allow youtubers/twitch affiliates to stream/post videos without age gating are just scummy as fuck, as clearly they don't care if kids are watching them. Here's a couple of reps I've alerted recently about this type of thing who haven't terminated relationships. @jacksparks @Dawn_Branders (Playgrand) @Team.Videoslots

Not sure about your last sentence. Are you being sarcastic? He promotes absolute shite.

So If a streamer moves to Ireland they will still have to age gate?
Can you explain this video:
No age gating on it, but has a direct link to his website on it advertising MANY UKGC casinos. Does blanking out the casino logo remove the need for age gating? There is still a LINK to the casino in the video description! Confused!

Yes they still have to age gate if they are promoting to UK customers.
Me explain the video? He thinks the rules don't apply to him. Maybe ask the casinos who are advertising with him why they are happy to breach their LCCP, here I'll tag some
@jacksparks @Team.Videoslots @L&L-Jan @David G @Krystal_EGO
Just to say I have actually alerted a couple of the reps on that list to him not age gating, so them being aware, and not doing anything shows what they are like. I'm not going to actually say which ones though as thats a bit unfair.

How do you know this please? I know you phrased it as a question, but it's a pretty specific guess if you didn't know.

That was said in Hypalynx comments / chat and I did notice for the first day or so none of them were age gated but they all are now as soon as they are uploaded, but yes it was a question as someone else confirmed it

Five out the six reps I tagged have read this thread, but none commented.
The video is now age gated, I can be almost certain which rep got that done.
However, it shows that that affiliate is constantly breaking the rules, and not having accounts shut, this is what should be followed:

A requirement that organic YouTube content produced by an operator and operators’ own YouTube channels must be age-restricted to 18+ to ensure users log in to age-verified accounts in order to view content.

and

61. The Gambling Commission are clear that operators will be held responsible for any marketing carried out by their affiliates. As such, operators are expected to ensure that all relevant Code requirements are also followed by their affiliate marketers.

Compliance with the above is expected to be managed by way of a contractual obligation to comply with a Code of Conduct for the affiliate party.
Operators are expected to terminate relationships with affiliates who cannot/do not comply, preferably on a one strike and you’re out rule.

So, as affiliate managers are meant to be monitoring affiliates closely now, there can be no excuse for not knowing some of their larger affiliates (and it isn't just the one mentioned in this thread) are still not age gating. On top of that I have alerted 3 affiliate managers on here of their affiliates breaking the rules above, as of today, I am almost certain, only one has actually done anything about it. The rules state they should terminate relationships with affiliates on the first breach. This is at least the second, so there is no excuse for you not doing that.

As for going to Ireland to get round the rules, I spoke to the UKGC about that last week, as the casinos are UKGC licensed, the rules still apply, which I knew, but thought I would double check.

A warning to the affiliate managers who don't give a fuck, this is a direct quote from an email from the UKGC from a few days back

The Gambling Commission is aware of and is monitoring the association of gambling-based companies advertising on live streaming platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.

So good luck in the next few years (as we all know thats how long it takes them to do anything) when they get round to giving you multi million £ penalties. Don't start crying when it happens. You were warned.

The whole thing stinks, frankly.
Bypassing UKGC, they should have the book thrown at them by the casinos.

If the UKGC really wants to act in the best interest of the players in the UK, they would ensure all UK facing Casinos drop the likes of Chipmonkz and Hideous like stones.

I really wish viewers of those channels would actually take in the truth behind these moves and stop watching them.
