Am I crazy or do I just have it out for 3Dice?

Yes, I know, I know... another 3Dice thread.

Two things *REALLY* bothered me about 3dice, and I think they are both reasonable.

1. Playing the game Payola (and others I believe) a wild causes a 2x multiplier on the win. During free spins, the wild does not do a 2x multiplier. I don't think that's fair. If a wild causes a 2x multiplier on a win, why should that be taken away for free spins? I do understand freespins also get a multiplier, but still. I'd like to hear others thoughts on this.

2. I won 78 spins on Payola, retriggered a couple times for something near 150 spins. I got to about spin 145 and low and behold the game disconnects. So I had to sit there and replay ALL those spins. Isn't that a little BS? On other casinos the game resumes where it froze or closed out. I've never seen so many connection issues with a casino. Why is this?!

Thanks,
CK

My thoughts (frankly) are that you should check the paytable before you start playing, and if you don't like what you see - don't play it.
The table clearly says: Wilds multiply by x3 in normal spins, but not in free-spins.

I agree - that's totally crap!
But so is the game IMO. I played it a few days ago & got 78 spins too... and 'won' $9.44 off a 40p trigger.
That works out at a return of 12.1c per spin which is worth 80c (40c @ x2)
In other words the return on the free-spins was 15.13%
Sorry 3Dice, but this game sux!
:(

I actually kinda like the game but I do agree with you regarding the RTP percentage...It does suck and bad too, but so does the new one Slotronomicon as far as RTP percentages go and I've played this new one quite a bit and it's supposed to be high variance so that also means as you well know that there should be a hell of a good payout every now and then...but there never is, and there has never been a decent screenshot win posted either as far as I know !!

Sorry I didn't provide a screenie the other day then, but I hardly ever do :)
I hit $130.25 bonus round on 60 cent bet on Slotronomicon (copy/pasted that from your post....what a friggin name anyway...lol)... I'd say that's a fair return.
I have had a (very) few really good hits on Payola as well....but again...I don't do the whole screenie thing :)
I feel like, if you're lucky on the day, they'll both be able to pay really well, but on most days they both suck.

My sentiments exactly!

Robwin, you are right, I was thinking the same thing reading this thread and all the other ones...All I ever hear is that this casinos games got "POTENTIAL"..well, where the duck is that potential???? That one glorious hit that some keep harping on about?? I don't see any screenshots of anyone having that "POTENTIAL"y good hit...

Why not just admit, these game suck out and out..they are vacuums period..and the casino knows this and the players that keep saying what a monster hit it can be is just fooling themselves into continuing to play there..supporting the lousy payouts..So the casino doesn't have to "PROVE" that it is a good game in any shape or form...

I will say this, I do pop in every once in a while still just to "see" if they have tweaked anything to be fairer to the player and they still haven't done a darn thing to any of them except leave them the way they are (Lousy).

High variance = steal the players money (bet $1 and make sure they get back 8 cents)
Med variance= steal the players money (bet $1 and make sure they get back 14 cents)
Low variance= steal the players money (bet $1 and make sure they get back 20 cents!)
I hit $130.25 bonus round on 60 cent bet on Slotronomicon
Hate to say it but that ain't squat, thats a semi decent hit but nothing to brag about for the casino ...still waiting for that HUGE hit everyone keeps talking about that should come soon...for someone...:D

Since this casino seems to keep comming up in the forum, I would like to give my 2 cents about it .. no derailing intended, and I'm sorry if this is considered that.

As I more and more agree, that the payouts in general suck, if I look at it as a casino like all the others, and especially the feeling I get when I play in the casino, of getting sucked (And not in the good way.), is making me think twice before making big deposits there.
To be fair, I think a 217X bet on the slotmachine in question is ok, not overwhelming, and I just gave that, as an example, that the slotmachine CAN actually pay well ... not earthshattering, but ok ... the thing is....it happens way too rarely, if you look at it as a casino like all the others, maybe due to limited playerbase still....the more people playing the more winners....AND losers.
It seems like a good part of the real play is generated by low rolling players, who deposit once in a while, to stay vip, to play the free tournaments.
This is what really makes this casino different from other casinos imo.
My general feeling about the casino, is that once you lost enough...and I'm talking over several sessions, it'll give you a little bit back, to make you feel like it's still possible....I'm beginning to doubt that it is though.
I believe the few big(ish) winners I've seen there, was people who gambled a LOT, and without knowing for sure, I'd be guessing that they left a lot more than they carried out of there.
All of the above, is based on nothing but my gutfeeling, what I've observed there, and my own play, and not actual data and numbers.
I still like the place though, for the atmosphere, and the immediate payouts, the few times I actually get to cashout, and to me it's become more of a recreation place, where if I want to have some fun, and compete with others in the tournaments, I do that, and I'm happy to deposit a little bit once in a while to keep it going, as I think it's a great idea.
I don't play the free tournaments expecting to become a millionaire playing my $10 win in real, actually I think I cashed out once from probably +50 tournament wins...
My bottom line is, that if anyone doesn't agree with the concept, they should play in a more "casino" oriented place....The days when I want to gamble for the "big win", and I have those too, I look for that somewhere else, thanks to 3Dice those days have become fewer, and in the end that probably saved me a truckload of money, and I've still been "gambling" .. or had the feeling I was :)

I may be naive, but I'm not stupid

I like payola, but slotronomicron (agree awkward name) plays so slowly on the freespins, and so frequently pays so little on them, that I suspect not many people play it for long stretches of time.

I remember a 3Dice member hitting over $32K in a tourney on Payola. Max bet is $15.00, so that is a 2133 times win.

Hi CK :)

Ok..i just have to answer this...lol
First of all i do agree with you on the "losing connection-spins starts over" thing..that aint to fun...i had like 8 balls ( retriggers) in the bottom waiting..and if i lost connection in the end of them..there wouldnt have been words enogh for what i wanted to say :)

Sec... high variance ...you know...i dont even gonna say more about that...
Third thing.. if you dont like it..dont play it :) enogh about that too...

Last thing :) Im gonna share a screenie with you just to show that it can pay even on low bets :) i do hope you didnt lose to much on it :)

((((HUGS)))) Trollet

gotta dis -agree with you on this one cindy, even though i have had a love/ hate relationship with 3 dice in the past, i get more bonus money and comps from other casino's than i do from 3 dice, yet i have won more money at 3 dice on smaller deposits , i play at 3 dice as i like the games there, the customer service is outstanding and they pay super fast, if im bored and want to play for free in a tourney, there is always something going on 24/7 , dont need no bones thrown at this ole dog to keep me playing there:D...................laurie
