Is it me or is it extremely difficult to get a 4OAK let alone a 5OAK. The base game is absolutely nasty given NetBent's formula of frequent dry patches and rarity of top paying symbols. And the encounter stage seems like the only way to keep you just barely hanging if your lucky to not get the dreaded two 0 ammo clips in a row. Otherwise if your not getting those multipliers and getting to the bonus stage I'd say to kiss your money goodbye real fast.

did it like described and finally got these 30FS @GUTS just need to download dll file place it to firefox folder, but it is laggy
as hell because it uses CPU instead of graphics card, smaller window + low setting inside game will help a bit

It is kind of obvious here to me, having worked in graphics development before, that Netent is using a 3D hardware acceleration layer that is unsupported on some older machines. It seems very unlikely that they would be able to "fix" that, in the same way as you wouldn't expect a PC game maker to make a modern video game work with low end graphics hardware.

SwiftShader is a (bad) way around this, but it might help some users. I highly doubt that Netent would recommend this officially, though, especially since I think SwiftShader is a product that is sold commercially, and that downloading it CAN be tantamount to pirating software. ( I might be mistaken here)

EDIT: It would be interesting to know what graphics hardware and what PC or Mac platform the users that experience a problem are using. My guess is a very old stationary PC or a fairly old (or cheap) laptop.

What SwiftShader does is to emulate the graphics hardware in software, so that solution can work in some cases. It's very good to be cautious about downloading binary files off sites like that, and even more cautious when you get recommendations to fiddle with your "Program Files"-directory, and this is why any softwre company would never recommend this kind of workaround for a bug.

Please note that I am not suggesting that anyone does this, I am merely trying to explain what the fix suggested by others actually do.

Chrome has recently started to behave poorly with 3D accelerated flash content. This is due to the "Pepper Flash API" they have enabled as default, and it has been causing problems in many types of Flash applications. Changing settings in Chrome can fix this, but if you are fine with playing it in another web browser, that is ofcourse better.

It's not hard to understand at all, and I think it is great that you pointed out a solution. All I am saying is that these types of workarounds can be very shady, both from a security and from a legal point of view, which is additional information that can be helpful to others. Don't you agree?

Unlike other browsers, which run just the generic Flash, Chrome by default runs it's own flash and the generic flash. If it works on other browsers, turning off Chrome's own flash will probably fix it. Not sure why this is the default setting, in my experience running those 2 flashes causes more problems than it helps with, it can cause flash animations to lag or not work at all.


Chrome has 2 flash versions at chrome://plugins/ , Chrome's own PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll and generic Flash Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32_13_0_0_182.dll , having both of them running at the same time can cause issues with flash based slots, disabling PepperFlash and enabling only Macromed\Flash fixed the "Unsupported computer graphics hardware detected" message for me with Chrome.

I have been there with Avalon II so I know what your talking about. Myself and that slot have a like and hate relationship. I still play it because I am always wanting to get to the next level. When I reach the end I feel glorious relief. Had some good wins on it but nothing substantial and I have given it a fair few spins. So right now Avalon II is my nemesis.
Although in fairness I could never become addicted to Aliens. If you remember me and Chopley played half a million spins in test play on DoA and in my case NEVER did a 5k balance reduce to 719 on DoA like it did on Aliens yesterday. The DoA base game plays better than Aliens in my experience so far. Aliens is vile, absolutely awful, like the slot version of Chinese water torture.

Well.... To be honest... The bonus triggers (in my feeling) about 5 times more often than on a regular slot... But i wouldn't say that the bonus pays much worse than on a regular slot. I have many regular bonus rounds (1 in 150 spins) ending with 5-15x bet... And to me it doesn't feel that the bonus on Aliens pays worse... So it is entertaining... And everytime i played a session for more then 2-3 hours i was able to hit at least 1 time 100+ bet. (on a single spin or in a bonus round)

Yes I totally agree here. The number of spins that yield a stack of wilds in all the wrong places is just infuriating. This combined with the fact that a lot of the symbols look very similar (in particular the egg / hatching egg) makes it a very frustrating experience. I know a lot of slots are guilty of throwing in the wilds on losing spins but Aliens seems to do it a lot more often - and thats based on a pretty small sample in my experience.

In direct contradiction to my earlier experience - I actually quite like this slot.

It's entertaining once you get a grip on what is actually happening.

Particularly on the iPad in a darkened room.

There's obviously a lot of thought gone into it that, whilst initially bewildering, actually overall makes for a very clever slot.

Had 57 dead out of 60 spins yeasterday, and those saying its easy to get features your lucky, have really tried to get into this game but its awfull done 40+ features now and only reached the queen 3times and none any good.

You should really reach her more often its just 10x the lowest win, and has anyone seen multiplier on the 3highest aliens in feature? rare to even get 1 on the lowest paying alien symbols.
