Ok this is a strange one. I regularly get emails from hundreds of casinos wanting me to sign up and I enjoy the challenge of wagering through so decided to take an offer from Mybet. 500% bonus up to £50. Ideal for me deposit £10 and see how it goes. On trying to register I have problems and a pop up comes saying do you need help or something like that so I go to live chat and explain. He says ah you are from the UK, we don’t have a UK licence for the sports book, only for the casino. I explain it’s the casino I am interested in. He says ok clear cache and cookies and try again please. I do this and register no problem. This was on Monday evening. I lose my initial £10 so I am playing with £50 bonus money and hit a few bonuses and finish the night on about £270. Play again Tuesday get to £420. Then again Wednesday and I am around £250 when my account is blocked. I contact live chat and he says I sent you an email asking you to verify your account and we also want to know why you registered as living in the United Arab Emirates. I explained as far as I was aware I hadn’t done so (why would I do that). I am 99% certain I didn’t anyway but I used the alphabetical scroll down and that’s the only way it could of happened. I also remembered the original operators name and time of chat which he located. He then says I was told wrongly by that operator and they don’t accept UK players and that he will look into it and email me the outcome. Yesterday I received it and it said because I had registered as residing in the UAE that my winnings had been confiscated and my £10 returned. I am not well educated with terms and conditions and all the regalia that goes with it but I know some of you guys are. Sorry it’s a bit long winded but I need you to know all the details. Any thoughts would be much appreciated thanks.

No idea haw you managed to sign up and play there.

Any page i go to tells me right away Product Unavailable.

Please note that this page is not accessible from the territory where you are due to compliance to local regulations. Your detected location is Glasgow, Scotland, GB

I would suggest that UK wasn’t on their dropdown for the reason specified - they don’t accept UK players.

Take your deposit back and move on to a licenced casino would be my advice buddy.

It was on their list that’s what I don’t get. Why if they don’t accept UK. Also it is in the grey zone here but says UK are accepted.

I was a member of mybet, briefly, and then I got a notification that the casino is no longer available for UK jurisdiction.

They shouldn't have sent you the email in the first place, I think you are due a refund of your deposit, shame about your winnings, though.

Sounds like sharp practice to me, I am sure dunover will be of more help about the technicalities.

Yes if I hadn’t gone to live chat I would of given up there and then it was only when he said they accept UK for the casino and to clear cache and cookies that I thought that had been the problem. If they had staff that knew what their own policies were it wouldn’t have happened. Also laziness on their part for not removing UK from the alphabetical scroll down.

Yes, precisely, I've noticed some pretty unethical behaviour from some of the lesser known casinos, it puts me right off.

To be fair, I played at mybet a couple of times, got lucky and got my money, a bit on the tardy side perhaps, maybe five days to bank, not too bad. :)
