Hi all

this is my first post :), an di need some help

im looking at some casino reviews, and im wondering whats the most important information i need to look out for ?

whats the most important factors when looking for a casino to play at ?

Thanks all

When it comes to reviews on casino sites, a lot of people can be quite lazy and seem to post blurb provided by the casino themselves, or they just copy/paste it from the casino's 'about us' page.

One thing I always look out for is original content with first hand experiences.

Another thing to watch is rogue casino's being reviewed/advertised on the site in question. If they are happy to promote one rogue... what confidence do you have in the other sites reviewed? On the flip side, if they give the rogues the bad reviews they deserve then they are (IMO anyway) a more trustworthy reviewer.

After that, it comes down to personal preferences and what you are actually looking for. Do you want a massive welcome bonus? Do you want no bonus but super fast customer services and withdrawals. Is the country that casino operates in the most important thing? Do you really love live dealer games etc etc.

Hope that helps.

Edit: Oh, and Welcome to Casinomeister :)

Hiya, your've come to the best forum for infor on casinos. I've been using it for years myself, but just recently joined it officially :p

Personally, if I see a casino I want to check out - I go the home page of this forum https://www.casinomeister.com/ and scroll down to this cool little tool under EXTRA called 'Search Casinominister'

I, then type in the name of the casino Im looking for and the past and present threads from members of this forum pop in:cool:

From their experiences you can get a general idea of what the casino is like:thumbsup: However sometimes you cant find anything on the forum about the casino you'll looking for or some peoples posts aren't very informative and leave you just as much in the dark as before.

So I usually just bounce on here and start a thread to see if anyone has had any experience with 'so and so casino' I will then be told by some members, that I should just type the casino name and 'complaints' or 'rogue' into google and I will see if the casino itself is dodgy:rolleyes:

I could I suppose, but much faster just to post it on here:Angel::lolsign:

The good thing about the accredited list on here is that the majority have Casino Reps so if you have any difficulties, you can pm them to try and sort them out :)

All very good answers. I'd add:

Licensing jurisdiction: UK Isle Of Man, Alderney or Gibraltar are generally decent. Malta and Kahnawake are OK. If you see Costa Rica or Netherlands Antilles/Curacao look for other signs.

IanO's idea of looking for player's experiences, be it on a review site or on a forum is one I'd use too.

The Accredited List here at Casinomeister will save you a load of hassle though :)

My advice on bonuses: don't take a signup bonus unless you are prepared to lose your deposit (wagering requirements are ridiculously high usually and often very restrictive on games you can play and your ability to cash out). I never take them then I am free to cash out whenever I want.

Not sure if you are new to this or not but just in case: be aware at some pont you will probably need to email off photo ID and proof of address.

Being UK-based I'd suggest starting with the bookies. Things generally go downhill from there LOL.

Thanks Simmo for the advice on bonuses. You reminded me on how easy it is to forget all the things we needed to learn when we started playing.
I feel a little ashamed to tell you but it took me several month before I understood that I didn't need to use a bonus for every deposit:oops: Everyone only talked about where to find a good, high bonus so that was what I searched for.
Now, I take a bonus maybe in one out of ten deposits:)

lol! I sooo hear you! I never used to take or use bonuses either until I joined up here and because I heard so much about them, I find myself hunting for bonuses all the time now! :lolsign:

Reputation is key. If they have been around for less than a year then you are really taking a risk with your money IMO. I have only been posting here for a few weeks and I have seen countless post of "such and such casino" not paying or having withdrawal issues. You can't go wrong with the accredited list here on CM. Best of luck.
