Address verification

Last year I opened an account at a casino and entered my personal details ie name, address etc. but didnt as yet deposit. A few weeks ago, I started to deposit, played and cashed out a couple of times. They requested verification and I duly complied. After several mail exchanges, they told me that my address was not the one they had in the profile and requested an explanation. Actually, I had earlier written to them stating that I had moved house several months ago and in Hong Kong where I live people frequently move house. I know people who move house 5 or 6 times in a decade so its the norm here. They just wrote to me stating they did not accept my explanation. It would have been simple, as in the case of a bank, to simply request my address to be amended but the casino thinks it has the authority to decide that moving house is not acceptable. The cheek and nerves of these people.

Name and shame chuchu. If you have some mail with your old addess (perhaps old bank statement, or online pdf) as well as ID with current, perhaps they will see reason.
