Hello to any reading this post.

I am new to this forum, and as it has in the title I do in fact run the operations of the binary trading platform GOptions.com.
We had some great users who told us they use this forum and think that perhaps having a presence here would be beneficial, even if just to answer some basic industry related questions, to perhaps answering questions regarding our auto technology through signalindex, or indeed about the platform itself. Obviously this is on the basis that it's Binary betting rather than financial.

Hoping that you will all understand I am simply here to represent and as a resource to use for decent info, lookiing forward to speaking with you all.

The difference between the two is not as great as you think, especially when you are dealing with what are often called "derivatives" rather than the shares themselves.

You can "bet" that in 9 months Microsoft will be under pressure by buying a derivative that would allow you to sell the shares at today's price in 9 months. Someone else would have had the opposite view, and this is how this particular derivative would have been made available. It then boils down to a wager as to who ends up being right. If Microsoft do well, your option to sell the shares is both pointless and worthless, but the money you paid for it has now been "won" by the person who created this derivative. If you are right however, you buy cheap shares in 9 months time, and then sell them on the strength of the derivative at today's price, thus making money, and "winning the bet".

There are all sorts of derivatives, and new ones are being created all the time. Just like gambling at casinos, you can get irresponsible use of derivatives, just ask the ex CEO of Lehman Brothers

The above derivatives are more specifically referred to as "put options", and they have their opposite, the "call option", which would be what you would buy in the above example if you thought Microsoft would bring out a ground breaking new product that would "take over the world", or at least the small percentage of the planet that has so far evaded them.

I don't know how binary trading fits into this, as it wasn't around the last time I looked.

I am new to this forum, and as it has in the title I do in fact run the operations of the binary betting platform GOptions.com. Quite a few years back I worked for an RTG online casino or two, I remember how this forum was pretty much the place to be accredited or put down/brought to justice

You may want to have a look at our Posting Rules before you wander any further into "kick me now" territory. Items 1.2, 1.3 and 1.18 should be of particular interest to you.

My advice is that you clear any further self-promotion stuff with Bryan -- he's the [profile]Casinomeister[/profile] -- before you post yourself off the forums and into the doghouse.

LATER: come to think of it having a poll like that in your intro post is just spammy by nature: you're not doing it to say hello, you're doing it to generate buzz for your brand. Given that and you having abused it to shill the forums ... poll removed.

I did have experience of this forum a while back, and yes I have written yesterday to pretty much every gambling based forum I could find in order to work out whether binary betting fits well with the crowd.
Completely my ignorance on the subject title, I really was trying not to step out of line/wind people up the wrong way.

I am a cheesy salesman at heart so please also forgive my rookie mistakes with the poll I made and the fact I basically liked my own post.
If you guys can give me a chance to learn the ropes a bit I promise faithfully to not get up to any spammy business and to keep it straight.

All I want to do is be a part of the show and represent the company that I built and run. Honestly not sure if the gaming crowd/you guys are into it. but I figure it is betting and it does create a nice risk/reward factor most could enjoy. Again apologies for any mistakes and as long as its cool to hang out here I would be more than happy to try and answer any questions/banter that comes my way.

At the end of the day, you are here to SELL your business and NOT to "educate" us plebs about a new way to make money.

If it was all about just binary betting, you would have signed up as a regular member and not mentioned anything about your website....the fact that it was in the first sentence is enough for me, and probably for most.

I've seen people such as yourself i.e. cloaked advertisers masquerading as "regular guys", come and go here for over a decade...and you all have something in common. You want to create a "buzz" about YOUR website by using SOMEONE ELSE's website.

No point to dwell on that sort of negativity, at least I can tell you that I will try not to.
I was trying to come straight up, no games, no shadow posts, no cloak and dagger crap.

OK, so I got my entry speech wrong by the rules of the place and I had hands in the air the whole time stating whatever is best to do I will follow suit.
Take it down a notch, yes of course some good positive exposure would be great for us and the biz no doubt.

My feeling is many gamers are moving into binary betting hence my recent posts here and every other gaming forum out there. Again I am coming straight up under no false pretences there, so give a little slack where you can. When I worked for supremeplay and 21grandcasino in sales the main boss there forced me to sit and read through this site what felt like daily. Yes I have written to other sites, as there are other portals dedicated to gaming betting and forum style stuff which I would also like to start building a rep on.

Anyway, I am going round in circles a bit. TRULY no offence/sly tactics at work. I wanted to see if its possible/ok to intro the company here to gain some feedback (its very rewarding to gain that sort of feedback as you can imagine the marketing spend a place like us goes through attempting to bring new traffic/styles of clients in to use it). As much or as little that comes from this all I am really grateful, again take it a little easy. Remember I have laid the cards out without being asked to and genuinely I know my stuff when it comes to binary as I have been in the industry since the start back in early 2008. Leave the ego aside everything you guys say is true pretty much, I am just saying look, no games, not hiding a thing and genuinely interested in you guys. If the mood is good, whatever promotions/freebies/taster no depo needed stuff you guys could want I would be more than happy to put together at some later stage. Of course all with the aim of introducing more people to the company and brand and of course trying to make whoever is looking at it/using it happy at the same time. All of that being based on assumptions on how it truly works here so again I am at your mercy and the admins here, looking for some guidelines and I will keep my posts and personality within the straight and narrow 100%

Well there are ways to bet on the price of bitcoin vs another asset, like bitcoin price vs USD for example. Not the easiest thing in the world to get a grip on however as god only knows what bitcoin is going to be worth on any particular day

Hey the reply is appreciated, my view on this is pretty simple considering I am an operator of an offshore broker (pretty much the same biz model as an offshore casino platform), the view is that financial betting is a form of gambling. Simply because all you need is an opinion. By all means you can then add fundamental or technical indication to feel better about your opinion, but truth is, you can look at anything from the value of apple stock, to the current EUR/USD price and simply speculate if it will rise or fall. You choose the outlaying risk, and you see the full potential reward upfront.

More like a table game if ever you were going to compare it to anything, it 100% isnt forex Well at least for the majority that take it for what it is, a form of financial entertainment with Japanese flashing lights everywhere
