Achievements across brands

I came across a very weird thing the other day, I was playing a site and noticed my achievements on Jurassic park was the same as another sister site, One of the sites is in there group and the other a white label, I checked other machines like IR and they have not, I am 100% sure about this, Is this possible? It must be as it has happened but why?
