A few weeks ago, this started happening to me "again" (jumping, jittery, slowing on reels, etc) I called the rep and he said it sounded corrupted, he sent me a link to reinstall & update, I did the reinstall and everything was ok again. This still happens occasionally, it seems to happen after I have been playing for a long time, I will disconnect and then reconnect and it seems to go back to normal after that. Give that a shot next time and see if that works for you too.:)

hey ive listened to you alls advice and am here to let you know im 5 days virtual group free:) not to my doing only but my hubbys, we went yesterday to the gambling boat in metropolis, ill it was horrible lost 400.00 in 2 hours came out of that place with free soft drinks , blew a tire on the way home was stranded for 2 hours big mistake but what the hell nice ride up lol. thanks to all who have shown me the light just wished id stayed home yesterday and played on the computer. its been hard staying away from poc and ill go back prob, rather tell the truth than lie but im giving it one hell of a shot. im calling this one my own personal 12 step program. ive come to learn that you have a better chance at online casinos than land based, only diff. land casinos put the money right in your hands no waiting :thumbsup:
 
Hey everybody I am a totally honest person so send me a 1000 and when I receive it I will flip a coin.

No, I thought not.
We all know why some people slate the Casinos and why other people defend them but non of us can prove whether they are or are not random.
Personally I think you actually get more play from online slots than land based slots but I also think they are not random.
With RTG for example when you go on bad streak you can see the reels resetting as they spin (you will see the same symbol go past twice in quick succession when there is only 1 on the reel) and it would have to be an incredible coincidence that I always hit my best wins when I take a bonus during the first half of my WR and then suddenly hit a wall about halfway through where the scatter symbols seem to vanish.
But then again for all my moaning I usually have fun now I only play small and purely for entertainment and as I say my money goes further than in land based Casinos.
Am I rambling again?
I am always broken on Sundays.

won my first jackpot at ballys in tunica ,miss. thats what started me gaming went in the first time to the casino played a 25. wild cherry game and hit all 3 cherrys 1250.00 it paid. i thought this is just too cool but it doesnt happen everytime. you will lose more than youll ever win if you dont get out when the getting is good.i enjoy playing at home the best and you do have more options than at a land based casino. insurance, free chips ,ect. i have a diamond card at horseshoes. valet parking. comp rooms and free meals it all works out the same (sometimes) gaming is gaming its all in the chance or computer chip.( i still like to think its luck ):)
 
In terms of 'jittery reels' etc, I'm almost certain that - assuming there is some secret payout memory - it would be server side and never within the downloaded software... I mean, anyone with half decent software knowledge could identify it and blow the online industry apart. Besides, it just makes sense that it would be on behalf of the casino sending the data back.

It's been said over and over and over and over and over and over again though... THERE'S JUST NO POINT!!

Seriously, we're talking slots here... Why is Las Vegas absolutely full of them!?!? They don't have memories, they don't reward bonus play etc etc - they just play to their 95% ish settings and make the casino a shed load of money. Sometimes people win as well...

I'm a bit tired of this nonsense cropping up again and again from people who really shouldn't be gambling.
 
Forgot to mention as well, it's within the gamblers nature that when you're playing with a bonus/free money - you're much more likely to be a bit looser with your spins and your bet sizes... Guess what, it means that you'll sometimes hit something nice...

I should point out I've had a DREADFUL run at MG since the start of this year, with my return SIGNIFICANTLY below the expected return... I've done exactly the same in Vegas. I'm not going to start crying "FIX!" because I gambled and lost...

I'm a bit tired of this nonsense cropping up again and again from people who really shouldn't be gambling.

Perhaps we should issue them with Yellow stars and ban them from forums.

What exactly are the criteria for who should and should not be gambling anyway it sounds an interesting concept.

To clarify; the two types of people I'm referring to:

1)

The person who throws away disposable income, knowing full well they're at the mercy of the house edge - but you never know... Comes up good - "Wahoo!" Comes up bad - "Ah well, maybe next time".

2)

The person who throws money at the casino, disposable or otherwise, and is very happy to take the wins - but moans like hell and cries "FIX!" when it goes the casino's way and they don't make any money back. Worst type of behaviour for the compulsive gambler, as they'll still go back again and again and again.

So yeah, type 2) just shouldn't be allowed in casino's... Although to be fair, my suspicion is they represent the large majority of online revenue.

It just sounded a little fascist that people should be discriminated against for voicing a particular opinion.
We get some sychophantic posts telling us that certain casinos are beyond reproach to balance out the rants and that is how a forum should work.
I think it works especially well here because this is one the best if not the best moderated forums I know of.
That means less censorship and interference not more IMO.

That's another MG bug, it does not mean a change of mood.
The auto logoff has become far more common again recently, however the biggest Thunderstruck bug happens during Autoplay and free spins. If your free spin total exceeds the single win limit, OR the "stop when" upper limit, the remaining free spins will be conducted far more slowly, and the slot will pause whenever a win is made, however small. Sometimes, this bug causes a spin to be "missed", and the slot stalls, with reels one and two stopped, but 3,4,5 continuing to spin forever. If it was the last free spin, the counter will indicate " -1 free spins left". This will not time out, as it is not a connection issue. To fix, exit & re-enter the game, and it will show completely different reel positions, which are one spin past the free spin round (or the sent, but not displayed result). You will not lose a win, only suffer the inconvenience.
I have reported this one, ages ago, but it is another one that MG have shelved, along with the EZBonus bug.


What is more important is footfall, of the 4 legged variety. If you spin away and see only one Ram pair, then it is likely to be on one of the long sucks between bonus rounds. Once two sets of Rams become fairly common, the slot is back in "normal" mode, and free spins will happen with the expected frequency or better. If a spell of frequent scatteres ends, but with never the three, you are in "super suck mode", and it will be one of those 700+ spins without a bonus round.

I think that people are scared & have a right to be. If this were a totally honest business there would not be a "rogue casinos" list. Its crazy to have total trust in something like an online casino or any other place where you put your money & have no PROOF as to where its really going. Its our own choice to play. BUT if people did not share thier experiences here good/bad, we would not be as informed on whats going on in the online casino world. When you play at a casino and later find out that its been put on the chit list here, its frustrating, but at least we know to never go back. If people are afraid to share experiences because others are sick of hearing it...we might get screwed.

IMO & personal experience, payouts HAVE changed in MG casinos. I think it is due to there being SO many games now. The way my mind understands it is this: a casino is not going to pay out more than it takes in. So lets say last month it took in 5k and plans to pay out 50% then the $2500 gets split between games. If it had one game, the payouts would be more frequent & if it had 500 games it would be less because that is a huge split.
I dont know if this sounds corney, its just been my thought on it all.
When I go to a casino, if the losses are rediculous in between wins on several games, it makes me think that maybe no one is playing there very often so there is no money in it.
Its just one of my gazillion theories.
I'm not trying to be bitchy with ya Babs, but I DO wanna hear peoples opinions & experiences. Hell for all we know one day we could find out that MG is a huge well hidden scam...what could we all say? "we should have known" ? the truth is that we dont know...not for sure. BUT as long as I have this place to read experiences of others & Bryans team watching our backs here, I feel safer.

Now if you only knew when the clumps of random numbers would run your way you could retire from this silly sport, eh? Never will though.

The greater mathminds here could tell you the odds of five wins in a row, I don't find it that remarkable really. Six beats in a row? Just about as often.

This site is an absolute gem!! Has some of the machines I used to play whilst still at school. They have some of the fruit machines I never thought I would see again. All I can say is THANKS THANKS THANKS!!! never knew this sort of emulation existed for fruit machines!!!!!

I am like a kid in a candy store right now.
