I have enjoyed playing online for a couple of years however I have decided to call it a day. I really dont want to dishearten any of you. The reason why....I have had a "relationship" with 2 casinos from an accredited well known company whom a lot of you rave about. Since January this year the payout has been appalling, on 2 occasions that I have complained harshly to them they or he has reinstated my deposit.....on the last occasion ...2days ago I managed to hit lines on slots that would have been obviously impossible otherwise,....a 3.60 bet wins 650 0n ladies nite the other occasion I complained I hit all the bonus rounds that would have also been a certain impossibility...I am just bringing up a point for you to ponder on. I do not at all bear a grudge or am going to mention any casino and they matched every 500 a month etc ...but there was no way i stayed for ,long without loss after loss. Also I noticed I only ever triggered significant wins on depositing .......Anyway it has happened too often and with other casinos that I only used this company in the end...only for them to go the same way... I will be saving my 1000 a month now and investing it in less precarious companies... please I beg you not to be offended.... I had fun but not since January....

Thx ...

Good luck in your ventures!

And if anyone else thinks there's a "win switch" (read: rigged), I would advise you to quit as well :)

I never heard of win switch....haha .... If your only big wins had been on 2 reinstated bonuses SINCE January then I would be advising anyone to tread cautiously.... Like I state I do not hold grudges... For me it was becoming a stressful addiction.... and thats not what I call value for money.

Good Luck to all of you too......

I too only play at a few selective casinos and my problem is I win but cannot ever find the cashout button when I should, so I have the opposite problem to you in as much as the slots I have played have payed ... bet these casinos just love me LOL...anyway good luck in your future ventures & I wish you all the best.

Hey there, I was becoming concerned with the way the games were played out due to the fact that I would deposit quite a bit, lose it all, then my mom would come over deposit and win! (she doesn't have a computer) I thought I would email the casino and ask them if there is a memory when someone wins; for example; if my mom wins, then would the game reset or change in any way? Here is a portion of the email they sent me. I didn't feel it was necessary to copy the whole email but this is what they told me. And as soon as I received the email and went back to play, I ended up winning! I was curious if the casino could change or reset the games. Here's the quote:

With regards to your query insofar memory is concerned, there is
a
limited amount of history which is kept for purposes of
financial
accounting and play history. The software does not discriminate
against
certain players. Everyone simply plays into the same platform
and its
pure luck insofar slots wins or losses are concerned. Other
games,
example the tables, will require a certain level of skill.

p.s. I dont know if this info is any use to you but it kinda set me straight.
Patrina:)

It's just a long winded way of saying the games are completely random.

I am a little suspicious of how this "randomness" is implemented, as I often see far too much "streakiness" in the games, even though long term payouts match the theoretical expectations.
Well, UK Fruit Machines pay the expected long term percentage, but they are rigged as hell, and play according to recent history.

Sometimes when I'm on a "roll" the games start to slow at the last few reels and sort of jump? I think I know what you mean by "streakiness" I'm sure everyone has wondered whether the games can be controlled or not. One time before I asked a casino about this and she said "no, and if we could we wouldn't have the time to do it anyhow" with a little bit of a chuckle. Where I play (mostly) TPG, I have won 5 times in the last 3 weeks. Not huge, but pretty good amounts. The fruit machines are rigged? And do they get away with it? I haven't heard of any casinos getting in trouble for this, only in the rogue section where it says a few have funky software, I would like to find out more about this. Tell me more Vinyl (if you have time) Thanks
Patrina

UK Fruit Machines are controlled so that they pay out the percentage in a particular pattern. This can be a cycle in the simpler games, to a full blown "pot" system in the complicated feature games.
They are designed to play at around 50% for a while, and then pay the additional 20% from a so called "streak pot" to the lucky (or skillful:D) player who happens to be on it at the time.
The streak patterns range from the subtle to the "bleedin' obvious". The payout control software gives rise to problems as players can manipulate some features and take advantage of the games. Some errors lead to so called "emptiers", where a specific sequence of play leads to an unrecorded win (paid, but not recorded against overall paid percentage due to bad coding).
Some casinos now have these "Fruit Machines", and the belief is that these too share some of the non-random aspects of the real thing.

It is possible to play on a simulator on the PC, that you can load with older UK fruit machines and see pretty much how they behave. The simulations use original ROM chips from the machines, and use the test rig software that the companies probably use to test the games prior to release. Enthusiasts have coded this with virtual layouts, so that you can play what looks like the actual machine on your PC, similar to how slots are portrayed and played at online casinos.
Although the simulations are widely sold on Ebay as CD packages, they are actually FREE, and the packages are an attempt to rip people off - you are just paying for someone to make up the CD, not for the actual games.

Not to sound rude here but after I read your post my first thought was "why even post this thread if you aren't going to name the casino('s)." You say you are done playing so throw out the name, it isn't like it can affect you in any way and others who play there may benefit from your post or send an email like you did to get the win switch turned on lol.

"PART OF MY QUOTE"
. "And as soon as I received the email and went back to play, I ended up winning! I was curious if the casino could change or reset the games."

Rettahs I wasn't sure if you were referring to my quote or the original posters but when I stated I ended up sending them an email and then after that I ended up winning, I wasn't referring to any "winswitch" I was stating that it is purely coincidental. Except fpr what Vinyl has pointed out and explained I feel it is based on luck and random hits. I know you were quoting the thread starters post but I didn't see anything about an email in his/her post, but in mine there was. Just trying to determine who you were referring to.

Oh, I was asking the OP since they said they had complained a few times and what not and after that they seemed to have won. Just figured they did it via email and such. It just makes no sense to me to start a thread warning other players of pretty much nothing if there are not any specific names and such in it. To me it just comes down to them playing long enough to hit something not that it was directly related to the complaints. Heck, you play long enough you are bound to hit something :).

I have been playing online slots long enough to know that when I am about to get better payouts sometimes my game will start to slow right down & become jittery...actually I also get logged off free spin modes a lot to if I am playing thunderstruck...usually I can get back to my game, but I have noticed how my PC behaves if things start to go my way....so maybe there is something there in regards to memory etc.

how's your weekend been cheeky, since your big hit on Friday?

Well I cashed out 1k, blew about 500 of it on Thunderstruck @ 9 a spin :eek2: and still got about 300 sitting there.

Went out Friday night and got wrecked in a Spanish bar with my work mates and had a STINKING headache all day yesterday so didn't really play the casino that much.

Will be playing today, but I'm not feeling that lucky actually.

Que sera sera....

Hope you doing ok mate.

Dobry den z Ceske Republiky!

So are you going to tell us where we can get these free copies?
I would love to have a go at some proper rigged fruities on my PC!

Diky, ahoj.

Well I am telling you most sincerely and without bias that almost well all of the casinos I have ever joined I have had significant wins since joining and thereafter not. It was of no coincidence that with the last 2 reinstated bonuses I won first ALL the bonus rounds in EVERY single game....and the 2nd I had 5 large hits on Ladies nite..... since January I have noticed the pattern that if i deposited 100 i won 30 over that the first couple of spins and then that was that no matter what game I played it was all drizzle.
This has been the case over 2 years for most casinios...I quit FORTUNE LOUNGE because of it and I have now quit the casinos that gave me the most complimentary bonuse because of my loyalty and loss
I am not at all saying it is like that for everyone and I do not want those who enjoy the past time to take offense but I know from my experience and for some of you ..... will be the same.....
How is it possible for on 2 occasions out of many to hit after emailing. And why would a casino match 500 a month with only 1 times play thru requirement.........

And I would love to tell you who it is but I have read you cant name and shame etc...unless you give the casino prior warning...and I did mail him some 2 weeks ago threatening to tell all about the payout percentage etc....but he quickly reinstated said deposits...

I am just very sceptical as would others be.......

I wish you all luck

And whats the point in telling who it is anyway ....as I have said all casinos follow the same route..

including the likes of ......DASH AND 32RED BET DIRECT ETC

I never wanted a debate ...just closure for myself and help for others in relation to how casinos operated during my experience with them

I don't know what to think about this subject. We've hashed out this topic so many times before, and we never get to the end of the thread with any real answers. Never will either! .. but I will say that I have 2 land-based casinos 20 minutes away. You wanna talk about money-sucking, no pay slots! And most land casinos I've been to seem to be that way. Really bad times. Even though I rarely end up with a cash-out in the end, I find that I at least get some play and excitement with online slots. It's way better than that feeling of just getting kicked in the nuts and robbed by a goon that I get in land-based. Anyway, the whole thing is geared to seperate us from our money, but I find that online slot designers have been alot more creative and generous in the area of giving the player some excitement and satisfaction even if the end result becomes the same.

I experience the same thing when I'm playing slots and am on a winning streak so to speak. The game slows down almost to a stall and the spinning becomes weird.
Everytime this has happened the random jackpot was usually won(not always by me, lol).
Just very well could be something to this. We can only hope :D

I agree with Rettahs, why not say who the casinos are. Afterall, you did state you emailed them and I'm sure the rest of us who might happen to play at these casinos would appreciate it.
Unless you inconspicuoulsy just named them in the above mentioned. ;)
