People were screwing around long before the internet was invented. In fact I'm pretty sure 2 days after the monogamous relationship was invented someone in the second couple two looked over the fence to see how hot the first one was.

It's a sad thing to say but for the most part humans aren't much better at sticking with one partner than most other animals. In fact some of them are much better at it.

I've never had an affair or slept with a woman married to someone else and I know many other people can say the same. It should be the norm but the reality is different. And it's not new. It's pretty much as old as we are. This is just a new way for someone to make money off it.

Well lets think about it - the divorce rate is estimated now at 52%, most people have very low morals and think life is to be peechy and fun 24/7 and when it isnt they go looking for it - most take no consideration for those they claimed to have loved nor the children that came from that love.

Do you really need to understand why sites like those are some of the highest earners in online dating? The sad part is they are, will most likely continue to be due to the general state of our society and the lack of moral obligations.

The really sad thing is being married to the same partner for 20-30 yrs is great, the bond of love deepends and is a great way to live life. Peple need to get a grip and start taking responsibility and those types of sites will suffer for it.

I recently read a Jonathan Kellerman novel where one of the characters had a website where rich old men ("daddies") could hook up with attractive young gold-diggers ("sweeties") for fun and profit respectively, and I honestly thought that it was a little farfetched...until I found out that there were real sites like that.

Haven't received that one but for some strange reason, I get at least 1 scam email a day since New Years. Had a real slick looking one from a fake Amazon site - someone put a lot of work making it look good.
