i would just like to show my apriciation for the help i have recieved since joining this forum at the beginning of last yr
things have not gone well for me since entering the world of online gambling
i was drawn to the forum as most are by being ripped off by virtual casino group but hung around to enjoy the topics and discussions along the way
although not a massive poster on here i have tryed to get involved but being a novice i didnt really have a vast knowledge to take part
anyways as a warning to novice gamblers like myself id like to say take it easy as the nice wins are good but the losses can really hurt
i finally took the step to stop my addiction to gambling 4 weeks ago and decided i had to admit i had a problem
i contacted gamcare in the uk were i reside and they have put me on a councelling course to try and sort my addiction out
microgaming have closed all my accounts and my bank has put a block on all gaming transactions
i got to the point were i believe the buzz of winning wasnt enough and i was just playing for the hell of it as i won a nice £3200 in a session and guess what i returned the following evening and blew £2500 away instead of hitting the withdraw button, this money would have given us a good christmas
i know most people on here can control there gambling but suppose i was just one of the many who cant
im glad to say i have been gambling free for 4 weeks now and i have got over the initial urges to drop off the wagon and somehow find a way to gamble and im so proud of myself
the downside of this is sadly i stopped too late and i have lost my house , my partner of 17yrs and any self respect i had
sadly i suppose this happens to alot of people in the world of gambling and im sure im not alone
thanks for all the help guys and hope you all the best in the future
