Dear CasinoMeister,

I started my own website to promote good casinos, and became their affiliate. In October 2004, I started working with Casino-On-Net (888.com), Pacific Poker and Reef Club Casino, which belong to one company -- Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited.

Starting from November 2004, there were 5 players joined either casino-on-net (888.com) or reef club, and 2 players joined pacific poker through my website, some of them are friends of mine. All players are legit, and correctly recorded in my affiliate account stat.

According to the affiliate policy, I should get previous month's payment on 15th every month. But unfortunately, I didn't get my November's payment on December 2004. At first, I thought this delay might have been caused by the holiday season, and started to contact them before Christmas. First few emails went through smoothly, and the CS promised me the payment would be sent to me before the New Year.

In January 2005, the payment still did not reach me, and I started to email the same CS, but this time, no reply at all. Then I had to phone their CS in Israel, and I was always told that this issue must be handled by their financial department, and I can't talk to them directly, and they will contact me ASAP. But till now (already a month past the payment date), and the December 2004's payment is coming, but I still didn't hear anything from them yet, which means Decembers payment could be delayed as well. I tried to find some other ways to contact them, so their supervisor could get in touch of this issue, but other than by email and by phone, there's no way to contact them. I don't know if this only happens to me or actually some other affiliates also suffer from it.

I have no choice but to file a complaint in public, and stop promoting 888.com and pacific poker on my site. I hope 888.com and pacific poker affiliate programs treat this issue seriously.

Any advice is appreciated and thanks for reading my post.

Best,
WWG

I'm not sure if the eCOGRA Fair Gaming Advocate can help because their priority is player protection, but it may be worth a try.

The organisation is also concerned with fair and efficient operational conduct so your complaint may come within that purview.

Should NOT be financial problem, check this out, new from 1on1 website:

Two of the world's biggest internet gambling companies are considering initial public offerings (IPOs) in London, the larger of which could go straight into the blue-chip FTSE 100 index, casinocitytimes.com reported.

The two companies, iGlobalMedia and Cassava Enterprises, are located in the same building in Gibraltar, but there is no connection between them, the report said.

IGlobalMedia controls the PartyPoker website, and is controlled by a small number of private shareholders, including Ruth Parasol, its head of international business development. The company is estimated to achieve earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) of about $350 million.

Hi win-win,

I'm in London at the moment at the ICE. I'm unsure if they have a rep here or not, but if they do - i"ll hit them up on this. They may be aproblem with you signing up friends and family members. I'm not sure. I know I've seen some affiliate terms somewhere that covers these things. I can't remember off of the top of my head at the moment.

BTW this should fall into eCOGRA's arena since this has to deal with marketing. Affiliates should not be treated differently than players, right? :D

CON and Pacific are one of the best affiliate programs around, but their payments are the slowest. I get my payments by check and it comes around two month later, so I hope to get November check in a couple of weeks ;)...

Hi jetset, thanks for your suggestion. I filed a complaint yesterday, and they responded promptly. But they stated they can't handle business entities.

QUOTE:
"I appreciate the effort you have made to contact eCOGRA and explain your predicament. However, I regret to inform you that eCOGRAs dispute mediation service is a benefit offered exclusively to players at casinos and not 3rd party business entities."

Hi CasinoMeister, thank you for taking care of my issue while you are in England.

I've contacted eCOGRA yesterday, and the replied me today said: "offered exclusively to players at casinos and not 3rd party business entities."

Have a safe trip!

Thanks YuraK, if this is the situation, I feel much relieved.

888, Reefclub & Pacific Poker affiliate program saved their reputation

I do not know if the former complaint letter worked or these casinos actually pay their affiliate every two months or every three months. But I am happily telling everybody that they paid me the actual amount yesterday. So I think their name could still be trusted.

Meanwhile I increased their rank at my website. If they continually do so, their name will be among the most trusted names at my site. But I still wrote to them that they should CORRECT their payment time on their web (clearly stated as "We pay all our affiliates on the 15 of every month for the previous months referrals.") so that similar misunderstanding wont happen again.

Thanks very much for your kind help, CM, Jetset, PandaToledo & YuraK.

Hi CasinoMeister, I want to change the title of this post to: "888, Reefclub & Pacific Poker affiliate program--problem resolved". But can't make the change by myself. Could you please help me to change it?

Thanks
