I take a 5 dollar bonus at Desert Nights for the "upgrade bonus" and I can't lose. One bonus feature after another and I pump the 5 bucks to 100. Weird since I haven't hit anything since I joined this casino. In fact at minimum bet my deposits don't last longer than my coffee.

So I have a hundred bucks and still almost the entire 150 WR to clear. About a half hour after I start I whittle the 150 down and about the same time I clear it and hit 3 white diamonds in diamond dozen that brings my balance from 44 back up to 57. Support says I can keep playing with the 57. (yay)

Same games, same wagers. 57 to zero in about 5 minutes. No more bonus features. I hit 6x my wager once. The rest was pretty much all less than 1x.

I can't count the amount of times I've played with a WR on a free chip or deposit bonus and the very second I clear the WR my balance gets toasted.

You are not alone. I keep biting my tongue every time I read a thread like this and want to scream - that's happening to me too!!! How can that be..so many coincidences over the last 9 years that I can't keep track anymore. Had a $50 free chip yesterday with exactly the same experience. The bonus was offered as a result of too many losing sessions over the last few months. You start to think things are turning around but that only lasts as long as the bonus does. Put in your own money and away it goes..no wins..no features..nothing. Well I'm glad I'm not alone but the "tin foil hat" club seems to be calling my name.

Then why don't you just withdraw as soon as you satisfy the WR?

That's just it... you make wagering. Probably not really enough to cash-out left, so you play it to try and get it back up and it goes straight to hell in a hand basket!

I can't tell you how many times that has happened to me as well.

I should join the "tin foil hat" club too!

Then why don't you just withdraw as soon as you satisfy the WR?

Well, obviously I should have but who wants to gamble with a cut off time? Specially when you don't really have a high balance when the WR is cleared.

In this case I cleared the WR in about a half an hour. In that half hour I had free spins in Triple Toucan, T-Rex and Honey to the Bee. I even had 4 white diamonds in Diamond dozen and then 3 more after that. I'm usually lucky if I can get 3 white diamonds after a few hundred spins. So you're finally having a good session and the very minute you clear the WR you're supposed to quit?

Besides RTG casinos don't pay overnight. If I'm going to wait a week to get paid I'd like to withdraw more than 50 bucks.

It was free, I didn't lose anything (for a change) but seriously... It would be nice if the winning streak would last longer than the WR once in a while.

OK skiny......you think that the software knows when you make WR, and then drops the RTP immediately to ensure you can't cashout.

I won't mention the fact that the software allowed you the opportunity to walk away a winner in the first place, or the fact that the more bets you place the more likely you are to lose, or the fact that many players meet WR and continue winning and cashout the max, as that would make it impossible for you to prove your theory.

Instead, I challenge you to provide the details of all these times that you "can't count" so that we can see exactly where the "switch" gets thrown. If the software does as you suggest, it should show very clearly. I'm sure ms sloto and other RTGs here would be happy to supply detailed logs. I would also like you to explain just how the software does this, given that the RTPs of these spots are controlled by adding and removing symbols from reels. I have no doubt that some kind of restart would be required to implement such, whether it be the casino as a whole or just the game. It is also logical that there would have to be a change server-side. I just don't see how all this could happen seamlessly......and I also can't see how the operator could benefit in cases like yours where you actually reached the $50 max cashout AFTER meeting WR. Why give you the opportunity to cashout the max at all? If the idea is to make you lose, which it has to be, then why not keep ripping you off until you hit zero?

Your argument makes no sense from a commercial or practical perspective......but hey, I'm not the one telling the story. Show me I'm wrong. I'm all ears.

GM is correct....you COULD have cashed out the max. Instead, you kept playing because you didn't want to be time restricted I.e. you wanted a long playing session. Fact is, it was YOU, not the software, that made the decision that you wouldn't win. Instead of taking the $50 and walking away a winner, you chose to play on (in spite of the fact that you couldn't win more anyway) and lost it all. If you just wanted to play on for no monetary advantage whatsoever, you only needed to cash out your $50 and change to fun mode.

I don't begrudge anyone having an opinion, but posts like yours go beyond opinion IMO.....they are shrouded "suggestions" that the casino/software/operator is dishonest, and if you're going to make such "suggestions", you should provide some kind of evidence to back it up. Otherwise, it just looks like a sore loser blaming something/someone else for their losses.

The age old defence used by many to such challenges is "Oh its just my opinion and I'm entitled to it".....which of course everyone is, but by the same token, if you're going to express an "opinion" in public, and fail to present even a logical argument let alone evidence, you're going to have to accept that you're going to be seen by some as a tinfoil hatter.....and rightly so.

You can choose to wordsmith around it, and I'm sure you will, but the fact remains that you ARE suggesting that an accredited casino is offering an unfair/rigged game......and without a shred of evidence. IMO this is ridiculous, and I'm surprised that someone with your tenure would still buy in to these "on/off switch" tinfoil theories.......which, strangely enough, always come right after someone has lost what they know they could have cashed out.

Nothing personal skiny, and it really isn't, but this is stuff I'd expect from a newb or someone who knew nothing about casinos and slots. Whichever way I read and re-read it, it still comes out looking like sour grapes and remorse about making a poor choice.

OK skiny.............................

I'm just thanking you 'cause you typed a lot. That was a lot more effort than I would have put into a thread like this.

So maybe the software isn't rigged. Maybe it's bad luck. Maybe it's coincidence. Maybe there really is a god and he gets pissy when I'm able to cash out. Who knows?

Sure would be nice if the winning streak would last longer than the WR sometimes, though.

I remember hitting 5 bonus symbols on TS2 at GoWild shortly after I joined here,it was only a small bonus, and I think I had it at around 3 coins-think it was around £90 and I just missed out on a w/d as I played it down.

I think the minute you try to work out how many spins you need to make a w/d you're always going to be on a downward spiral-just forget about the bonus and play it as it is for a while.

I tend to find TS2 is good for trying to get through a playthrough, had a few ok results after taking a bonus.

On a sidenote, has anyone had phone calls from riverbelle casino of late?

Only played there once and I received a phone call yesterday and today, also felt rather pressured into accepting a phone call in a few weeks.

I received the same promotion, and I'd like to thank Desert Nights for a chance to have a bit of fun. Sad to say the upgrade still triggered my anti-virus, but I'm content to allow it as safe.

I haven't played yet, and I'd be happy to play long enough to meet the WR with the max withdrawable. if I got that lucky.

Think it is (yay) that you were told by support you could continue to play for a chance to win more.

If I get lucky and meet WR, I'll probably contact support and ask if I can lose it back too. Without your thread I probably would have assumed that the max cashout meant just that and withdrawn.

I'm sincere when I say the casino's flexibility is a good thing. Luck is always fickle.

Happy Canada Day skiny. I know you already think I'm odd to be as content as I am losing.

I got a $1.00 up to $80 which I was totally freaked and buzzed about

;)Nordic have a promotion of a free spin everyday till August, so I jumped on - took my free spin and won a $1.00. Somehow or other got that up to $80 then cashed out $50 and gambled the other $30 which *went in less time than it took me to drink my coffee. Anyway being a typical gambler, thinking well I was on a roll, that $30 went wayyyy tooo fast, Im gonna cancel that withdrawal and gamble the other $50. To discover that, wow! Nordic dont do reverse withdrawels:eek:

Thinking of it now, its probably a good thing because now I have $50 to throw away on the slots next week though to be honest at the time, I didnt think it was :D:cool:

It does not matter whether you have had a good session or not, if you continue playing the expectation is that you will lose. If you play long enough, you will lose everything.

Happy Canada day!

I was kind of surprised I didn't have to withdraw when I reached 50 bucks too. I said "Are you sure?" Of course if I had to cash out I'd be 50 bucks richer. :p

If I play long enough... true. More than 5 minutes after finding out I had no max cash out would have been nice. lol

RTG slots are EXTREMELY Volatile.. Like off the scale volatile IMPO....

I played a bit in the last few weeks but have cut back significantly.

It sucks losing anywhere from $500 to $1500 playing $1 a spin ... and not hitting anywhere near 100x bet.
