I got an email from 3dice about their new cashier system and in that mail something left me wondering. They wrote;

The Rainy-Day Funds

For our VIP players, 3Dice now offers an exclusive feature called Rainy-Day funds. This feature can be used when you are wanting to play with real cash, but are unable to make a deposit. It may be raining cats and dogs, banking hours may not align with your busy schedule or you can not use your credit card. For all those scenarios, VIP players can now use Rainy-Day Funds.

Rainy-Day funds are considered an advance on your next withdraw. They are automatically handled by the cashier. 3Dice considers these a perk and not a credit. Therefore, should you at any time decide to stop playing at 3Dice with unsettled Rainy-Day funds having been advanced, please consider these your final comp.

Does this mean that Vip´s can play and pay later? or am I reading it all wrong?
What is your opinion about this?

yes vip has a play now and pay later via draft off very next cash out [must be paid in full] prior to next cash out

not a credit account but is a perk because if you quit gameing you dont have to pay it back its considered your final comp

and i must say its heads and shoulders above anything else on the Internet gaming scene

PS limits are set on vip level

Yes you can play and pay it later. Its an advance and the amount is dependant on loyalty levels.

So for instance, if you have $50 in 'Rainy Day Funds', you are free to use them (I don't think they carry WR and are treated as cash). If you make something, you can pay it back and withdraw the balance. You are not allowed to make a WD until you settle your RDF.

Problem is, if you lose, you owe them that amount on your next withdrawal. Its a nifty feature, but im not too keen on it. I have used mine and end up playing to try and win extra to cover up the Rainy Day funds so I can withdraw, which obvisouly results in me losing the balance in the end:p

I have asked Enzo to remove mine, hopefully he can and I won't use it going forward.

To add to this , if you like to sponsor tournaments or gift people, I do believe you have to have rainy day funds settled before you can transfer any money. Actually the gift feature is removed from cashier if you have rainy day funds that need to be settled.

I think the rainy-day system is a bad thing.

I strongly believe that casinos should not give players who are not able to deposit, the opportunity to play with "credits". VIP og not.

The players who uses the "rainy-day"-credit, may not be willing to do another deposit, if the balance becomes negative. So a bit odd. But, good for the player i suppose.

Used correctly this is an advantage to the player. I wouldn't be knocking it back.

yes you can do another deposit, you cant withdraw without settleing the funds first. So if your. I think its good for the tenured high depositing players

I love it! I have been home sick so I haven't been able to get out and load my card so I used mine. Didn't win but at least I got to play. I don't mind having it taken out of my next withdrawal and then having it available to me again. I think it will be real handy for the regular players, especially with the having to wait til a certain time to be able to deposit.

I think the rainy day feature is great...If you do not want to use it you don't have to...Being in the good old USA I can't always make a deposit..They do not accept Visa, etc and with QT only operating at a certain time in the evening it is not as easy as it used to be to make a deposit...So, I say thank you for trying something new..

i agree and ti make it very clear no one gets the privilege until they are reviewed

not available to the newbies

understood it incorrectly

Ok..I did not understand this option correctly..I thought it was a advance if you were not able to make a deposit and then they would collect it on your next withdraw..Sounded great..Like today, I have no money in my QT and cannot deposit till tonight so I am out of luck to gamble at 3Dice..So I was going to use my advance money...But the way it actually works is you can take a advance (they should call it extra) on your withdraw..So, if I am withdrawing 150.00, i can take whatever my advance is, say 50.00 and make the withdraw 200.00....Sorry, but this does not help me......I am already making a withdraw, so there is no issue with depositing...I would like to be able to use the advance now and then pay it back on my next withdraw...Am I understanding this correctly????:p

Ok..I got it now

Sorry...Ignore last post...I finally learned how to do the advance and it is great:p..You are able to take advance and then pay back on your next withdraw...As I should earlier, you do not have to take advantage of it, but I think it is great 3Dice has thought of another way to make things a little easier for us...Now lets turn that advance into a win..:notworthy

I will say to start off that i like the rainy day option

However my small problem is that you can't deposit via mastercard unless its registered through moneybookers which causes me a small problem. I use prepaid vanilla mastercards when i make deposits and are only good for use once and moneybookers only allows me to have 3 registered cards with them and will only remove 1 card every year if i remember correct.

So at best unless i win and store some cash in moneybookers i'll only be able to make 4 deposits into my 3dice account :sob:

I am not playing much at 3Dice for this reason. My MB credit card limit has been reached so I cannot deposit via this method. I only play at 3Dice now when I have some winnings in my MB account.

They used to accept direct CC deposits.

They are working on it. The new MB CC deposit option, was not supposed to be connected to your MB account. The limit on registered cards and amount deposited should not affect you. They hope to have it fixed soon!
