3Dice hunt.

3Dice listens

Well, I followed Bernyhel's advice and also sent an email to [email protected] asking that regular VIPs be scheduled during the chat hunts, and I noticed that on Sunday there were VIPs on the schedule during the Mona Hunt freeroll.

I'm not sure why Mona (aka Trollet) couldn't make it, but an additional freeroll and an additional VIP were scheduled when the Hunt was not held.

Thanks 3Dice for listening to your players.

Skiny, just to keep on topic, you started this one about the hunts and that VIPs should continue during the hunts. Please feel free to start another thread, because we all have those stories.

I thought it was funny.

Yes, I noticed there was a tournament during the last free hunt. I'm waiting to see if it's common practice before I cheer.

Which thread do I ask how I become one of those tournament players who wins 8 out of 10 blackjack hands when the dealer gets 20 or higher 15 out of 20 hands?

funny you should comment on this

I laughed so hard at this ......I ask..Does Anyone play this for Real Money???? jeeeeze.if they do i have some swamp land for sale .....it would be a better investment........ this was the 3rd time in this tourney that this happened...wow what ARE the odds?? LOL

Old Attachment (Invalid)

also had some nice 6 card blackjacks when i had 20 or 21...................LOL if i was in vegas i would go to prison for going postal on the dealer
Oh well
:thumbsup::laugh:

TADA.!!!!!!
I've been at Blackjack dealer school..LOL they give ya a whole stack of aces to hide in your sleeves...... and and under your hat

I tried that but I keep getting mixed up and having to stop halfway through the deal and ask "Oh, wait... what did you get?"

I can't deal myself my last card until I know.

5 minutes left. I have 11,000. Leader has 14,000.

Tourney ends, I have 20,000 leader has 34,000?

Well, I would never suggest anything untoward about any game at 3D but if anyone thinks that any of the hands in the screenshots below, all taken within the same session during the last 15 minutes of a 1 hour, Free, VIP Hold'em Tournament, are likely, not unusual, not designed to keep the player in the hand until the River, random, remotely possible or even conceivable by any stretch of even the most delusional of imaginations in a heads up game of Hold 'em, then there's a bridge in Brooklyn I think you might just be interested in.

Every single tournament I've played in for over a week (at least 4 per day) has ended in one of two ways. I'm in a winning postition until the last 2 or 3 minutes and someone gets some miracle hit that knocks me out in the last minute or I suddenly go on a 5 minute losing streak and lose about 30 hands, spins or rolls in a row.

I just finished another one (Free one this time) Third place for almost 2 hours and with 2 minutes left I'm knocked out.

I have never seen so many miracles and sudden losing streaks in my life. I get the feeling someone's pissed at me. ;)

I still see the same handful of winners.

As of 9:34 pm PST 06 May2010, I am 0 for 57 on the past 57 tourneys attempted/particapated in. I do a lot of my work out of home. So why not play in between working? The last Tourney money that has been claimed in my cashier came from a chat trivia question that was answered correctly. So, if I did not count that, I would be 0 for 71. But, I need to be fair and start my counting the next tourney I joined there after. I have documented all of the current 57 tourneys I have not won on notebook paper if anyone wants to challenge how I got 57.

There was a fellow player in the Global chat approx 30 min ago that accused me and said "stop whinning." I found that interesting because that player won 2 tourneys that we know of recently, and also flashed a red screen shot earlier in the day of a healthy win on a low wager. But, lets forget that player. I can only speak on my own behalf. What part of saying 0 for 57 is "whinning?" I am only stating actual facts that I am currently experiencing. I say "currently" because it is now. Maybe tommarrow will be better? I sure hope, but that is also what someone told me yesterday.

It feels as if "Ruby, if you want to play in real, your gonna need to deposit!" But, I refuse to bite the bait, give in, and load my ewallet account until I win a tourney. I do have a right to speak about tourney outcomes good and bad. A player recently said publiclly in global, "WOW, thats 2 in a row for me". I should be able to say that is 0 for 57 or maybe it will be 2 for 2 when my streak ends? Time will tell when I am going to win the next one.

I mean no offense to anyone or anything. I mean no offense to the casino or its staff. I mean no trouble.

None of this surprises me. Not the 71 losses in a row or the fact that you are called a whiner. There were days that I've spent hours in that chat room making jokes and having fun and after spending that entire time losing I finally brought up the fact that my entire night of gambling for real money and in tournaments was just a string of loses and as always the usual crowd pipes in and accuses me of whining. There is a steady string of automated messages telling everyone when people win money in tournament play and to a lessor degree, what people are winning in real play. You're welcome to cheer each other and discuss the wins but discussing losses in public is taboo. 3Dice has conditioned the chat room to be a source of positive information and negativity is frowned upon. Even when it is warranted. A small group of regular players perpetuate this by mobbing anyone who strays from the rules.

I don't feel you're a whiner. I feel you're well within your right to discusss what you lose as well as what you win. Balancing the truth about what you lose with the gratitude of what you've won is only being honest.

I won a $75 tourny, never played one before.

I bought $10 in tourny chips and used $4, and busted out, used another $4 and won the $75. Played on and off for 2 days.

To my surprise, which I wasn't expecting, it had a $750 playthrough. I knew I wouldn't make that, so my excitment went right downhill :(

I will never play one of those again, I am using real money and get a playthough, no thanks. :(

Skiny Quit whining

Skiny are you whining AGAIN !!!

sorry I couldn't resist :D

I have to go to jail this weekend for beating the be-Jesus out of the blackjack dealer last night ..I also shot the little red mutt in the head at point blank range :eek2:

Well, to be fair 3Dice offers the best playthough of any casino I know. It's one of the few places I can actually make a playthrough.

Again, like I said before I don't seem to do to bad playing here for real money. It's just the bloody tournaments where the really weird stuff happens. Anna pointed out to me today that I did quite well with tournaments last month. This was mostly chat games though. Movie trivias, that sort of thing. The weird things happen during tournament play like losing a 9 and 10 card spread in red dog 10 times in a row when I only needed 200 bucks to win... These things are far to common during tournament play.

I won a 5 dollar 12 hour free tournament today. I think I should mention that. I would really prefer it if everyone was limited to a couple of vip wins per week. At least everyone would have a chance by the end of the week.

I clicked "Raise" on an 11 card spread and the little dog ran down the screen and peed on my chips.

3Dice is the only casino I can't make a playthrough at....lol...I can do it at all other platforms. I go in streaks in tournys.

They made it up to me. They credited me $500.

JUST KIDDING OF COURSE!!!! :D

I was glad to hear after this post you won 2 out of 4 tournaments. :)

How many times do you lose 10 and 11 card spreads in this game? It's more common to lose an 11 card spread than it is to lose a 5 card spread. It's so common that I refuse to raise on an 11 card spread. This one came after literally 17 losing hands in a row.

....just a bad run....like mine...betting only 25c I went from 240 to zero....it happens....high variance  after 6/7 hundred bux at 25cents its called HIGH VARIANCE.
problem is....that the only alternative is RTG or if you are really brave Rival....
or...like someone is going to say...quit playing.....

Yes, That is true shortly after my post. However, I would like to explain. The first of the two wins was on a sudden quickie 15 min VIP $10 tourney that a kind player sponsored. At the time I joined that tourney, my count was 0 for 61. So I won that tourney at #62. It was not a regular tourney sponsored and funded by the casino. At that time, there was also multiple tourneys simultaneously happening. I did receive my tourney winnings with promptitude in my cashier, I claimed the prize and played a few different slots. I did not peak 1 cent over $10. I then started to somewhat believe my account was somewhat loosened up. The second tourney was a 1 TC buy in (all video slots & highest balance). I was extremely surprised that my $8200 high balance was strong enough to hold up. I logged in and claimed the $25 prize. I went to tut, played 25c bets to maximize my chances of winning. I got 3 tuts on two separate wagers. The biggest win of the two was approx. $12. Of course, it took several spins to finally get 3 tuts. Funny how both times receiving tuts they came on reels 1, 2, and 3. Could make a 4th or 5th tut for me? Wait, I am asking way to much now. I stopped playing and proceeded to get my work done.

I logged in about 5 hours later with a $18 balance left. I went to see if I could find fortune at Fortune Falls. I did not find fortune there. But, I did find four butterflies-four times in that session. You might be thinking, wow! Well, all four were on min 25 c bets. The biggest was a $17 total win and the smallest was a $4.38 win. Remember, all were at least 20 fs with a 4x multiplier. Trust me, I was very excited when I saw four butterflies. I was truly disappointed in the outcomes of each of the four bonus sessions. Especially the $4 bonus on 20 fs. At that point, I decided (bad decision) to deposit. I lost that deposit in less than 30 minutes of real playing time on min/small bets. When I say small, I mean no more than 50 cents per wager. Is my account tight? or is it the slot? I don’t know, But I am drastically reducing my deposits here in comparison to previous months.

I mean no offense to anyone or anything. I mean no offense to the casino or its staff. I mean no trouble. Just stating actual facts that I have experienced.

If that is a buy in tourney, that means a cash purchased TC. Therefor, out of fairness, there should be no WR (play through). I am sorry no one informed you of that.:Angel::Angel:

Maybe my Blackjack strategy is wrong too as I climb from my starting balance in the last half hour all the way up to the second place spot 1 hand out of first place with 5 minutes to go and then proceed to lose 13 hands in a row.

BJ strategy? There sure is as long as the dealer is not showing a 6, flipping a 7, pulling a 3, and then pulling another 5. I wish i could make a magical perfecto 21. That would beat a solid 20 everytime. It should be about a 2% house edge using optimal strategy. I am a premium BJ player. I have not won a BJ tourney in over 4 weeks at 3 Dice. However, I can take a lousy $100 to a 6 deck BJ table at a land based casino and leave with $500 or more. Hummm, maybe I do know what I am doing?

I dont mean any offense to anyone or anything. I dont mean any offense to the casino or staff.

Does this have to happen several times every single time I play this game?

With an A - 2 on the table there are 3 of 50 cards that can beat me and one of them comes up 1 in 3 hands.

I'm sure you have the stats to back up your claim skiny.
How many A-2 hands did you base your theory on?

Thanks!

Freddy

I will start keeping track of 10 and 11 card spreads and get back to you but anyone I talk to says the same thing. It happens 10x as often as it should.

That would be 14 of 102 cards. 2 decks, 7 2s, 7 Aces and 102 cards left in the deck.

You are correct Zap. With 2 decks it would be 7 in 51. Still a far cry from 1 in 3 or 4.

Given a random game it will happen 14 out of 102 hands
≈ or 1 in 7.3 hands.

According to your experience the actual number is 1 in 3/4
And this is, also according to you, ten times the expected average.

But then again "anyone" says it's like this, so it must be true.

Freddy

I've never played roulette on a real table. Does the same number come up 3 times in a row and then the same number twice very often? Aren't the odds like 1 in 50 thousand something just for the 3 in a row alone?

1x37x37x37 would be random number hitting four times in a row.

Spin the wheel, hit a number, any number.
The odds of doing that is 1 in 1.

Now hit that same number twice.
The odds of doing that is 1 in (37x37)

Hence 1x37x37.

Freddy

If the odds of hitting it once was 1 in 1 I'd hit the same number every spin.

The odds of hitting any number once is 1 in 37.
The odds of hitting it a second time is x37 and the odds of hitting it a third time is x37

We are talking about hitting a random number 3 times in a row.
Not a specific one.

Freddy

The odds of hitting it the first time was still 1 in 37. Specific or random.

The odds of hitting the same number twice in a row is not 1 in 37.

The odds of it coming up a third time is a bloody miracle.

Covering number 2 gives the highest possible variance on roulette and winning tournaments is all about variance, if you have a T$0 balance after that series of numbers I can understand why you are not winning many tournaments.

That aside, the point is you didn't say before you started spinning: "Lets see if I can hit #2 3 times in a row", you could have hit any number 3 times in a row, starting after any spin and would have considered it a miracle. After each spin there is a 1/37 chance that the next number will be the same as the previous. Yes, the chance of hitting 3 #2s in a row is 1/37*37*37, but the chance of hitting any number 3 times in a row is 1/1*37*37, and also your screenshot has a total of 11 chances to produce a series of 3 numbers in a row, which puts it closer to a 1 in 100 chance to get a screenshot like that.

You have absolutely no idea what numbers I covered. My chips are off the table.

Take one die and see how long it takes to roll the same number 3 times in a row.

Now try it with a die that has 37 sides.

Fact is hitting the same number 3 times in a row IS a bloody miracle whether you want to admit it or not and hitting the same number twice in a row shouldn't be averaging 1 in 15 or 20 spins on a regular basis.

By the way.... In the last Red Dog tournament I had 6 ten or eleven card spreads. I lost half of them. I'm still keeping track.

The chance to roll the same number three times in a row on a 6 sided die is 1 in 36. The chance to roll 3 sixes in a row is 1 in 216, do you see the difference? The same applies to roulette.

I don't need to see your chips to see that you were not covering #2 because there is no way you could have a 0 balance after those numbers hitting if you were.

I understand exactly what you're saying. Now take a die and try to make it happen.

By the way, when I play roulette #2 almost never comes up.

Maybe once in 100 spins.
