I did get something - $25 from Jackpot Capital with a huge WR and I managed to cash out, so I guess that's something. Oh yeah and Palace of Chance sent me a mail with a FREE $100!!!! Lol, yeah I know.

But nothing from anyone else, I'm not a high roller so I doubt I'll get any goodies. Maybe Babs will send me a cookie? :D

Im far from a high roller. Im a consistant roller but a low roller. They like the everyday $15-$20 depositor as much as the $500 plus once a week person.
 
I'm still waiting for my car with the BIG red ribbon on it, :D...I didn't get any christmas gifts but I did get a thanksgiving basket, I don't expect any more X-mas gifts and I'm glad to say I don't want any, I'll BUY my own with the money the casino's would have gotten, ;)

Actually it doesnt show the whole thing because there is a row of stuff in between like bavarian choc mint truffles, almond rocha type candy but fancier, toffee short breads, toffee cookies, sweet georgia brown brownie cookies, ghiardela(sp) choc bar, a holiday box and peanuts

See..Its kinda like that type of comment that takes the giving part out of Christmas because its not about the gift, that's why I didnt feel it necessary to compare. But then again, some people do and think its fun so I thought "what the heck" thats what the thread is about.

I would of been happy with a pack of gum because I was brought up not to expect anything from anyone so when you do get something its appreciated. I love it and wouldnt trade it for anything else I could of gotten.
 
Babs, I thought it was a great gift from 3Dice, hell most casinos don't give you Jack Schitt for Christmas or even bother to wish you a Merry Christmas.

The 3Dice "Christmas Gift" was a very thoughtful gift of Enzo to do this for Babs or for anyone else that receives something. No matter the content or the size of the gift and I'm sure the High Rollers get different gifts than us Low Rollers but it's the thought that counts and that is what matters here. Awesome job there on Babs gift Enzo...:thumbsup:
 
Thats lovely for you Babs. In my opinion a gift is a wonderful incentive to keep depositing as well as making a person feel like they are a valued customer.

I have deposited the eqivalent of a modest new car this year in my estimation at 3Dice so i have my fingers crossed tightly.... they have always treated me well tho.

I received very nice no deposit bonuses from Ruby Spin and Mummys Palace Group which can be redeemed new years day in the mail yesterday in nice christmas cards which gave me a very warm and fuzzy feeling :thumbsup: and that is why i keep going back
 
just think we all deposit over the year $10s $100s $1000s then at christmas we wonder what we might get as a present from the casinos, $25 $50 $100 and when we do we feel quite happy, me included,
why dont we just save what we would have deposited over the year and give it to ourselves as a christmas present, im sure it would come to alot more than the $$ the casino send us, its funny how the mind of a gambler works.

Our hobby is gambling and that hobby is expensive. If you spend money on another hobby thats' expensive like boating or if you choose to buy CD and DVD's every day at your local musice store...do you expect a gift from them?

There is something about gamblers that feel entitled to fancy gifts just because they choose to deposit their money and take a chance. Do you get free lottery tickets or a christmas gift from your local lottery place if you buy tickets every single day from there

Interesting thought...but saving our money to get it back in the same way is not much fun now is it?? And to have to have no hobby to enjoy while waiting 12 months to get this gift, would be truly agonizing for the year..so lets be happy and enjoy ourselves each and every deposit we make thoughout the year! Why go through the pain of denying ourselves this joy? :D We don't want to become miserable old coots now do we by not doing what we enjoy?

Thats like saying we are going to save ourselves for the whole year and not have sex, but boy will we be a lot happier when that one and only day rolls around when we do.. Yep, that will make you a miserable old coot for those 12 long waiting months..

Ohhhh Really Rob? They go by a whole year? No wonder why I got a nice present. I dont deposit alot every day but I still deposit every day. I think High Rollers deposit alot at one time but not everyday right?

I always thought high rollers spent thousands a day because of the picture I got when I went to the Tropicana. I see guys spending $30K an hour (seriously) and then say "dammit, I lost this much this morning" Or are those Whales? I thought whales had to spend one million in a trip. Who knows, Im sure online is totally different than land based lol

Im assuming only US players get these things? Im a looooong way away from the EU so Im figuring thats why I dont see anything like that, or maybe I dont deposit enough.

I have to admit I dont play as much as I used to as my money just doesnt last long enough and the wins are too far apart, and the perks (bonuses, etc) arent nearly as good as other casinos I play at. Enzo and the gang have always been very friendly and helpful, its just that they dont keep offering reasonable incentives to come back over and over again.

I would also qualify my comments by stating that Ive never been sent anything like a gift basket from ANY casino EVER, so the next one I get will be the first :D

The slots and animations are first class (except for the last 2 released which I dont like much) but, with things financial such as they are, I want a bit of extended play for my pennies.

I jus need to put my two cents in as well about this casino.I have not recieved any christmas anything from them and i just looked at my account and counted 22 deposits this year(not alot but all between 40 and 80$)and never cashed out and never got anything more than a 15% bonus:eek2:


i never say much about this casino, but i finally need to speak up a little.I would not want the world handed to me ...but after that many deposits and all i get is a 15% bonus twice and that is it.This casino is really going to have a hard to staying a float if this is what there true colors are.

Congrats to everyone that received or will receive any presents from the casinos. I do most of my playing at one place and I don't believe they do anything special. (kind of sucks but I still like the place and spend quite a bit) I think if they take the time to send you anything that is fantastic. Just makes you feel special. Nice job Enzo. I win more at one than the other two, but thats just the way it is, as far as freebies, I get given them often through the year (not giftpacks) but "no deposit cash bonus'es". Its always been my feeling, not to say about this, I dont think its fair on the site, no other players, no one but the site and I know what I deposit, and no one but the site knows what every one of there players deposit.

I think its just great a casino rewards there players with something like this, but I really think a personal thanks to them would surfice, now why I say this is and I really hope I make sense, say you have 3 players A, B and C.

A deposits a great deal, and gets a gift, Player B thinks they deposit a great deal too, but they dont get a gift, only the site knows that player B deposits far less than player A, but the casino cant say anything. Player C is one of those that feels hard done by, every time they deposit and dont cashout, and we all know those players exist, they expect something for nothing all the time. They dont get a gift either and are not happy others have.

How hard in actual fact does giving gifts from a Casino, actually become, maybe this is why it is being seen less and less. Its human nature that if someone gets something someone else wants it too.

I really hope someone understands what Im saying.. if not apologies in advance.

I get what your saying because we do see alot of people thinking they should get something because someone else did. I had my first two children a year and two weeks apart. So when they had a birthday when they were younger I had to get them gifts twice. At the time they were too small to understand why their sister was getting something and they weren't. But we are not toddlers anymore. We trust the casinos we play at with a great deal of money and a fair chance to win more why should we not trust them to be fair minded in their gift giving. (If they choose to give gifts) Not saying they owe us anything either way.

a good point too Michelle, and I hope the majority would feel that way, but I have a feeling that not all would. A few comments on msn are actually what made me start thinking about all of this.

A persons say "I spent so much money this week at a casino" and spends $40Another person says the same and spends $500.

Thats why I was interested to see what Rob termed as a Highroller. Im positive you could ask 20 different people and they would come back with a few different answers

A person I know said to me, hymph I bet I dont get anything, I know for a fact they deposit maybe $50 a month, so my thoughts would be no, you probably wont, but in the same breath, they see this as a lot. And worthy of something.

I do beleive I deposit a lot, but never would I expect something, and of course I live in the far whoppie whops, post would be rather extreme I think.

remember a gift is a gift. It really shouldn't matter to the one handing out gifts whether a potential receiver expects that gift, is entitled to a gift or actually receives that gift. I would think that the gifter is doing it to thank a person for doing what they do well (deposit).

Now the "not a gift because you earn loyalty comps and stuff" rewarding for deposits and play would seem in the casino spirit, as different from how this thread got started. It went something like, I wonder what Santa is bringing me and I'm worried cause time is short. LOL This to me is fun and makes me smile and chuckle. So in a nutshell, if one expects a "gift," maybe it's not a gift they should get, since loyalty comp program benefits are rewarded usually when demanded.

So in a smaller nutshell, enjoy any true monetary gift you may receive this year from anyone who wants to give a gift because they just want to give a gift to anyone they should be able to give a gift to, possibly because they feel like it, maybe.

I am sure I am not doing this right, but I have spent the last 20 minutes reading everyone's thoughts on Christmas gifts from our fave casino. Being that Enzo is the only owner/mngr that I know, I can just picture him sitting back and reading our posts and laughing his azz off. I certainly can't and won't try to speak for anyone but myself. But. I like Babs, was brought up to truly appreciate whatever we received- and if we weren't as appreciative as we should have been, we NEVER mentioned it. So, whether 3 Dice chose to send me a gift basket or $100 no wr- I will be grateful .And as of Jan 1st I will start another yr of spending more money than I can afford and hoping that at least I get a gift basket after 12 months.
