Ok I know its been a sticky topic past little while with 3dice. But im wondering am I the only one that is curious why they set up their bonus system the way they do. They state its based on a 10 days worth of deposits and this is awarded at the end of the month. What if you can only deposit for the first 2 weeks of the month via the means they do use for depositing. This leaves the player with first level bonus of 15% max 5 dollars. Now if you could work it out to deposit on the last 10 days of the month it seems your bonus levels are much higher. At least with much of the mg casinos they have 4 or 5 days you add your deposits up for a 50% match your choice when to claim it. Rtg games
seem to when the mood hits them award you for your past months deposits.
So i guess what im asking is i take it this casino only seems to award players that make their deposits towards the last 10 days of the month as if you miss a time frame at all you loose those little stars one by one.

That seems that was the case with my account there for the month of September since I only made the majority of my deposits during the first half of the month and as such my account was downgraded from 5 star silver to 4 star silver...:mad:

So it appears that your account can change every 10 days...I'm glad Harrah's land based casino does not treat their good players like this...I've been a VIP player with Harrah's now for the past 12 years and have went months without going to one of their casinos but they never downgraded my status there though !!

Hopefully if everything works out ok we will be able to play at Harrah's and the other land based casinos online in the near future...:thumbsup:
 
I gotta admit that I haven't made up my mind yet about their bonus system myself. Mind you, I'm not really a big enough player to judge fairly one way or another.

You're right Jas, maybe we can get Enzo to explain it in a post. I actually asked about it myself yesterday...but God, don't ask me to repeat it, lol.
 
Ive been looking at my account every 10 days to try to figure this out myself. Im not sure I get it yet either. This is what happened and maybe it can shed some light on how it works because my levels flucuate so much

At very first: I started at Silver *** because they happen to start it when double dice was gonna hit so I was depositing way more than I usually do

10 days later: I was at Silver* Thats because the 10 days following the double dice hit I didnt deposit as much so my level went down and since I was on a winning streak it continued to be a silver* because I was playing alot but mostly with their money. My streak ended in September

Mid September: I went to Bronze **** that is because my streak ended and I put myself on a budget plan, I opted for the responsible gaming so I couldnt deposit more than $50 within a 7 day period. I had to watch my money so I thats all I could afford to deposit from mid september until last week

This past week: Silver ** Again I happened on a winning streak so basically I was gaming alot the past 10 days which brought me to silver **

My prediction is that I will be back to bronze in 10 days because I need to watch my deposits again. It literally goes in 10 day spurts. SO...If you are a Silver or even gold and you happen to get sick and your in the hospital for a week, by the time you get out your status will be dropped.

My feelings about it: I think they need to do one of two things. Either go back to once a month like most casinos do because its only fair. I mean we all have weeks that we cant gamble or cant afford to so I dont think its fair to be punished for it and the monthly is more even keeled OR give the player the option to get a week off opt out every month because its basically telling the customer "we like you but if you dont deposit everyday, your points are gonna drop" You guys know how much I love this casino but whats fair is fair. I have never discussed with anyone because I keep forgetting to be honest lol. I go there to gamble and have fun but these flucuations need to stop because like I said, one bad week and poof, your downgraded. Even B&M's give you 3 months to come back and deposit

Like I said, I really dont know myself , thats why I just put my experience so someone could maybe tell from that .

So what your saying Rob is that every 10 days they look at the last 30? well I mean, thats what your saying the email says lol. THen whats the point of changing your status every 10 days?
 
it reads to me that they are basing your
bonus on every 10 days of play
an since it falls down in the last 10 days of the month
an is higher at the beginning of the month
is when alot of people get their pension an SS checks
an that explains why alot lapse in the end of the month
this is IMO a crock
that is why I uninstalled
as Enzo has been asked on many occasions to
come an explain the bonus but some 1
else always fills his shoes no this is not
a attack on any 1 just what seems to happen

Im not sure he will because this post is in the attic. Maybe if its moved to online OR bonus issues? They usually dont come in the attic because its usually about general subjects. I will certainly tell him its in here if you want me to though because Id like a better explanation myself. THey atleast took away those scratchcards so thats a good start lol
 
I've noticed that Enzo is usually in chat in the mornings, and that's sometimes til lunchtime or more.... I know there's a time difference for us all but lunchtime to him is about morning time for the U.S. I think:eek2:

More so or not it is up to the casino if they wish to offer loyalty bonus to accounts or free chips and that is fully understandable. Now with saying that when a casino offers players rewards so to speak at least for me it should be fair across the board, what difference would it really make if a player deposited lets say 200 at the top of the month with no rewards, and another player deposits 200 at the end of the month they now have a loyalty bonus that is larger and a 250 tourney to join. This in turn for a lot of low rollers would mean they would hold off to deposit towards the end of the month to get more for their deposit. And we all know 3dice games are high variance heck even their free spins most times are far and few and payout is low. Thats not the issue though im looking at lower rollers looking for a little more for their deposit when their games is of high variance.

Please max move to complaints or should i just open a new thread as im not complaining just want them to explain how they got to this 10 days deposit issues.
 
Hi Guys,

Before I elaborate on the inner workings of the loyalty system, allow me to note that before anything - whenever you feel unhappy, uncomfortable or annoyed with anything at 3Dice - please do contact our support department. (Informal on the player chat - via live chat - or via email.). As we try to build an automatic system that makes as few mistakes as possible, and makes the job of the operators easier - they can still always review and correct the results produced by the automatic system. It is by far the most effective way of getting these little annoyances out of the way - and it will attend our technical staff to the problems the automatic system still may have.

Before I elaborate on the new system, let me explain what was wrong with the old one. The biggest problem with it was "winner comping". Especially on the high variance machines we offer, winners tend to generate much more playthrough than less lucky players do. So in the old system we could have one lucky player depositing 100/week, winning, saving lots of points and getting lots of bonus. Another player making the same type of deposits, but less lucky, would generate hardly any points and get hardly any bonuses. I think it is obvious that - although it was directly linked to playthrough - this was not an ideal system. It is this problem of "winner comping" that was the primary motivation to change the system.

In the new system, play is measured in blocks of 10 days. Every 10 days the system looks at your last 3 blocks (so 30 days in total - beginning of month - or end of month doesn't matter). If two of those blocks represent play above your current level, you earn one star. If two of those blocks represent play in the category below your current one you will lose a star.
When you do lose a star, the first block you will still get the promotions from your old level - this way an empty block will indeed show on your status - but wont impact the bonuses you receive. The idea of working with these blocks is that a single win will only 'bump' a single block, and will have no influence on the appreciation of the loyalty of that player. (and so an unlucky and a lucky player that play at the same level are valued equal).

The length of the blocks has been chosen to be 10 so that its possible to move up the loyalty ladder in an acceptable amount of time instead of that taking many months. The downside of such a short period is that the system does indeed move down faster to, and this is one of the aspects we are still working on. Overall, with the same budget being spent on our side we see that indeed more of that is going back to unlucky players and the decrease of "winner comping" is very noticeable. I think in general the new system is definitely a good start, but I'm aware that some players will be 'misjudged' by it, and I can only stress for them to contact support and have an operator make a proper human assessment.

With your help and feedback, I'm sure we can remove some more kinks from the system and arrive at something that provides in a fair and balanced automatic evaluation of an individual player's loyalty.

Most people that deposit tend to do it during
the 1st week of the month as that is when
they get their pension an SS checks
so come the 20th of the month what they have deposited

vanish's as their bulk deposits are made when they have
the cash in hand an when they cant deposit in that last 10 days
then their bonus goes poof

Thanks enzo for responding. Im in the same boat with deposits for the first of the month as i use ewallet. This comes out of one of my bank accounts but its not my main bank account i just didnt feel comfortable using my main one for caisno deposits with ewallet. So on the first of the month i can transfer funds over to use for ewallet. Instadebit comes directly from my main account so i can use this up to 3500 week this is why my deposits on ewallets are lower as not all casinos accept instadebit.
 
I like the fact that you can now cash in 100 loyalty points instead of having to wait till you have 500. That's a biggie to me!

I like this idea good move enzo with allowing us to use our comp points at 100 instead of the 500. Cashing them in gives me a chance to see if the the slots are hitting for a deposit or not.
