3Dice, any good?

3Dice have recently gone crypto only, even on the IOM I can no longer deposit using Neteller/Skrill/EcoPayz.

EcoPayz was the last to go and Anna at 3Dice confirmed they'd been told by EcoPayz they wouldn't service them any longer because of the Curacao licence.

As such I ventured into the world of crypto and set myself up a Coinbase wallet, so now to deposit to 3Dice I buy some BCH and add it to my Coinbase wallet, and then transfer it over to 3Dice using a QRCode and the app on my phone.

I'm intending to make a video about it for my channel as it was quite the faff to get the Coinbase account setup and verified, but once it was all done it works OK in honesty, and I've been able to deposit to 3Dice using crypto without issue.

My point here is that if someone in the UK were to VPN in to 3Dice (from a non-UK IP to get around the geolocation blocking) and deposit using crypto, I think they'd be OK.

One thing I will note is there are fees on the Coinbase side, and crypto is so wildly volatile that the value of your 'investment' will fluctuate in realtime in front of you in the Coinbase app as you process the deposit, plus the blockchain itself can take a fair few minutes to validate the deposit.

To end up with £100 of playable funds in 3Dice, I reckon you'd be looking at a spend of around £105 to cover fees and potential 'investment loss' in the few minutes it might take to get your deposit processed, so it's not without issue. (Although theoretically the value of your BCH might increase as well!)

For me it's worth it though as I like the games at 3Dice and I am heartily sick and tired of a lot of the insane HV stuff that's being churned out by many providers these days, as well as the increasingly widespread gimping of RTPs.

Well VPN would work to get you into the site but they will still run KYC and thats where you get tripped up. So dont think that would work. Unless they dont run any checks if coming in as a crypto player ?

I think though Crypto casinos are going to be more and more of an option in the longer term future for UK players wanting to play outside of the rigid and ridiculous rules now imposed by the UKGC. And some real potential here for the right kind of business who does not run gimped games and offers a legitimate business to really cash in on an increasingly frustrated UK market.

Uk facing casinos are slowly pricing themselves out of the market with the terrible service and awful game returns on offer.

Will be one to watch - looking forward to the video

Well i did re-open my old account which was from the days before the UKGC got going. I did a few deposits using coinbase as my wallet and buying bitcoinCash - the fees are a bit steep and did a withdraw back to coinbase for £400 and after it was verified and converted from bit to £ I was left with £384.41 so quite a steep fee. I know its always changing - but wondering if I am using the best options for Dep & withdraws with the combo of coinbase and BitcoinCash ?

Maybe @ChopleyIOM you have some idea on this ?

cheers

Ahhh yes I haven't got as far as withdrawing yet, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!

I play at 3Dice very differently to how I play at other casinos, (where I'll readily make a withdrawal back to my card/Paypal at the end of a session if I've shown a modest profit), not least because fees have always been an issue, even going back to the Neteller and EcoPayz days, as such I only tend to withdraw when the amount is a fairly decent chunk, otherwise I just let the balance roll over from one month to the next in my personal safe, as balances in the safe can be used to claim VIP bonuses and suchlike.

I guess it depends what you think your play pattern will be, and I understand the thinking that a win isn't a win unless it's withdrawn back to the depositing method (and that's what I do at all other casinos), but at 3Dice I'll happily let balances of a few hundred quid sit in there for reasonably extended periods of time, and then generally have a blowout towards the end of a month chasing a progressive which I've never managed to win....

If you ask support at 3Dice they might have some recommendations for you, it was Anna who suggested Coinbase as one of a list of possible depositing options for me, I went with Coinbase sort of at random really, there may be better options!

I would think twice about depositing to 3Dice or any other casino for that matter directly from Coinbase and vice versa as this will most certainly in the long run get your Coinbase account banned. They have a strict policy against funding crypto to gambling establishments.

I would instead use an intermediate wallet such as Blockchain as the middleman. How do I know this? Coinbase banned me a couple years
back because I got careless and lazy.

Just one quick example as a reference:

Yeah had a chat with Support - and it seems like Coinbase is a good standard wallet which dont charge more or less than others. And she did say Bitcoincash (which I used) are actually less expensive than a bitcoin transfer. So in her view the balance seemed the best option, 3dice dont control fees that the ewallets and crypto market will cost you.

It is a volotile market as I was tracking the highs and lows of the varios cryptos. So we will never pay the same fee ever when cashing in your bitcoincash to wallet for withdraw. But with the built in fees from Coinbase it will be quite pricey. Especially as I have been used to fee free deposits / withdraws in the past with debit cards. But I dont play at UK casinos now through my own choice.

And it is good to see the old games still active on 3dice. Support is as good as I remember it - which is excellent all around. And the actual cashout was fast. Just needed to wait a few hours for it to be verified when it landed in coinbase. But you can see how many verifactions you have had so can kind of judge how much longer it will take. Soon as it was done - I cashed in the coins and withdrew to paypal which was instant. Only downside as said was £13 odd quid in fees. That aside when you get the wallet set up which takes a bit of getting used to - but when its up and running its easy and fast most times.

Other downside is I am limited to £300 per month for debit card crypto purchases but can send quick payment from my bank to the wallet - but I have to set it up each time as it wont save on my banking sides due to "security" as its crypto based company im sending to.

But still good to be back at 3dice - reminds me of how casinos in the Uk used to be ;-)

I buy at Coinbase and then transfer it to a wallet and then to 3Dice.
Bitcoin is very expensive to send so i buy BitcoinCash now instead.
can I ask which wallet do you use for transfers from Coinbase ? also what method do you use if you withdraw from 3dice ? can that go straight to your wallet and not coinbase ?

thanks )

Thanks I will check out BRD

But using cryptos for online gaming is a gamble within a gamble. Withdrew £840 last night from 3dice
and at the moment if I cash out inc fees etc i can £701 !!! Which is a huge hit. Looking at the trends of BCH its been on a downward swing all week. I know its always volotile but trying to work out my sell point aint easy. Its a good easy very safe way to deposit / withdraw from casinos but so far its been really pricey. Will keep watching the BCH price and if it gets back to around 780 I would take the loss and cash out.

The wildly fluctuating value of crypto is certainly an issue, I've seen the amount I can DEPOSIT let alone withdraw decrease in the time from me buying BCH to making the deposit to 3Dice :D

This is partly why I like to use my personal safe there and just let balances roll over from one month to the next unless I get to a nice solid chunk worthy of a withdrawal, generally if I get to £1000 I'll make a withdrawal. (Which doesn't happen very often but is nice when it does.)

I have heard rumours that Kyoko's Quest is being remade (finally!) and that there's also a new videoslot on the horizon.

Yeah well maybe I should have used the wallet but at some point withdraw would be needed if sitting on funds won.
And then the risk of taking a hit. The fees for me at the moment on the crytpos are too high so have pulled back from depositing.

No reflection on 3dice - great casino - good games and excellent support with super fast withdraws. But loosing £££ on each withdraw plus the fees to deposit is making it restrictive for me at the moment.

I have a few 100 in a crypto wallet and am kind of playing with it to see if i can make on it. Market right now is super volatile though with not many upswings the past month. Wish 3dice could find another deposit solution though but think its a difficult one for them.

So almost 30 days in and my overall RTP is around last 30 days 75%

Around 15,000 spins with average bets of 5 dollar on video slots.

Around $20,000.00 in loss.

I am not happy with the result at all, I expect to lose in the long run but to have dead spins after dead spins in row at normal range is scary and I don't want to compare minimum bets with $5 bets as it definately feels dirrefent payout % for higher bets.

last 10 bonus round been 1 - 15X

At this ratio, scratch cards from the store have perhaps better payouts imo.

I am not giving up just yet, hopefully something turns around.

BTW, My RTP on classic slots is at 60%.
your payout % is definitely not changing depending on the amount of your bet. it just seems that way because you're going through your bankroll quicker when you're betting more each spin.

Yeah I got one too :) I started playing here again about 5 days ago. Anna also put my VIP back to silver 3 which is what I usually do maintain. That is my ideal level too :) Perfect for the achievements too :)

How are you guys playing in the UK? VPN and bitcoin wallets? Seems like a massive faff to me although I would like to visit 3dice again like the old days.
Although, I have to say I find the music of Enchanted Spins freakishly scary. It's a weird one to describe, the music on an analytic level is just a nice major key ditty, by and large. However, in my head it's some kind of 'nice nightmare' music, offering friendliness and sinister in equal measure!

Do you have an account already at 3dice? If so, you do not need to use a VPN lol Just goto this url

and login. And your all set. Then if you want to deposit the only options would be bitcoin or getting broker from someone via PayPal. Or I use Flexepin. That requires me to Buy Flexepin vouchers in CAD on Dundle, yes fees are not nice but it is not too bad compared to bitcoin fees and the risks involved with bitcoins lol. Then when you got the code, just copy the code to clipboard and then connect to a Canadian VPN server. I use ExpressVPN, then just log back into 3dice and goto cashier, deposit and click felexpin and paste the voucher code in the box and click validate. Then just wait about 10 seconds for it to validate it and click the confirm button and it then credits it to your account.

PP brokers is probably the better method now though but that also can be risky if some people are bad people and do refunds. So you really gotta be careful when you broker too when you have won for that reason. Many people have complained some have done this to them and It does get those people banned from 3dice too. So please do not under any circumstances ever refund or reserve any transactions to another player at 3dice :)

But then on the Flexepin, you only need to connect to the Canadian VPN server to claim the voucher on 3dice site. Once it has been claimed and credited to your balance, you can disconnect the VPN again lol. But 3dice do allow us to use VPN's though :)

I hope this helped anyway :) Hope to see you back in chat soon

It really is the most trustworthy Curacao casinos and the only one I will trust.

I do have an account at 3dice from years back. Thanks for the helpful reply, and the detail you went into! I have to say though it's exactly the lengthy process that I was hoping to avoid. I'm wasn't even sure if you are technically allowed to play at 3dice from the UK? Maybe I'm wrong on that front but I'd hate a big win to be held up for investigation etc.
I'm going to avoid bitcoin for as long as I can, which is a shame as I like 3dice's customer facing loyalty programme and if I played my normal gambling usage solely at their casino I'd be getting quite a good loyalty level given time.
