32Red's Casinomeister's Freeroll - 26 February - Sunday

Ok, I am really clueless about this, so please bear with me ...

Downloaded the 32Red Poker software, signed in with my usual 32Red Casino details and created my alias (though Macgyver was already taken ). Found the freeroll folder and put in the password for 'Meister Freeroll. Did the buy-in, though it said I had $0.

Is that it? Just wait until Sunday, log back in to the same freeroll screen, and have some fun and trash-talking?

If you want to be sure that you have been entered to the tourney, load 32Red Poker again, select Multi-Table Tournaments, select Freeroll, select 'Meister Freeroll table, click the blue Tournament Lobby button, then check to see your chosen alias is there. If it isn't, click Join/Leave and go through the process again.

Seeing as I'm being so helpful I shall expect you to dump me all your chips.

I'm not in this one and that's fine. I'm sure Cslate and other members who did not have the points to enter this time will have plenty of opportunities to play in the future tournaments. I actually prefer the setup done this way.

This time it is for the members who contribute to the forum and make it a place worthy of daily visits for members like me and Cslate. I'm sure you agree with me Cslate, that this is a far more important than one freeroll missed?

Cslate, did you read what Bryan wrote? The 40 rep points just happens to be the criteria for this particular freeroll. I'm sure there will be many others, and maybe even ones that long-time posters at this site won't qualify for. Maybe he'll have one for people from Nova Scotia. And if that happens, I certainly won't be crying about it...I'd wish you the best of luck. Maybe he'll make one for members who have under 50 posts, who knows?

Wouldn't it be better to go by a case by case basis? Seems a little unfair to the ones that have been here quite awhile and have 100+ posts...that shows they're definately active in the forums and not just here for a freeroll.

re: my earlier post, sorry, I posted that before I read the whole thread (duh). At least I know now that there's going to be different requirements for future ones.

ps: Is the point system going to be awarded for another big freeroll at the end of the year like 2005?

pps: What would people think about instead of straightup buy-in tourneys, having a CM poker league through 32red? Points leader could recieve prizes or whatever at the end of the year too

No problem...at least we're not greedy people that want to keep the entrants to a bare minimum...lol

And you should get the PW way before the tourney starts. I PM'd Bryan a request earlier, and he had it to me within an hour!

After receiving the invitation email (thank you!) i downloaded the 32Red poker sw and registered. Of course, it automatically logged me in under my old Prima alias which is different from my ID here. CM, is that info you will need just to make sure it's not a case of password abuse?
