Hi All,

All bonuses have been paid. Hope it brings you luck.

Marie, there's a 5x wagering on the bonus... nothing too difficult :)

Working on this months Slotsmeister now, what I can divulge is that we are offering places into a 1million Slots Tournament for winners in July - watch this space!

Mark

5x wagering

that $100 I won lasted around 2.5 hours so even 5x is high enough. Payouts on Microgaming network casinos made me so sick lately that I will never deposit on some Microgaming based site ever. Not to mention that I have not won free spins in those Avalon exclusive tournaments for 2 weeks straight.

Hi All,

We're almost there with the new leaderboard for July. New details below:

1. Leaderboard reset to "more points" wins the most free chips.
2. Number of spins and number of winning spins now added together to determine the points.
3. 4 x Secret prizes added to the leaderboard (indicated by an asterix).

Just in case point 2 needs clarification -

Your points will be generated by adding up your total number of spins, plus the total number of winning spins that you have made. So let's say you make 1,000 spins and win something on 500 of them, your total points will be 1,500. I think this adds a bit of luck element to the competition - I hope you agree!

Hope that all makes sense! Leaderboard should be live soon and will include all play from midnight last night.

That's slots for you.

I reckon you did well! My 50 lasted around ooooh... 15 mins? But that's nothing unusual for me or slots in general. The deposit shortly afterwards went south just as quickly... I'll never learn.

Another day I'll hit something nice and it'll last a lot longer.

5x is EXTREMELY reasonable for such generous prizes.

Anyone who gets annoyed on the days that slots don't pay back should stick to Blackjack or something more 'predictable' with a lower house edge! There's something about the prospect of a mega return for very little outlay that keeps slot player coming back for more...

The new format sounds exciting again Mark. There's no way I'll keep up with the mega spins of the champion slot-jockeys around these parts - so I'll hang on in there for a "mystery prize" :D

Well my hundred dollars lasted me until now. I had many hours playtime and alot of fun... however I do wish I had been able to cashout ;-) dont even know if I ever managed to wager the bonus...
Anyways - thanks again!

Slots

I play slots almost exclusively when I`m in casino but last couple of months on microgaming only one time did I play on slot which was paying something, it was Isis and it went pretty quick in negative again. Tried different slots but nothing, of course I had winning spins but they don`t cover for loss. This is not exclusive to microgaming, im guessing it is because of recession, but on mg network it has become normal not to win anything. I think that peak balance on all mg casinos never went over 1.5x times starting balance and that was only in the beginning when there was still a lot of wagering to be done. Thats why I said 5x is high enough for me, it is not high playthrough in normal conditions but I dont think that I made more than 3x times bets with that 100.

Thanks again for a great tourney 32Red. My $32 prize went quickly, but my $32 deposit and match bonus resulting in a $600 win ($550 withdrawal) put me on the Slotmeister board with a few thousand spins.

Winning spins being a bonus is kinda cool...makes those games where you bet 15 cents and win 6 count more. And I adore secrets...can't wait until next month!

Not quite, the choice of slots will influence how much "punch" you get per spin played. Slots rich in naked spins would not be worth playing as much as those with many small wins. Unfortunately, the newer slots are not so easy to set up to run for ages on autoplay, but these are the slots most worth playing.

The 4 mystery prizes certainly give some points to aim for, other than the top. What these prizes turn out to be could leave some players sniggering at the winner who have only managed to get 250 credits.

With reference to the big 1 Million tournament, this is being offered over the entire Microgaming network, and it is possible (well pretty certain actually) that players who play a fair bit will win more than one entry in the final, these being at different casinos.

If 32Red give me a free entry because of a high position in the slotsmeister, and I get given another elsewhere, or even several others, how on earth will the MGS tournament software handle it?

As it stands, it looks like sjn will get 250 credits, and I will get 150 & a mystery prize. I may even go for a lower placed mystery prize, since I have my suspicions.........;)

Care to comment eh Mark:D

Hi There VWM!

Yeah, I can confirm that at least one of the 'secret' prizes is entry to the 1m Tournament. We'll also be running additional promotions on Dash and 32Red to give these seats away - and I asked MG the same question regarding MPV aliases. Their response was:

If a player has already been entered into the final using a different account ID we will arrange for the link between his second account and his MPV alias to be severed and he will be able to create a new alias on his second account ID. Thus allowing the player to be entered more than once into the final but with different aliases appearing on the leaderboard.

Seems they have it covered!

Well, this is VERY interesting, since this is a clear violation of MGS tournament terms, which state that one player may only have ONE alias across ALL MGS casinos.

I have spotted other casinos deciding to allow, or even force, players to have a different alias, and there have been complaints about it being pretty obvious that there were cases of "multi-alias fraud" on the system.
MGS have long refused to comment on these issues, but it seems that all along MGS have been CONDONING this multi-aliasing for some while, and for unspecified circumstances.

This would explain why I CANNOT use my normal alias at Ladbrokes, who at the time refused to explain the contradiction between them saying I have to create a different one, and the MGS terms and conditions forbidding it.

Once these links are severed, and players allowed to play this big tournament from several accounts, these lucky players will continue to have multiple aliases that could be used on other tournaments, especially those that offer free entry once per alias, or those with limited rebuys.

I have ALREADY been granted a free pass to the FINAL, so if I win another, it looks like I WILL be able to play twice, or three times etc...

All very interesting, and something that some might consider unfair.

Entering the Gran Slam tournament with multiple aliases might not be that useful as the tournament seems to have 999 re-buys. Entering with second alias only saves one re-buy ($20.00) and I assume it takes some effort & cost to get additional entry to the final anyway.

Only $20 rebuy for a 1M top prize:confused:

I have seen tournaments with lower top prizes with a rebuy of over $100.

The final is in October, so where is this detail listed?

So many rebuys, so relatively cheap, and a top prize so great, could mean many players will try to buy their way to the top. If they have the stamina to have 1000 tries, it will cost them $20,000, but might give them a very good chance of getting more than this back. I expect most players will make far fewer, if any, attempts through rebuying.

Just choose the Grand Slam tournament in the tournament lobby and choose the last tab to see the tournament rules.

There seems to be only 3 continues ($20 each) with half the coinage compared to the first round, so it is important to get a very good first round. Interestingly you have full one hour to complete the first round so one could aim for larger wins for example by playing fewer than maximum 15 lines.

And since the game is Tomb Raider I, which is low-variance, I anticipate that there will be a huge battle at the top where a very small difference in win box could determine the winner.

Nice of you to come into the office on a Saturday Mark!! Most casinos would say you're SOL til Monday. So thanks for that...much appreciated and pretty much what we've come to expect of 32Red.

LOL....I hope the pub is an outdoor one overlooking the ocean? Now I'd forego spinning slots for that scenario.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :)

P.S. - I had been trying to get into 10th place on the 30th...and wouldn't you know, that was the time I had the best gaming session all month on a $20 deposit, lol. I ended up spinning way, way over. Congrats Trezz on the entry and extra chips...and congrats to all winners. Where was VWM this month?

Hi Slotster!

Casinomeister: There needs to be a "NO THANKS" button please; specifically for the poor drenched British having their nose rubbed in it by people in far more 'August-Like' climates. :p

Thanks for the price - I love this! =) And by the way, the weather here sucks but in 2 weeks I am going on holiday to turkey so I might get warm there - just over 40degrees celsius today *hehe*

i signed myself up but how come my name is not on the scroller? :(

Hi Miranda,

Could you please PM me your account no and I will look into this for you?

Hee Hee, sorry - couldn't resist.

It was *warm* over the weekend in the UK wasn't it?

Mark

Actually, maybe I shouldn't have made these comments.

Oh well. If my withdrawals start taking a week to process, I guess it was my own fault.

Hey, Casinomeister can you remove my comments about the ashes?:)

Hey KK,

Full info here:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
but in brief, every spin of a slot machine (any stake) will give you 1 point.

The more points, the bigger the prize.

To prevent abuse, when I come to pay out the top 32 (if we get that many!) I will manually check that the average bet on slots in June is over 0.10. People with an average of less than 0.10 will forefit the bonus.

Mark

PS- Second prize is 320 free chips, but good luck, maybe you'll get 1st position.

i just read this, i am second on the leaderboard but i always have betted 9 cents because that's all i can afford to play. i don't have much money to play with so i have to try to play with 20 euro as long as possible that's why i bet 9 cents. infact i bet low at every casino i play on just because i can't afford to bet high . i always deposit 20 and my goal is to bring that 20 up to 100 . needless to say 9 out of 10 i loose :( so i am not going to get any price now? :eek2: seems a bit unfair that only people with money can win a prize because in order to bet high you need money :eek2:

hello miranda, out of curiousity i checked out the link that was here for the tourny...i noticed that u and 3 others have stars next to ur name..u might want to inquire as to what this is for..

good luck to u all

Miranda, are you playing in euros? I'm not sure, but I always thought it was 10 cents, so if you are playing .09 euros, you might be okay.

Perhaps Mark can sort this for us all in this thread. But that rule has been there since I've been playing, and if it does disqualify you this month, next month you can play a little differently. It has to be an average, so if you make one 20 cent bet for every 10 9 cent bets you make, you will be on average.

There's still a week left...you might be able to re-qualify yourself by making bigger bets if you have not met the criteria.

well i have 20 left on my moneybookers that i was going to save for next month but i could play with it. the problem is if i now bet 18 cents it might still not be enough because i made around 50.000 spins with only 9 cent bet. i was playing thunderstruck and i kept getting free spins and my balance was going up and down like a jojo for hours, that's why i am so high ranked in the list. 20 euro at 18 cent a spin is +/- 111 spins wich probably isn't enough to balance :(

Actually, Miranda, this rule disadvantages those of us who bet MORE than .10 average... because no matter you spin at .10 or $10, you only get 1 point.

I'm on the leaderboard this month purely out of luck - but if my wager size was considered I would probably be first.

Hi Miranda,

Sorry for the delay, for some reason I didn't get an email to inform me that you had posted in the thread.

The 0.10 minimum bet rule is in place to prevent slotsmeister players from setting up a machine on autoplay and spinning 000's of 0.01 spins and taking the bigger prizes. I think without this rule it will be impossible for players betting their usual stakes to get anywhere near the top of the leaderboard.

That said, you have varied stakes and are actually not too far away from the 0.10 minimum, I will PM you with your exact figures.

Miranda, are you playing in euros? I'm not sure, but I always thought it was 10 cents, so if you are playing .09 euros, you might be okay.

Hey Jasmine.

The 0.10 minimum is account currency, so whether you are playing in US$, GBP or EUR the minimum is 0.10 chips. This is the easiest way we could implement the leaderboard to automatically check the averages at the end of the month.

I'm on the leaderboard this month purely out of luck - but if my wager size was considered I would probably be first.

Hi Spearmaster,

You make a valid point. Back when we launched Slotsmeister it was debated if we should measure people's bet size, but it was decided that it was fairer - and more anonymous - if it was number of bets, not value.

I am happy to reinvestigate this if everyone agrees that stakes should be measured?

Hi Mark

From my point of view there is no doubt.A combination between measure of bet size and winnings. For sure-the last days of the months will become a thrill...:Read:

The good thing about 32 slotsmeister tourney is you dont have to be a high roller to get a decent result, if it was changed to how large you wager was to climb the leaderboard it would take all the fun out of it and you would only see the high rollers at the top of the leaderboard every month , the way it stands gives everybody a chance, thats why it makes this tourney unique,

i agree people who wager more should get better benifits but there are many other tourneys they can enter with a chance of winning , but there is only one 32Red Slotsmeister Exclusive Tourney where regular non high roller players have a chance of winning,
just my opinion

I believe the reason for this was to give everyone a chance at winning, rather than the biggest gamblers. But naturally your biggest gamblers should also get better rewards...

I think the only way to reward both sides is to use a multiplier for higher bets, for example an average bet of .20 gets 1.05x, average bet of .50 gets 1.1x, and average bet of $1 gets 1.2x - this way everyone still has a good chance but the bigger gamblers get a small additional advantage, rather than a straight measure of money wagered.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining - especially as I haven't played until recently - but of course it occurred to me that perhaps I should've considered lower bets if I was playing for the prize on the leaderboard...
