I'm surprised you haven't worked out HOW I am getting so many spins per hour.

HINT!!! When you play slots with free spin bonus rounds, you LOSE TIME, AND SPINS, since the "free" spins are NOT COUNTED on your score, but still take time to execute on the PC.

It is purely down to the choice of slot game, nothing else. sjn has already revealed his kit, and it equals the speed of mine (might even be better), so I have to look for another tactic.

Last month, I went to around 50,000 and waited. sjn got the jump on me, and the "bug" with the scoreboard not updating gave me a chink of hope, dashed when it was discovered by others too early.

I've got a pretty good idea which type of game(s) VWM is playing, lol. I play them quite often when I want to really try and meet WR. Depending which one you play, and if it's hitting even semi- decent....you can get a ton of spins/playthrough out of them.

I think I grasped you were playing 3 reel slots after searching high and low for the names you put in asterisks.

It's a good tactic to use when you need a number of spins in such a short time, however considering the spin rate you had yesterday it seemed like you had started it then.

My belief - put together by screenshots and other comments you have said - is that you are doing a number of high spins (up to 9 a pop) and then grinding 5p minimum on slots such as Sonic Boom, where there is little to gain by playing two coins.

These are the CURRENT scores for the month of May, prizes to be awarded on 1st June. The competitions run back to back, so as soon as one finishes, the scoreboard resets and starts showing the early scores for the next month.

Hi Everyone,

First time post for me, read the forum for a long time but thought it best to register and take in some of this valuable feedback.

I have dropped Bryan an email to discuss how we can improve this competition, but the database to record the spins has already been programmed so we cant go too far away from the original idea at this stage.

The original plan was linked to amount staked, but I thought that a lot of forum members wouldn't like this personal information to be published, hence the decision for spins, making it a level playing field for everyone, regardless of stake.

How about if we factor in the average stake (calculated over the month), e.g. if someone was to spin at 0.01, if they manage 100,000 spins their points will be 100,000 x 0.01 = 1000 points, where someone playing 1 a spin will get a full 1 point for every spin? This way, the amount staked is hidden, but the points are a good indication?

Totally open to feedback on this, either in the thread of please feel free to send me a PM.

think the current system is the fairest but VWM and SJN will run away with it every month with there 5p shots on sonic boom etc. however good luck to them and as i cant afford to keep up with over 100,000 spins per month I am more than happy to compete for the minor places as a bonus is a bonus but if i can make a suggestion? hows about the top 32 get pitched into a game of skill (poker) for a prize and that way we can also find who is the best instead of the richest. @Jasmine - as far as I know, the leaderboard is now updating 100%, I will check a few account shortly but I dont think there are any suprises this time. Winnit was on the board earlier in the month but think he/she has fell off the bottom.

@Suzy - I love the idea. I'll need to check this with the poker team but I am sure I can arange a $100 freeroll or something for the top 32 spinners. Let me find out when I'm in the office (currently 10.09am here and still lazing on the sofa - don't tell Ed or Pat ) and i'll post a poll to decide when it get's played.

Hi Suzy,

Lol, no, I managed to get off the couch in the end.

The average bet rule of 0.10 applies to all of your bets across the month,

For example - if you have placed 100 bets @ 0.09p (9) and 50 at 0.20p (10) - your total stake is 19 over 150 bets - 19 / 150 = 0.126p average which is fine for the competition.

This would introduce an element of strategy lacking in the current event, and would make it possible to OVERSHOOT, and then have no chance unless others make a similar miscalculation. Currently, it is a fight between me and sjn, and the current format does not seem to have produced any challengers under the "brute force" format of most spins.

Another idea is to use a different game, such as hands played in a card game. Choosing a game WITHOUT "autoplay" would also make quite a difference, even though minimum stakes might be offputting for some.

Classic Blackjack has no autoplay, and also has a low house edge, so players will not lose much, but will have to play every hand in person, a bit like the blackjack races held at Grief Club and 888 (when I played there).

Table Pokers are also an option, no autoplay there either.

For the longer timeframe, perhaps some kind of annual league could be introduced, with monthly results as usual, but some kind of annual prize table for achievment over the year, prizes just after Christmas, when we have just spent everything An annual league would fit well with a strategy competition of reaching a position other than first, but not overshooting. Paying a prize, but also awarding league points for spot on, next nearest (either side), and so on.

Thanks for the suggestions surrounding the prize payouts for the Slotsmeister tournament. There are some good suggestions which I will look at.

As you probably know, June is the one year anniversary of the Slotsmeister so I'll be looking to spice things up a little next month.

The leaderboard will reset as usual on Sunday night with the current allocated prizes, but I will overwrite these as soon as I have paid everyone on Monday morning with the new prizes!

The leaderboard is missing some places at the bottom.

It will be interesting to see what sort of scores are at the top of the leaderboard in a months time as I dont think we'll see 100k+ scores anymore.

VWM and I will have to be more tactical this month rather than the 24/7 brute force spinning that is necessary for the really big scores. My pc will sure be glad of the rest, especially in this hot weather.

No offence to you or Vinyl, but the rest of us were playing for 3rd spot and below. 150K + spins didn't make financial sense, to me at least.

Now it comes down to strategy, not who has the biggest bank. And that is more fun in my opinion. Even if it will mean having to stay up til midnight on the final day of the month

My thoughts:

I wouldn't mess with the new system until at least a couple of months have passed. If the change was gradual, I think more would be taken by it, but if you said that next month stake size would be implemented and almost all games would count, I'd stop playing. It wouldn't be a Slotsmeister if blackjack counted!

Like Jasminebed, I think it would be more exciting if some months the prizes were hidden, along with the highest bonuses moving about. It might not seem overly fair if 32nd spot or whatever happened to pay 250, but it would make things a lot more fun than we've seen in the past few months.

My only concern is that because there will unlikely be 100k + individuals, will 32red be able to afford to keep it running in this way?

My play has been almost zero so far. Mostly because I just haven't had the time yet. And also because I want to see how others play it. A last minute surge is an almost guarantee I think

At least I think it should. I personally "cant" play at penny bets and to leave the slot at autoplay for whole days at minimum bet isnt actually that tempting either. The weightings can be discussed tough, like 1 spin= 2 points and 1 currency wagered= 1 point.

No BJ or Roulette as it is Slotmeister after all.

Will try to rack up more than 200+ spins this month.
