I have guards and CCTV covering the local electric substation, and have welded shut the Virgin Media cabinet. Fuelled by 3K from "a certain 3 reel slot" out of 32Red earlier this month, and expectation of another 3K out of Prime next week, and having some high stakes spins under my belt at 32Red, I am not going to have to surrender at the last minute (pity I couldn't say the same about last month - money all "in the system" & none to deposit in the last hours).


9:45am, and I am trailing by 8387 spins.

Well, to be honest I was astounded, as after 4 hours on Thunderstruck you had edged a little further in front - so I switched to a FASTER slot

***** **** and ****** ***** can give me around 3100 per hour, whereas the Thunderstruck slots are around the 2000 mark. From your progress, I have deduced you have been playing the Thunderstruck slots on autoplay, quickspin, 0 delay, with "stop on free spins" unchecked.

It's an impressive machine, and broadband speed is irrelevant (reliability of connection IS though), but choose a slower slot than me, and I can still kick your a$$ to avenge last month's defeat.

I now expect you to try all the slots to find the fastest ones, but maybe I will switch tactics for March, who knows

I find the Thunderstruck 9 liners slower than they once were. My "new" machine is now 2 years old, bought at the beginning of 2007 to satisfy the voracious appetite of Microgaming casinos for endless Gigabytes of storage, and ever more processor intensive graphics.

I hope to upgrade this machine this year, as I bought it with future proofing in mind. I went all out for the fastest processor available, but accepted the default graphics card and 2 Gig of RAM, and did away with a sound card.
More RAM and a better graphics card should help cure the juddering I get now with MG slots, this wastes time for this kind of event. A separate sound card may also help (not sure really).

A full set of updates should help a great deal, mainly drivers, but this looks to be a long process. I tried just one, and although DELL update finds them, the user has to go through the process of installing it step by step, unlike Microsoft update which "just happens".

One thing that slows down Thunderstruck are the FREE SPINS - they DON'T COUNT for the Slotmeister Surely noone though otherwise

Carnaval is VERY fast, and has NO free spins. It is also lower variance with a mere 5000 jackpot against THunderstrucks 10,000.

But....... it's not Carnaval, nor What A Hoot, nor even 5 Reel Drive, fast they may be, but with a min 25p coin they are pretty pricey for 100,000 spins. Worse, they are the old WEIGHTED video slots, so you really have to play all 9 lines to get 95% payback.

Amazing advances, but you have to buy sometime, and will always have an out of date PC by the time you get it. Before I bought this one, I nursed my old Windows 98 machine to it's very limits (almost, could have gotten a 700 Mhz processor to replace the 500Mhz one, but would have needed a new motherboard to support it as it turned out. Could NOT fit graphics cards, since on board version would always override it (crap motherboard design) unless one took a soldering iron to the motherboard, with the risk of wrecking the whole thing.

I intend the same with this new gambling PC (the old one STILL works, but is on lighter duties). Once I have updated it to the best it could be, I will consider buying the next one when there is both a significant advance, and an identifiable advantage to me, in upgrading.

I do not currently believe MG casinos or MG tournaments will work faster with a fast PC (I know for a FACT MG tournaments will not be faster, as MG introduced "crippleware" to prevent this a few months after they were launched).

Do you have a digital camera?

If so, you can take a picture using "close up" (no flash) in good lighting conditions, such as near a window (during the day, obviously).

The document can be placed on a plain sheet of light paper, and the picture can then be downloaded to the PC. If cropped, ALL edges of the document must show, with a small border of the background sheet of paper also showing - this shows it is a genuine photo.

Unless you have unusual circumstances surrounding your status, this should not be a problem, and 32Red are not going to start messing you around without a damn good reason. The 32Red rep Mark (Slotmeister organiser) could help if you have any problems waiting for access to a scanner, and want to try this approach.
