32Red club rouge (the color)

I don't think you understand the word "rogue" correctly.

"Rogue" means "bad".

32Red was named Casinomeister's Best Casino 2003 & 2004, it isn't "rogue".

Now, sometimes people misspell "rogue" as "rouge", and "rouge" = "red".

Rouge

Clubrouge membership is not so easy. You have to be an active player, and only some players get invited. Dont really know the requirements but playing often seems like a good idea if you want to become clubrouge.

From a previous thread, what Ed Ware had to say about Club Rouge membership criteria:

Ed Ware said:
Club Rouge is a programme we run to reward players for their patronage at the casino. We have avoided introducing hard and fast criteria for membership as we like to use Club Rouge as a way of saying thank you to players from a number of perspectives. Obviously frequent and high staking players are offered membership, but we also invite big winners and a selection of other players who we (literally) wish to unfurl the red carpet for. I realise that some players may want to have strict guidelines for such a programme but in our view, despite 32Red being a substantial operator, we wish to remain focused on delivering a personal service that can be tailored to suit the player (and isn't necessarily something that is just "easy to administrate" for us). All the senior management here have spent time with the very large betting and gaming companies, and we see our approach to service and support, and how we apply it, as a clear difference. Whether or not this view is on the money is of course for the players to decide.

LOL, far from it, honey.

Something I discovered a couple of days ago: 32Red do not offer default comps! This is quite unbelievable - EVERY single Microgaming casino offers from $1 for $1000 (fair) down to $1 for $5000 (rotten). 32Red do not offer comps of ANY kind of this nature.

This is quite extraordinary. 0.1% comps do not make ANY of the sucky Microgaming games any where near breakeven for the player, yet 32Red manage to be the only MG casino to offer NOTHING in this regard - not even the 0.02% that Fortune Lounge offer!

My jaw nearly dropped off when a CSR told me this the other day.

However, when you think about it, there's not too much to be surprised about: UK B & M casinos treat their players like crap in this regard, too - there is no comp / rating system of any kind. No slot card you can stick in the machine or rating request to the pit boss.

So I suppose this is just another UK casino functioning like all the rest, and reaping the rewards.

You'd expect better from a casino with the reputation of 32R, wouldn't you? :what:
They seem to be extremely generous to those lucky enough to recieve invites to 32 Rouge, but you probably have to wager $10K per month to get one.

I 'd just like to say that 32RED has treated me very well, often giving me susbstantial free chips when I'm on a bad run or other nice gifts delivered to my house.

Just play a lot and you'll get an invite eventually.

Or you play devils advocate and could look at it from another angle and say that the loyal players are the ones who benefit. If you saw the amount of comp points i accumulate in Club Rouge each month you'd probably fall off your chair :)

You'd think so, wouldn't you?

However: When I spoke to the CSR who confirmed that default comps were uniquely not available at 32Red, I gave an example orf a 10,000 monthly player. She was not able to tell me if such a player would get an invite to participate in the comp programme.

In context: a 10,000 BJ player is going to drop 36 a month, assuming he plays the best viper BJ game perfectly. Slots, and that's 500. So let's shoot in the middle and call it 250.

32Red cannot tell me that if I drop 250 a month at their casino, 3000 ($6000) a year, I'll be entitled to comps of any kind.

Seriously, I kid you not:

"Me: I play blackjack.
Me: I earn comp points.
Me: I wager 10,000.
Me: How many comp points do I earn?...
Helen: Can I take your account number please?
Me: And what are they worth?
Me: Not got it to hand.
Helen: We do not offer loyalty points unless you are a member of the Club Rouge
Me: Woooooow.
Me: Are you kidding me?
Me: All MG casinos offer comp points!
Helen: No I am afraid there are no loyalty points here, though we have monthly bonuses"

OK, so a 10K a month player is peanuts for a casino now listed on the LSE, I can appreciate that. 100K then? How much action do they need before I get comps?

LOL.

They can't tell you that as casino policy, so her responses are the typical CYA canned responses. However, I suspect $6000 USD a year would only classify you as being a HR and not be worthy of an invite. Simmo is a member, perhaps he'll give us a round about figure.

I'd like to see the name of this thread edited. It's disturbing to see 32red and "rogue" together.

caruso's right that it is disconcerting that one could play so much and have no guarantee of any comp. As per Ed Ware's quote they do keep their criteria somewhat of a secret.

Once you are in Club Rouge though, the benefits more than make up for the earlier drawbacks. Plus, you get comp like all the other MGs.

I agree with Bruce. I think if your wagering is into 5 figures monthly, you'd get an invite. This is only a guess.

its not the americans that have it wrong...LOL

Variant of color.

and "spelt" is not correct in your sentence either LOL

spelt ( P ) Pronunciation Key (splt)
n.
A hardy wheat grown mostly in Europe

Ah but this leads us into a chicken-and-the-egg scenario Slotchik. We Brits being the chickens and you yanks being the eggs. IE: We were here first. Although, one could argue that our version stemmed from the French word and you guys dropped the "u" cos a) the latin is the same as yours and b) you're not as good as spelling so you make words shorter to ease the pain ;)

And yes, it probably should be "spelled", but you gotta seperate the wheat from the chaff

Actually if you wanna get really confused, the French flag is known as the "Le drapeau tricolore" ("the flag of 3 colours") which uses the latin version of "color" rather than their own!! Work that one out :)

The Hen of course Bruce

And Slotchik, he's just being polite - we Brits all do that just to fit in and make you feel better :D He probably spells "chik" "chick" too when you're not around. Actually he'd probably call you "Slotbird" in fairness. In fact, "slot" being the lazy yank term for "fruit machine", he'd probably call you the pommiefied "fruit machine bird", although shortened to "fruitbird" - and then eventually modified to "fruitbat" for your benefit (as its shorter and easier to wheat) ;)

Anyone who has been a part of this forum for any length of time knows where I stand when it comes to 32Red. How can you put a value on the peace of mind that you have when playing at an online casino that's as straight up and reputable as these guys are? To the critics and the doubters, I will only say this .... the top two men at 32Red are both active members of this board. Instead of complaining and putting forth negative statements about 32Red, I challenge you to send either of these guys a PM with your queries and see for yourself the kind of individual attention and professionalism that sets them apart from the rest. They are Ed Ware, who is the CEO of the company, and Pat Harrison, who is the Operations Manager (known as "Path" on this forum).
