So I received an email about the new game, Stated be one of the first to try, Email states 100% bonus, I log in and its 20% DOTD, I remember bringing this up before and was told I was getting emails on a different day, sO My question IS any body else get the email? that states 100% and what was your DOTD

This is not a major issue, I am just seeing if I am getting late mail again from them,

Also if it is wrong than I could not have stressed more in the last week that theses emails (from most sites) need to be looked at more carefull as 90% of them are wrong, This is across all casinos

I think it's something wrong on the top of your email. It should say New game but it says 100% bonus.

You couldn't read anywhere in the email about the bonus could you?

In mine it said just New game and to be the first to try the new game. I had a 25% today so no 100 for anyone I believe.

It may well of meant to of said that but unfortunate I am just not mind reader, I see 100%

there is 2 screen shots, the line at the bottom (header) states the same as what was in the email, above the log in / forgot username

Like I pointed out many times this week, Email from sites are just not getting double checked, Yes errors happen, But recently thats all there seem to be, This is not pointed directly at 32red but across casino sites in general

Had the same email here buddy, no deposit match what so ever on mine :eek2: Nice one 32Red  You give me an excuse not to deposit with you near enough every week

I received one from 32red bingo as well and its different, So why would I not expect there to be 100%

Identical email here mate and same 20% DOTD as your self. (10% Monday, 50% yesterday if that helps as I took both)

For some reason their emails are directing to my spam again (told yahoo umpteen times 'Its not spam')

Would be nice if the email read' Be the first to try our new games with the 'X' (loyalty/frequency of deposits based) free spins waiting in your account'.

Then again they did take me on that World Cruise and Mark keeps funding my 'Ladies of the Night' habit (no, not the slot and no I didn't miss the 'boy' part out either :p)

Is that the cruise I seen you on :)

If you look above I just added one from 32red bingo, Somebody is obviously edited so I do not understand why not double check

I haven't had any emails from 32Red for years now, and i deposit there a couple of times every week :eek2:

Although I do get emails from 32Red Bingo, where I don't think I've ever deposited

Check your junk folder buddy, mine head there quite often. They are pretty good with the volume of emails IMO one a week usually on 100% DOTD days and then only when a new game is released, other than that don't think I get any.

Got the bingo one too but never deposited there, bingo was my training, now I am a Jedi, its HV slots all the way!

The bingo one goes to junk. But the casino one's don't even to get that far.

I might have missed out on loads of £1000 red letter emails, over the years :rolleyes::rolleyes:

pmsl, can't recall exactly but think I've had ONE all year! - If you discount RLD of £10 (the lowest amount awarded) I think I'm pretty accurate when I say I had erm NONE, lifetime lol!

Mistake, oversight, or deliberate deception. Doesn't matter, it's all against the advertising code policed by the ASA. Casinos are getting lazy and not bothering to double check that their marketing is compliant with legal requirements before it is sent out. Once sent out, the advert has been published, and the ASA can look into it. Usually, it will be a case of the complaint being upheld and a slap on the wrist for the company concerned, but it's something that might make them take checking content before it is sent out more seriously, because repeated failures can incur stiffer penalties.

The online casino industry seems to have fallen foul of the ASA a fair bit, possibly because it's relatively recently had it's remit broadened to cover the internet and email, and before this it was a case of "it's the wild west" when it came to policing internet marketing.

They should honor it when they send something like this out not a lot to lose for them other then I would had deposited £50 right now. Must say very angry had to struggle for last 20 minutes to even get casino started and then getting errors.

Then to see only 20% bonus??? Then trying to get on livechat then error code again and again. Also don't get direct to livechat anymore really annoying.

I must admit only reason I carry on playing now at 32Red is very simple because I have some of the slots I like got far in achievements. Also I know I can play my favorite microgaming slots in full screen without problems. I know at some flash casino you can us zoom etc and get same pleasure now so 32red lose out there as well.

Also did comment many times before in other thread about errors but seem to just being ignored I think even our nice chap Mark has given up on that front. Only thing I see left for 32Red in my eyes is a great rep and one of the best in the industry if not best is Mark. But to be honest I can give a cats p.... about 32red anymore todays was the last straw. I have started really enjoying playing at Videoslots with all the nice extra gifts you get and many chances of getting something back for your playtime something you also don't see anymore at 32red.

Bye 32Red it was a pleasure to be a loyal customer and player since you opened your doors. But that time has now gone I wish you the best. I might return on rare occasions but can not promise anything :(

Hi Guys,

Apologies for the inconvenience but as someone pointed out there is no reference to a bonus within the email. It's a simple mistake of a template being used where the 'top text' has not been updated.

We have had literally a handful of players mentioning this from a send to our whole customer base, references to 'honouring it' and 'ASA' seem a little far fetched to me for a one liner in an email header. We endeavour not to make mistakes but sometimes they happen and sorry for that.

Thanks
Mark

from a send to our whole customer base,

Just as a heads up, if the email went to the whole customer base, one didnt arrive here. (and yes, I've checked the junk mail, not unsubscribed etc, and I've received 32Red email as recent as the 5th).

Cheers

Thanks buddy, I will check this out tomorrow. May have hit the spam filters. I genuinely appreciate you letting me know.

Mark

The thing is Mark it may of been a 1 liner and nothing else mentioned, The header is the main part, If a casino sent 20% in an email header it would of been instant deleted, But what do you want us to think? The whole email was only a one liner, be the first to play our new games

If the email talked about the game and how many lines etc than may of been a different story,

Its becoming a major occurrence from casino's in recent times, I pointed out that there will be errors here and there but just recently it seems that what are coming is beyond a joke and cannot make heads or tails of them, (From Other Sites)

I seen the ASA was mentioned but please do not take that personally they was stating the facts what they do, They do not care if it was a mistake or error as they do not look at it that way, All they see is the wrong info there, You could argue and say that nothing else was mentioned in the email about it but than they could say well nothing was mentioned in the email about anything, To us we know it was a genuine error but a few said they thought it was a 100% offer

I agree. Just to give me view as well quickly. I read it at work on mobile and looked ahh nice 100% that was early very nice as have spare cash for a change. To try out new games ahh nice I will make deposit of £50 tonight and give them a go.

And totally made me think without no believing it was right. See my pictures attached from mobile. Also when u opened email u got that 100% and then the new games think. What else could you think here.... IF it was a different casino then hmm maybe I would had rechecked or looked for terms etc..

But I not really bothered anymore I wont even fish after Mark would prob sort out for some of us. But we will get 100% friday anyways as well.

But yeah I am quite happy as I managed a big withdrawal at LeoVegas, Videoslots and Party Casino instead!!:p

A header is more than "one line", it is the major eye draw that makes someone take an interest in an advert sufficient to click through rather than discard it. This is why the position and visibility of a small mistake can be a major issue when it comes to the pretty strict rules we have here in the UK. If the line was buried in the email and people had to click through and ferret around to find it, it would be regarded as much less of a problem.

The other factor is that it's not an "obvious mistake", but a credible offer that is often made and honoured, and that players would believe was a genuine offer made in good faith.

If Tesco list a flat screen TV on their website for 4p, it's an "obvious mistake", and they wouldn't get into much trouble for refusing to honour it. (This has actually happened!!!). However, if they had mistakenly offered it at the price it was sold for in last months promotion, and a price they end up selling it for later on, it would not be an "obvious mistake", but an offer that customers were entitled to rely upon and take up in good faith (it might even be regarded as a bait & switch). Reneging on such an offer would be more troublesome, and in general, Tesco would eat the mistake and honour the deal rather than suffer bad PR that would only get worse when a couple of months later it was pointed out they were "repeating the error", but this time honouring the sales.

It would be better to avoid having too specific a message in a template that can be selected in error, but put the offer in the body of the email itself, where the content is far less likely to be a template.

The ASA would only say "don't do it again", they wouldn't issue sanctions for an isolated mistake. What the ASA are really trying to do is go after those businesses who have a policy of making repeated "innocent mistakes" in order to deliver bait & switch advertisements designed to get people to click through based on incorrect headline information when they would ignore the advert were the headline truthful.

We see quite a few casinos who repeatedly "use the wrong template by mistake" in order to drive traffic to a poor offer, and sometimes the switch only becomes evident once the player has deposited. The remit of the ASA was extended to cover the internet because of the number of businesses that would behave when advertising on TV or in printed media, but misbehaved in the wild west of the internet because it was unregulated and thus there would be no one to pull them up for it.

This is nothing compared to some of the major marketing blunders (as in "they got caught") made by the likes of, for example, the old Jackpot Factory many years ago when Americans could play and regulation was pretty lax. After all, 32Red haven't claimed that playing the new games will cure cancer or end all your financial troubles

Yest again, email today 100% DOTD go to log in and 25% I lost count now and thats just the last few months,

What's 75% between friends! :eek::mad:

LoL, Bloody £7.50 on a 10 note depo :) 99% of the time it all gets spent any case

No doubt the rep will either ignore the post or come in and say, come on, stop being petty, it was a mistake, same as he did last time!

Mistakes are coming in thick and fast, No specific site but general casino sites, Used to get lots of help, If live chat was cluless than one mention on here it would be sorted, Now days every things seems to just get pushed to the sides, Unless of course it was a big mistake and it will be very sorry we have informed CS etc untill a week later same shits still going on,

I know people have a grunt for no reason and no doubt I have in the past, But no excuse to push players issues to the side no matter how minor, Things may seem more minor to some while others its a big deal,
