will do, maybe this weekend, i wish you would think of something along the lines of an old fashion treasure hunt, where clues are hidden thru- out the forum and maybe we can get enzo to match what i put in. i tell you whos good at this stuff is cynthial and b.b and babs and of course your" happy " self. does that sound fun to anyone besides myself?.....................laurie

i know you really want to do a treasure hunt, and i guess i was thinking of a scavenger hunt and was like how do we conceal stuff inside the site. but perhaps we can ask someone to find some obscure reference in a thread somewhere. i have a decent idea for a question, but it would take me ages to sift through and find it, and the winner would just be doing the same what i did.

the other day me and my new girlfriend (only until next week when she leaves for the other side of the world) were driving down the road and seen this guy who just had to be a mormon recruiter. she goes but don't they have name tags and travel in pairs? i said maybe the name tag was part of somebody's scavenger hunt and his buddy took off when the mugging was happening. it was hilarious at the time but in transcription i guess it's not as amusing.

maybe we can actually manage a scavenger hunt, like find and quote a post that meets a certain criterion for each item in the hunt. ie a post with a cuss word, a post from a spammer, a post with a "hidden (wheat) message", etc... good idea? to quote them all within the contest thread, just press quote as if to reply to the thread it's in, then copy that (so you get the backlink to the post in the quote bar) over to notepad/word so you don't lose them and paste them all into your entry in the contest thread. even if that's complicated, scavenger hunts are supposed to be hard...

what you guys think?

.....scavenger hunt, thats the word i was trying to think of, we used to do it as teens years ago and it was so much fun, if it could be put together in a forum context that would be awesome, i will put up 25.00 and enzo said he would match it, so we might be headed for a casinomeister / 3 dice scavenger hunt......has anyone ever been on one ?...........laurie............thanks happy

Boomertown has them and Ive tried them. They are hard at that site . I think they are fun. Perhaps you could have ppl find certain screenshots in winner and suck OR find me a pic (anywhere on the web) of say an animal wearing clothes etc... One time I had to find a clown wearing a thong LMAO. Its pretty funny

some kids came in a while ago to my work; one of their items to collect for the hunt was a receipt for one cent worth of gas.

let me know if i should go ahead and make a list of things on the site to search for to make a scavenger hunt. no guarantees i can just bang it out immediately, but if you want i can start working on it. or if you have anything i could add to the list, pm me or reply here as well.
