So anyway the title says it all. As a heads up to american players at 3-dice just had a round of argument with Lance over at 3-dice. Im going to send them my ID but then I dont know if im going to play there much, 1.) their slots are tight and i win More at Club World, but i do like the chat feature and some of their slots at 3-dice but if anything I should be Id'ng them they win more money off of me lol.

That said, last night i made a deposit with paste and pay no problem, requested a withdrawal no problem, got an email about needing ID, ok first i had heard about it from anyone sent an email going HUH?? withdrew my request for withdrawal and played it and lost it (naturally their slots are soo tight) and they dont like you to say anything negative about them they only want to hear positive (too bad with me you get the good and the bad). So tonight i go to make another deposit with paste and pay and told I cannot deposit they withdrew it till I can send them my ID. WTF?? Well guess what, not going to do i. I can be stubborn too. I just wont deposit and I told Lance the rep that. I will just play at Club World where I actually Do win once more often than not and can make deposits while they wait on my Id and they actually accept constructive feedback. I honestly had a scanned copy of it in an email ready to go out to them tonight till this happened, now far as im concerned they can wait till the cow jumps over the moon

I will eventually send them my ID, in a few months....

    So your point is.....?

You're shitty because you lost? Or because they're asking for what every other casino asks for?

3Dice has done nothing wrong here. I'm sure if you had won when you reversed you would have been happy to send the ID and there wouldn't be an issue.

They are not going to allow deposits until i send them My identification. Which makes absolutely no sense to me at all. Withdrawals I get it. Deposits I dont get.

Look at it like this Nifty I have had my 3-dice account for over a year almost 2 years, never any problems at all, not even a warning, they just suddently ask for identification for a withdrawal i ask why but say ok they then block me from even making deposits until i send it to them so that i cant even play. That is not acceptable to me and actually yes, I actually went round and round with another casino regarding identification documents for two weeks before it got fixed and there was no withdrawal issue in that one..

And yes I have the chat log with lance if you need me to post that.

Obviously they are updating their KYC information. It is not unusual these days to disable all transactions until ID is provided.

There is actually just as much if not more risk with deposits than withdrawals.

I still don't see the issue. It's not like they're asking for something unusual.

    So, don't play there.

Again....3Dice have done nothing wrong, and just because they haven't asked for ID in 2 years, doesn't mean they are not entitled to do so at any time.

What's the big deal? Just send the ID!

It's common for any casino to request at any time ID info from a player as they are also taking a risk by accepting your deposits, example , someone could pretend to be you and commit fraud against you, it protects you, the casino and your credit card.

When you signed up for pay and paste you had to confirm by a text that your credit card was yours and most likely got a phone call like I did.

It is very hard for players in the US now to play and 3Dice is still standing by it's US players , so why not just do this one thing and scan over your Drivers lic, or someother form of ID, it is not that hard .

Lance has always been a good CS rep and I am sure he would never be rude, sometimes we want to assume from the way someone types that they are being snippy when they are just stating facts, I too have been gulity of this and had to eat crow in the past.

In all fairness, after ~2 years of accepting his money (assuming that it's true) the risk for 3Dice is very minimal at this point and I'd not be happy either. It's not like he could have been depositing with a stolen credit card for the last 2 years and no one noticed.

Now I know that some casinos are "required" to ask for ID's after $XXXX has been deposited and this could be the case here. Or maybe they suspect him of multi-accounting? Other than that, I don't see any legit reason to ask for ID's after such a long time.

Personally I hate sending ID's. The less my personal informations are out there, the better I feel (and I sure understand why some US players are reluctant to send their ID's).

I tend to agree with Balthazar. If they haven't asked so far, why now.

Also, with paste and pay, you are verified though them. and they DO CATCH you if you get someone

else to purchase a voucher and you use it. Did this ONCE, never again. Account gets locked instantly.

I was mortified when that happened.

But also, I have never heard of the "If you have deposited so much" , then they need your ID.

I appreciate that they haven't asked for all that paperwork!! Privacy is a big part of it, but I just hate

going through the hassle of it. It's not hard to do, just a pain.

Correct....YOU don't see any legit reason. Obviously, 3Dice DOES see one.

At this point, nobody else has reported being asked for ID, so the thread title is quite misleading.

The problem can be VERY easily solved by the OP providing the ID. I find it very odd that they are resisting.

Casinos have the right to request ID at any time according to their KYC needs and responsibilities....in fact, it is enshrined in the terms and conditions that the player agreed to when registering an account.

For all we know, the OP may have reached a threshold of some kind with that deposit option or just generally. If it were me, and I wanted to know why, I would PM the rep before starting threads suggesting that all players have to provide ID, which is, at this stage, completely unfounded.

    I have.

It's even in eCogra's eGap standards.

It's also progress in the sense that many players get annoyed that all the trouble over ID starts when they withdraw, and they feel that by accepting the deposits without raising the ID issue, the casino has defrauded them.

Casinos often ask for fresh documents when an earlier one expires, such as a photo ID gone past it's expiry date, or a credit card that has been reissued with a fresh expiry date, even where the number itself remains the same.

It's partly a PR problem as so many casinos say "you will only be asked for this once", which in many cases turns out to be untrue, particularly for the long term loyal player who remains active for several years.

The truth is that you will be FIRST asked for ID when you first withdraw, or when your total deposits reach a certain threshold. You will then be asked again when certain pieces of ID expire, or personal details and/or deposit methods change. Players who have stuck with a particular casino group for many years have often sent in their documents several times throughout their time there.

I had to go through KYC again at Lucky Nugget after the big win last year, even though I had already gone through KYC with them before, and not just once either.

An experienced player usually has their KYC documents scanned and ready to go so that they can comply the instant they get the request, thus minimising any delay.

I too find it odd that "out of the blue" they request ID. With this being said, something has definitely happened for 3dice to request such a thing. I guess we will know in due time what went on. Me personally if I wasn't hiding anything I would send in my id to continue playing there.. I mean why wouldn't you? If you have to send in documents to other casinos with no questions asked then what's the big deal?!?!

@ the OP, it sounds like you're taking it personally, which is not consctructive. I went to a store once and my debit card was declined, I came home and called the bank and they said that earlier I had used a bank machine that had been tampered with and they locked my card for MY protection until I called and verified who I was and they gave me a different pin number until I could change it. I know it's not the same thing, I'm just saying that don't know what's going on behind the scenes - maybe there's been a rash of fraud at the processor or maybe your account was flagged because someone was trying to hack it.

TBH I'm not getting why you're making a big deal about it, you have the ID already scanned, it's not like you have to pay a lawyer or walk 100 miles to take it to them.

Showing ID's are just apart of the everyday society we live in , you have to show it for almost everything , cashing checks, sometimes when you use your credit card , when you buy beer , show your drivers lic. when you get pulled over for doing 85 in a 45 zone and have to pay 175.00 fine , thats another rant, sorry............. Heck I get ID'd for buying beer and was ID'd for cigg's today by a 20 something year old clerk and I'm 50 but its their job:eek2:

If your gonna gamble online , just suck it up and send them the docs if you wish to continue playing, sooner or later you will have to break down and send them anyways, so just be done with it and not make a big deal out of it.

3 Dice will not sell your info nor will Enzo or anyone there try to steal your identity if that is the worry, this is a trusted casino and as a player for over 2 years , you should know this by now, right ?

Just my opinion for what it is worth if any:D

I dont think anyone should hold something against a casino asking for ID, or get offended by it.
The fact that they refuse a deposit proves that they take their job and player integrity seriously. I mean its unheard off for casinos to refuse deposits, usually most just take deposits even when they shouldn't for whatever reason,.... and problems only arise when you want to withdraw,.. then all sorts of complaints come about. Sure it is inconvenient and perhaps unusual and could be annoying, but it is what it is.

Here they have to ask for ID's if you (according to the clerck) look under 25 (while the minimum age required for alcohol/tobacco/lottery is 18).

Asking a 50 year old for her ID's because they have to ask everyone is beyond ridiculous. I truely hate this kind of law that brushes everyone with the same brush regardless of common sense.
