Hey all,

I'm super excited to announce the launch of a brand-new game that's getting traction in New England.
I just wanted to share my major milestone with the forum - this is super exciting as the game has been in demo since September.

It is my belief that 21STUD will be a very controversial topic for some.
A traditional player may scoff, but the active market is showing a genuine interest. Fascinating science, really.

So happy to share :) Kicking off on St Patricks Day! Beers for days~

@Kroffe

Removing the skill/choice part alone doesn't increase the odds :)
It does, however, change the experience for the player.

Nonetheless, the game does boast a base game edge between 3.83-5.8% depending on the rules being used.
So based on that, yes it is "worse" by comparison in that regard, but still better than roulette at 5.25%

The major function of taking out the choice factor is to speed up and simplify play.
It is also a vehicle for allowing rapid bonus bets using a dealer card as part of a 3-card component.

When you play 21STUD, it will feel comparable to a 2-card Casino War in that regard, but with Blackjack payouts for 21/22.
Otherwise, you need to be higher or lose on a push/copy. 21+ always wins though.

When the hand is dealt, or a card gets flipped, a match game is played, allowing for a total of four types of bets per round.

I'm still finishing up on iOS but there is an app on Google Play store for trial play.
I encourage you to try it out and see how it makes you feel, if not for the science of it.

Terrible odds - you won't catch me playing a game like that :(

And over here in the UK, our roulette only has 1 Zero - so the house edge is a much more attractive 2.7%

@KasinoKing
I had a chance to play single-zero in Bad Weiss, Germany. Only once.
Also lost 400 Euro.

Unforgettable :)

FWIW - the match bets against the dealer flip cards are lower around 2.1%
Mirror Match is approx 6% though. So if you played the two matches you'd have a lower overall average.

You will never catch me playing triple zero either, on a relatable note

The purest Blackjack player might never accept the game, this is true.
But when you start to see it more as a Match game, I would rather take my date to play this with me if not for the fun factor.

TBH its more fun to me not having to explain every play. The question becomes "what am I paying for here?"
(unless they are also a skilled 21 player, then you might at least give this a look)

I don't like dissing new games, but this one sounds as boring as.

Might as well just go heads or tails, red or black.

Part of the attraction of BJ is trying to outwit the dealers hand.

Your version take all interaction out of the game but increases the house edge 4 fold.

Why would i or other BJ players want to play your version?.

@Gaz237 part of the science here is that the desirable hands of Blackjack are the 20/21s that do not require player action.

Furthermore, a casual or action player prefers the bonus bets that pay 4x plus with a relatively high frequency.

When we talk through a hand, you get 2 face-up and the dealer gets 2 face-down.
If you get a pair, you win a prize from 5x to 40x.
The dealer flips a card, then a prize is awarded accordingly based on suit and match-count.
The last card is flipped, and then the second match bet is paid/collected with a hand total comparison last.

It's a bonus game through and through, with a 2-card war attached to it.
If we focus only on the Blackjack part looking from a traditional, experienced 21 player viewpoint, I'm sure we can meet eye-to-eye on this.

The "game" is not in the taking of the actions.
Taking hits only builds anxiety... which is a stressful emotional response - at least for me.

Instead, there is more anticipation with each deal of hand or flip of a card.
Less experienced players will find a comfortable seat with this one, I am hoping.

It is my belief that the majority of casino goers are casual.
I am also a slot machine player. And Casino War is a table game installed in various jurisdictions.

So if a slot machine can be "the push of a button" dare I say that a table game could also enjoy the same benefits?

I find they are the majority of what makes up the casino floor from my experience.

This SHOULD be thought-provoking.
Gambling games arent a "game" in the traditional sense.... they are an EXPERIENCE!

Just an update here, there is a web-based version that plays well on full screen desktop using Spanish decks with alternate payouts.

You can try it out at alchematrix.com

Planning to integrate this into the main website at zfxgames.com hopefully soon.

We had 2 tables going for most of yesterday evening ❤
