Hey peeps,

I have two questions for you all if I may,

I noticed the other day someone was talking about flushing there funds/withdrawal from a casino.

What does this mean?- and which casino's do this.

Second part to my question, I have been with a certain casino since August last year and have deposited exactly $1960 there.
How long or how much do you have to deposit at a casino inorder to start seeing some perks or comps.
This casino in question I feel is somewhat tight with there loyal players ( that's why iam asking I dont really know what consists as a loyal player).
I do know all casino's operate different towards promotions , loyalty bonuses and such but iam sure there is a medium out there.would a one of depositor that deposits $20,000 get the same perks a seasonal depositor that deposits half that amount but over the year?.

1. Flushing is the process of making a recently-entered withdrawal unavailable for reversing (and therefore losing). Simmo has compiled a good list of the casinos that will flush your withdrawal upon request Outdated URL (Invalid).

2. This depends on the casino, but at most places it is based on how much you wager and not how much you deposit/lose. At most MG's you have to wager $10,000 to get a measly $10 (that's 0.1% cash back, and some places go so far as to give you these comps as a bonus with wagering requirements). RTG's have roughly the same or comp ratio, possibly even worse. Rival probably has the best (if you play slots), and 3Dice a close second.

Usually you can view your comp points in the cashier, or at MG's there is often an "L" (for Loyalty... or is it Loser? :p) icon in the upper-left of the casino lobby, although some groups have moved away from this and implemented some sort of cumbersome download program to redeem comps or sometimes you just need to sign in through their website. Some places don't even offer comps... check the casino's website and look for "Loyalty Program" or something similar to find out how to check your status or points.

The only thing that I would add to SlotsWizard post, which was detailed very well is just a couple of notes:

1. Flushing is the process of making a recently-entered withdrawal unavailable for reversing (and therefore losing). Simmo has compiled a good list of the casinos that will flush your withdrawal upon request here.

Also there are several MG casinos that will also flush depending on what level of player you are there.

2. This is more tricky, and depends on the casino, but at most places it is based on how much you wager and not how much you deposit/lose. At most MG's you have to wager $10,000 to get a measly $10 (that's 0.1% cash back, and some places go so far as to give you these comps as a bonus with wagering requirements).

Based on how much you wager is also considered or termed by the casino as "How much Action you show the casino"...this does not have to be your total deposits added up but rather your win/loss ratio or what the casino calls your theoretical win..."Action"

I just wanted to add that some MG casinos will flush your withdrawal, however even after you flush it can be reversed if you request part or all of it.

I bet you didn't really want to know that, did you? :D

You can flush your withdrawals at thisisvegas and last I checked all Rival casinos as well. You can either email the support team or go to the website and click on the livechat link or do the same in the cashier.

As for the vip program I believe most casinos would give you better comps based on wagering opposed to deposits, or wins vs. losses. If not it really should be based more on wagering and related to deposits. I know for our program we don't have a large divide between new players and VIP players since both get a lot of bonuses and we do our best to treat all players (not just VIPs) as best as we can.

What's really bad is when you send an email requesting that the withdrawal be flushed, but log back into the casino and reverse it to try to quickly make a few more bucks at blackjack, only to end up losing all of it before they even respond. I did that twice back in 2006. And then, right after placing your last losing bet, you get the email from CS saying "I can't find a pending withdrawal for your account".

Hey John - I'm not sure what you did, or if it was even you, but one way or another my account at ThisIsVegas was fixed so that I could collect the signup bonus. Thank you.
