1st April tax goes up to 21% from previously 15%. Will be interesting to see what happens next 12 months in UK, going to be hard for many to survive. I think most operators on the stockmarket at least in Sweden have profits on average 13% EBITA from NGR, now it will be almost 50% less on UK players.

I have a feeling a number of casino operators will bail, and that the "grey" market of non-UKGC casinos will boom taking in loads of players. The UKGC may have good intentions, but they haven't a clue on what players want. They will be stoking the profits of the Curacao licensed, Russian owned casinos :p

Has anyone in the industry tried explaining this to the UKGC?
Or even someone, like yourself, who's impartial, but highly respected and knowledgeable?

Something I mentioned a long time back.....

Have a strong and confident feeling that UKGC decisions and future implementations and maybe even back tracks will be horse-stable-bolted scenarios

The problem with the well-run and "paying" non-UKGC sites, that accept UK customers, is that they always run crappy Betsoft and Rival games, which is a drawback.

Whereas the rogue Curacao operators offer Play&Go, NetEnt etc., but you'll never see your winnings.
