Labour looking to double taxes on gambling

Enjoy your 94% lowered RTP and casino choices while they last, folks. They are thinking about imposing a 50% tax rate so we can look forward to 84% RTP PNG's after the Budget.

What else can we expect from the hard left anti-fun, anti-choice shower in charge of the country. This would of course decimate the UK gambling industry, but I always suspected it was on Labour's agenda.

Not that RTPs weren't already in terminal decline as it is, with casinos' greed hitting new crescendos.

But then, what did anyone expect from a bunch of hapless commies? That they'd allow the peasantry to have 'fun'? when they could be working the fields instead and being equally miserable?

I'd like to think it's to repair the nation's 'financial black hole' that they invented, but chances are it's to splurge the funds on windmills or getting that four-eyed drone some new specs 🤷‍♂️

Most likely for illegal immigration costs. Build them nice new mansions while spitting on their own people :)

Can UK use VPN and play elsewhere?

This will just further fuel players and operators to leave the regulated UK market place. But as UK residents, I think and fear increase in taxation on gambling activities is the least of our worries.

Robbing Rachel and Two Tier Keir no doubt will be unveiling a lot of pain come the end of the month.

I guess I'll just have to jer........no, I really can't say that on this forum.

People think I'm enough of a sicko as it is already.....

I strongly believe that this is the beginning of the end of most online casinos. What the UK are about to do will be copied by most other Countries around the World.
We are heading towards a cashless society which will give so much control to the government and WEF/WHO.
"You will not spend more than X per month on gambling because we will block you from depositing"

VPN's will be totally prohibited. I said this 4 years ago. It may take some years, but it will happen sooner than we think
.
Only casinos and Bookies that have very close links to the government and lobbying will survive.

All independent casinos would be fools to ignore it and maybe so should Casinomeister too.

They have nothing to offer ordinary, working British citizens except misery.

A very slow power shift. Like sticking a frog in a pan of cold water above a slow heat. Slowly change things so folk will except the changes because of their distractions.
Most of the young are way too distracted by their gaming and whatever and their parents have strictly and shit to notice

I know countries in Europe with much worse rules for players than the UK. Quite a few even apply taxes on winnings. In other countries, it's just simpler to get through signup and all the papers because many have national eIDs that store most info about a citizen, and they're recognized across the country they live in.

Here, it would be similar to if the National Insurance number worked for casino KYC, SAW, etc. like all in one document that tells them who you are, where you live, work, etc.

As for VPNs, these would be the easiest to ban. They're not needed for most people anyway.

But imagine if the UKGC decides someday to put a tax on gambling winnings lol..

That is what the WEF/WHO/globalists view on our lives is.
China is the blueprint.
Everything we do will be on our ID. Imagine going to a store and when paying by card for something fattening finding it being rejected because your readings are too high.
It is going that way.
But there is one plus side. Crime of all types will go down massively.
There is a reason why they do not build more prisons

in holand they ban all crypto casinos, ppl still play on VPN, but if you play on crypto and stream jail time,
david labdowksy was streaming from holdand then he give up, they may ban VPN but no gamstop casinos never gets ban, they run by crimnals like Tate brothers and lot of money get spend for crimanls to give up, for UK casinos now is the best time to move to crypto before is to late, and lot of players will play on casinos they know for years

If Labour are going to increase the tax on profits then the simple answer is to offer all games at max RTP% and absorb the remaining house-edge through promotions and giveaways. This means there will be no profits that can be taxed. Players get a fantastic experience and Labour get fuck all.

Hehe - sorted 😎

Something it seems I'll never have to worry about :o :o

Un regulated and crypto is the way forward.

Due to Betfair (c**ts) closing my account in 2016 I had to seek an alternative solution.

That solution provides me with access to their (now dying) exchange, Pinnacle sports, also on its arse to be fair, and my choice of 100s of unregulated casinos. I have used many, their slots are 95-96%, and payouts are nearly always instant.

F the UK, F their SOW shit, F their invasive surveillance.
