Another casino/bookie announced today that theyre shutting for their dutch players, first bingosite Tombola, and now LiveScoreBet is next.
No more deposits from the 25th of nov, and no more plays/bets on the 29th at 12:00.
I can only imagine that the dutch market just isnt the golden pots at the end of a rainbow that they hoped, but also ofcourse the raise of gambling taxes thats incoming.

Now something that really stunned me was the following: (translated by me from dutch->english)

What happens with any bets after the 29th of Nov?
From now on you can cashout any bets that would be resolved after the 29th. If you don't, they will become void and the stake will be returned to your balance.

Now there are two things that kinda intrigue me about this, and they feel a tad bit nasty to be honest. Feel free to drop your opinions about it.

First: You can cashout bets now. Well, how smart.. as thats another way to earn some extra % as a cashout is often below the (current) value of the bet, either due to changes in odds, but i think alot of us will know a fair amount of bookies that if you stake 100 eur on X, then immedeately after betting there will be a cashout button only offering you 95 eur.

Second, and probably even worse is that all bets will be voided after the 29th. Free bets made for for example a seasons winner or whatever will basically just be snatched (or should i say, stolen..) off of you, simply because of it not being resolved before the 29th. Not that they care really, as they dont need to retain you playing on their site anyways, nor have any good word said about them as theyre fully pulling out anyways. But it feels very nasty to do tricks like that.

Yay dutch casinos.. yay. (not)

That's sad news for Dutch players, with even less choice from the already slim pickings in the regulated market.

We all know what happens when you make the regulated market too restrictive and limited in choice...

Dark times are coming for Dutch players. Crypto casinos, delays in withdrawals & verifications, account blocking for no reason, complaints...

I can understand they don't want to have sports bets hanging for months after they've shut down.

As long as the cashout offers are reasonable then that would be fine - particularly as losing long-running bets are currently worth more than their fair value. Hopefully they can come up with a fair solution for the other edge cases such as free bets, but we know how that goes...

Crypto casinos
Not even that because they are not permitted to register at Curacao-based sites... and Costa Rica and Anjouan properties are already showing their colours as top grade shithole casinos (tm).
