Imagine my shock when these cards fell into place!

I held the A, K and 10.

I've had a lucky run recently, cumulating here in by far my biggest ever win. :D

They have offered to pay me $20k and then $10k per month thereafter, but I feel I should be paid as a lump sum as the progressive money is pooled by Boss Media, and therefore should be immediately avaliable (This money will earn 10 per day in interest here in the UK). Hopefully Bryan is helping me with this. :)

wish i could afford $25 a throw. but haven't you heard from theodore that boss is rigged?

is this a white label casino??

Hey, just wondering.. Isnt this a white label casino listed on

?? Or are there more casinos named Pharaohs Casino ?

iirc, playshare are mg casinos. the casino in the screencap is clearly boss media, and also is an accredited casino (again iirc).

Wow Nice congratulations! The jackpot was then reseted back to $25k after your win right, thats why it shows $25k in the paytable and your $117k in the winnings.

You are right, dont agree to this slowpayment and rightfully ask for the whole sum at once. Otherwise they will be making the 10 per day. Hope you spent your monye wisely (not i.e. gamble it away) and let us know fast they paid you. Its good advertising for them as well.

OMG

do they even give you the double or nothing option?

I would be shitting my pants if I were to hit that accidentally!!

Yes, the jackpot has been reset to exactly $25k in the screenshot. The win is shown down at the bottom right-hand corner, and can be multiplied by the denomination ($5) for it's cash value.

Lol I don't remember clicking collect, so I think it must have been collected automatically. Phew!

I will update when i'm paid :)

You know, I just got my first royal flush yesterday also. But it was for like 50 cents ona 50-pay machine, so it wasn't a big deal.

Very nice hit fusion.

I recommend reading the casino's terms with a fine tooth comb to see their rules on max payouts, and holding them to at least that standard.

why does it show 23,459 credits instead of 25,000?

That was my first thought... that it reset to an amount larger than what he had won... but he was using a $5 coin, and the jackpot is an absolute dollar amount. His win was for 23,459 coins x $5.00 coin size = over $117,200. If he had won the jackpot again on the very next hand, not only would Thodorisk have had a heart attack, but it would have shown that liquuid_fusion won 5,000 coins.

Liquiid_fusion - congratulations on such a large win!!!

I actually hit a Natural Royal Flush as well the other night playing a 5cent bet.
I was playing the slots and was down to my last dollar so I switched over to Joker Poker and started off small, hit a few 4 of a kinds then put the bet up.
It was only for $200 but it was still nice.

There was another outfit that tried to pay off a progressive in installments... Can't remember now. I think Bryan had to step in and 'remind' them that the money should pay out pronto. I agree, I see no reason for installments as group wide progressives monies are held by Boss Media and should be payable immediately!

Good luck and congrats on a fine win!!!

Thanks everyone. They are taking a long time to get back to me - I won this jackpot a week ago (20th August). I am quite tempted to take the first offered installment, as at least some money in my hands is better than all the money in the casinos hands. However, I fear this may be seen as acceptance of the payment plan.

in all seriousness, anyone who has a large sum of money would have it earning interest somewhere. just as you want it quick in one whack so you can put it to work for you, likewise they have that money out working for them right now. it may be locked up in investments etc and not immediately solvent. that said, you do deserve to get paid in a timely manner, and it's not your problem where they have got the funds located. they should be allowed some time to get the money ready, but installments are no good.

perhaps if they dilly-dally, you can argue to get the appreciated value at a fair interest rate? lotteries do (the reverse of) this frequently; to get the full win amount you have to take installments, so they can let for instance three quarters of the actual win appreciate to the full value by the time of the last payment. or one can opt to take the principal amount right off the bat and invest it however they want (read: buy a lamborghini). not saying you should settle for less, but rather they should pay more than 100% if they are holding it up, since casinos should be solvent enough to pay winners.

just curious, what happens when you win six figures in a casino? surely they don't pay cash into your hand; you'd never make it out the door.

It would be great if they paid interest. They'd have to add about $140 on top of my cashout just for the last week! - but i'd be very surprised if they did. Instead, they are that much richer for holding onto the money. I'd be happier if they let me know whats going on but instead i've been left in the lurch for a week. Webdollar seem quite efficient, I get the impression that they are waiting on the casino manager to tell them how to pay me.

This is one of those occasions when Webdollar-Boss needs to intervene and speed things up imo - their reputation is linked to the casino and this sort of delay should not be necessary (even if it is the holiday season in Europe LOL)

Here's a great opportunity for them to make a big song and dance about Liquuid winning this great prize and being paid out fast....it's the best type of positive, free publicity and yet they screw around like this.

Crazy....

Hmmm...:eek2:

Hold on a minute (without interest lol).

YOU won. so YOU should get the money ASAP. Not how they decide but as you, the winner would like to.

Well, this is how I feel about this.

If they do not want hassle about paying interest well, then pay it whole and pay it asap. :D

I am disturbed by this. Sorry to hear this. Hope it will settle soon and that you get your well deserved money they way you want it.

Make sure your shakey hand scans a pic of the cheque and posts it here before you cash it. That kind of win is just awesome. If I was the marketing manager I would round it up to $150 and get you to write a hard luck story and how the win allowed you to budget for a 4th porsche. Go back to the penny slots and spend it well my friend:thumbsup:

It's all about the terms and conditions.

In lottery, usually there are terms that state that a winner may be paid in several installements over a certain period of time. They do this to save as much money as possible by buying securities for less that will be worth the installment they owe you when they sell them.

Now at Boss/Webdollar, if they don't have such terms, they owe you your winnings ASAP, and installments are not acceptable. I'd scour the internet and find out whether or not they have such a policy with winners.

All Boss Media casinos using Webdollar (as far as i'm aware) do have maximum cashout per 30 days restrictions and I can't find any specific exemptions for progressive wins. In fact, I can't find any terms suggesting how large progressive wins are handled. However, the very nature of progressive jackpots suggests that it should be paid as a lump sum, as the casino already has the money - there is no cashflow problem. I wouldn't expect the Casinomeister to grant accredited status to a casino that pays progressives by installments.

I've contacted support at Pharaohs, the casino manager, Webdollar, Boss Media and the Casinomeister - there's not much more I can do now but wait for a resolution.

Maybe I can add something here, because I was actually the last player to win this jackpot.

On May 31, 2006, I hit it for $62.5K at Super Vegas Casino, the Boss Media licensee owned by Sportingbet. I withdrew all my winnings on June 1st by wire transfer, and you want to know how fast I got paid?

How about the next day.

My positive testimonial was later featured on Super Vegas' website. I was happy to do it because the way they handled everything was the way it should be: zero hassles and fast payment.

The fact is, most casinos are thrilled to have a player win a large jackpot because they get good public exposure (if handled right), while the winnings typically come out of a pool and not their own funds.

Instead, so far Pharoahs Casino has managed to squander this opportunity through its refusal to pay funds already in its possession. Pretty soon the message is going to be that any player would be wise to play progressive jackpots at Super Vegas rather than Pharoahs because you know you'll be paid fast.

Good post, sdaddy - and belated congratulations on your own significant jackpot!

I wonder whether this delay is influenced in some way by the hint that Pharoahs is about to change to another software platform?

Since my last post in this thread, Pharaohs have come back to me and offered to pay in two $59k installments. I've not been paid yet but the first wire transfer should be initiated tomorrow, with the second following as soon as my ID documents have been verified. I will update when i've got the money! All in all, it looks like a delay of just over two weeks between winning the jackpot and receiving the money, which is not as quick as i'd hoped but certainly not a disaster.

Many thanks to Pharaohs, Webdollar and the Casinomeister

Good to hear at least something is happening. Congratulations again on a win I could only dream of!

Congrats wioth your win, however it's damn sad that they have ruined atleast one week of your life now - loosing sleep frightened something should go wrong! And, we all know, this is not the first time. Why the heck cant the casinoes be fair and pay their customers who are lucky to win!

I'm looking forward seeing you get paid!

Here is my advise, take 1/2 the wininngs and pay any dept you might have at once! Be nice to your family (unless they expect you to be), get yourself some nice stuff - get a plasma TV, XBOX360 and PS3 - get all that shit! And try stay away from online gambling for atleast 2 month! If you can't do that, atleast don't spend a dime untill fully paid!

Take care!
