New Slot Announcement Zeus 2 from WMS - What have they done?

"BTG wipe the floor with other developers"

Yeah

And? Perhaps you'd explain what this vague single-shot image is implying? Is that the take-up as a proportion of play for a week, or the presence of each developer in the lobby? Given that Netent have about 15x more slots than BTG not surprising. Perhaps tell us where the image comes from, who provided those stats (I notice Rival there mmm...) - y'know give the post some context.

WMS is really dead an buried if you ask me.
Zeus is one of my favourite WMS games, even Zeus III wasn't this bad.
Atrocious!!!!

That new Vikings slot I have played a bit yesterday, like you said Dunover, more of the same buy your feature megaways cheese.

Novo also lost the plot by the way...Their new releases are all so bloody bad...

And the BoRe clone did well for me last night, kinda like it.

Overall mostly crap releases!

The thing is, I have noticed that you are somewhat biased when it comes to slot reviews - BTG basically cloned Bonanza two times this year and both of those clones you gave high marks and made 30 minute long video full of compliments (or was it two videos?). When Mircogaming (add any provider that is not called BTG) releases a slot that is just a re-branded old slot, you play it 1 minute (at best) and basically doom it to hell and call it microcloning.

Ok, you constantly claim that BTG creates something new and innovative every time. Let's take a look at their recent releases. This year they have released

- two clones of Bonanza (ok, added pie gamble and a ladder gamble really aren't innovative or new features)
- Donuts - full of glitches but it is an ok slot, I'll give you that. Becomes boring pretty quickly tough.
- BOG - can't see any potential in this one, the only thing is to wait for re-triggers. Bland.

That is what BTG have done this year. Any blockbusters? Yet you made long, positive reviews on each of those. If those were released by any other provider, I think the reviews would be very different and just a couple minutes long. And that is my point. You are in a responsible position and pretty much the tone of your video review defines the destiny of a new slot (well, atleast among casinomeister users). I don't know if you are so in-love with BTG that you can't see the forest for the trees or what is the reason. Sometimes it even feels that you are promoting and advertising BTG slots and bashing other providers.

I have watched about 95% of your videos since 2015 and I remember how you enjoyed playing Twin Spin and such. But since last spring or something, the tone of your videos drastically changed. They seem to be more professional and you are constantly claiming on your videos how BTG is better than others and how you only play BTG slots etc...

All and all, I think you should be more equal when reviewing slots. :)

To be fair the Battleships review was spot on, got more review time than the 30 seconds I
would have given it, Spent a whole £10 playng it last night and i have no idea how
megaways could be so bad.

Thanks for the explanation. I do prefer BTG slots, unashamedly. I get no incentive to praise them either. Do you remember the kicking I gave their shockingly bad Temple Quest Spinfinity? The thing is, BTG don't have a policy of belching out 2 games or more a month, but you get fewer and better-quality more detailed games which take more analysis than most dross that's released. The reviews reflect this. The player take-up they get also reflects the better quality they generally have.
Yes, going back to Bonanza I could see immediately that game was something special and it was my most-viewed video ever when I was the first to stick it on YT, the thread here is massive and people love it (or hate it) and it's pretty certain that I lit the spark that spread the Bonanza fire originally. If I was on commission lol I'd be rich by now.
The fact is as an experienced reviewer that 80% of slots are pretty generic and require little time, but recently I have praised and enjoyed a few including iSoftBet's 3888 Ways Of Dragon, Netent's Vikings and so-on.
As for the video in this thread, spending time for example reviewing that dreadful one-dimensional Zeus 2 - well what am I supposed to say? It's a bit like your old schoolteacher asking you to write a 500-word essay about the inside of a table tennis ball.
Clones require little analysis - it suffices to say to members here that "This slot is a copy of xxxx slot" and that's really all there is to say.
My videos reflect my opinions alone - there's nothing stopping others here from doing their own video reviews, is there? In fact it'd be good as then we'd have a contrast between different viewpoints and from a reviewer that doesn't prefer high-variance as much as I do.

I played the re-released version of Gorilla Chief 2 on VS a couple of weeks back and I thought it was appalling. They've reworked the graphics for absolutely no reason and made it worse - the wild gorilla symbols look too much like the scatters, and a lot of the colour and clarity from the original 2D symbols has been lost to 3D so you can't tell them apart like you used to. The 'Hot Respin' has had practically all of the drama and theatre removed from it and is now completely underwhelming. There were also bugs and crashes during play, very frequently. I was really disappointed I'm sorry to say :(
