Your favourite slots that let you gamble/upgrade a bonus?

What are your current favourites to gamble a feature on, ie on Cherry Pop I like to max gamble the free spins(twice) or Extra Chilli I will gamble to either of the final 2 bonus rounds depending if I'm up/down.

I also like the upgrading a bonus concept and wish it was more common on Hacksaw(like the ability to gamble a 3 scatter into a 4 scatter bonus)

I generally dont like bonuses that make you feel like you have to gamble it and risk losing it, on most games its hard enough already to land the bonus.
Feels like its aimed at streamers and people with deep pockets.
Watching the odd video of The Bandit where he throws away thousands of pounds trying to 'max out' a bonus on some game is enough for me.

That said, im kind of ok with the gamble you can do on some BTG slots where you can gamble a basegame win for a chance of getting the bonus.
I can sacrifice a 30-50x basegame win for a chance at the bonus.

Yeah it's a degen move but when you get a cheap bonus I find it fun to take a punt and go big or go home .

i am not a gambler at all .... when it comes to gamble bonuses but i have a soft spot for the og cherry pop too.

and on some of the new hacksaw releases i tend to gamble too, eg epic bullets and bounty or lecowboy

I stopped gambling the spins on extra chilli or more turkey as they just don't land frequently enough for me to want to risk it and I do occasionally get the retrigger in the bonus anyway.

I suppose it could be that being in the UK means that every bonus already feels like a lot of work to land and when you have one of those lucky ones that land early enough it's better to take it because who knows when that will happen again.

The closest I get to gambling/upgrading a bonus these days is if I'm ahead when the bonus lands and pick High Noon instead of Train Heist on DoA2!

It's just the providers finding ways to get you to lose more while basically taking away the ability to get the biggest hits without trying your luck on the features.

I would never gamble a feature even if it was a 1st spin bonus. It's just too feels bad when it loses and you don't even get the bonus then.

The only thing that I feel works in my experience are extra bets to increase the chance of landing a bonus. But my limit is an additional 50% of my base bet, up to an absolute max total bet of 0.30 (mostly 0.20 base bet plus 0.10 to double your chance of landing a bonus). Again, providers aren’t offering extra bets for our advantage, but it is key these days to land bonuses given a lot base games are next to dead. On a 0.30 bet, the maximum I’ll let the slot take from me is 33x (10.00) so I’m more a hit (or get hit) and run player.

I used to occasionally gamble a free spins feature when I felt lucky, but I have not done it ever since I hit a massive multiplier with a regular feature on Mystery Reels Megaways a few years back. In fact I distinctly remember gambling that feature to the top in that game and most of the spins in that feature were dead, which also put me off gambling that feature again. Also, I'm sure I read somewhere on here some years back that the feature is predetermined anyway, so I thought gambling it really has no effect.

Vampy Party and the one I really want to succeed on is Vikings Go Berserk Reloaded. Having them all go ragnarok is a dream come true!

Yeah first it didn't even exist then it was like 20% and now you get games charging 300% + in some cases.

It's madness. I also believe extra chance is 'worth it' provided it's no more than 50%. If a game does have decent base game too I can justify leaving it off but most games are just too top heavy in RTP from bonuses.

Yeah I mainly play deposit bonus funds now so don't mind the gamble as my $40 deposit plays as $120+ etc. Way harder to justify a double gamble with a $15-20 bonus with raw cash play.

I din't get the vampy party love, totally not my style with the lack of basegame hits and so many deadspins in the bonuses. Vikings Go Bezerk is fun but not put alot of volume into that yet.
