Yes, I have a foul mouth, but to my counter parts, I don't. Mind you I curb it when I'm around new people or in a business setting, but it got me thinking.....do I really swear a lot? So I googled " Do Canadian women swear more?", and this is what I found.

Nearly, as the word is Faerten old Norse/German and in fact this comedic old drawing shows the high regard the Old English had for farting, a tradition which persists to this day and is still proudly followed by some of the UK populace.

Alas, I've tried to learn old Anglo-Saxon at home, to read it anyway, as it was once an objective of mine to read the Anglo Saxon Chronicles without translation, an objective in which I failed miserably after a few evenings. I'll leave it to the historians on TV.

As I’ve said before a really close friend of mine lives in Ontario, at first even I was shocked at her language, but I just got used to it.
I’d worry if she didn’t say ‘fuck’ every other sentence now lol
