Yes, I have a foul mouth, but to my counter parts, I don't. Mind you I curb it when I'm around new people or in a business setting, but it got me thinking.....do I really swear a lot? So I googled " Do Canadian women swear more?", and this is what I found.

Just out of interest, you are holding up a fine tradition,F**K is 500 years old and C**T is 700 years old.
If you asked who farted 800 years ago , you would be understood

Nearly, as the word is Faerten old Norse/German and in fact this comedic old drawing shows the high regard the Old English had for farting, a tradition which persists to this day and is still proudly followed by some of the UK populace. :D

Alas, I've tried to learn old Anglo-Saxon at home, to read it anyway, as it was once an objective of mine to read the Anglo Saxon Chronicles without translation, an objective in which I failed miserably after a few evenings. I'll leave it to the historians on TV.

windig āþundenness (windy swelling) is probably their term of the day for what we now label 'IBS'...

You should hear the shit that comes out of my mouth when I'm pissed off! BUT. I watched Game of Thrones for the first time this week, and was actually turned off by the swearing.
As I’ve said before a really close friend of mine lives in Ontario, at first even I was shocked at her language, but I just got used to it.
I’d worry if she didn’t say ‘fuck’ every other sentence now lol

I remember dating this one guy, and we went to his family BBQ. I had a few glasses of wine. He said to me " Jen, do you realize, you've said fuck more than you have not? Yes, embarrassed. But I didn't even know I was doing it..........Needless to say, I didn't stop! And he was a biker!

I think it’s superb and should be embraced, my friends a lovely lady with a heart of gold. She just says it as it is.
That’s how I’d rather people be, swear words shouldn’t always be a negative.
In the Canadian accent to I find awesome lol
And not knowing you do it’s even better as it’s just natural ‘female Canada speech’ haha

Astonished:
