All I can say is.
Everytime you hear Yahoo Games you think of FREE Games to play.
At times I play Yahoo Backgammon with many friends from Turkey.

yep, spam....don't bother emailing yahoo, they have nothing to do with it.

and it seems they dont even want to know about it

What logo? It'd help to see the whole email, or at least just the link...

I get them as well Winbig. Here's the body of the email, copied and pasted. The Yahoo logo is actually at the top, but this is the only way I could copy it.

But when you click ANYWHERE on the body of the email, even a blank space, it takes you to:

xxxhttp://moneygalsrolling.com/

And guess what that is? Yep, Gold VIP Club (or a white label of them), the spammers to end all spammers. You know....their amazing $2400 signup offer? If I've gotten one of these things, I've gotten 1,000. I am so sick of it.

And this is the header:

thanks Pina...see what happens when you don't have all the information? lol

The closest thing I could find on yahoo's site in regards to contacting them about this sort of thing is copyright@yahoo-inc.com

I'd just send them the complete email with headers and let them take it from there...

I don't even know what they'd do, because that address is for reporting users that have violated someone elses copyright...hah

But, maybe they can tell you who to contact

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

note: they say that you can't send attachments to the above email address

and hopefully, they will hunt these ()&*@#$*@&#$ down and prosecute them. They're in clear violation of copyright laws.

ya know something, I keep getting (different) crap from these gold vip club spammers, and they now have my FIRST AND LAST NAME.

I think there's someone out there selling player lists...

Perhaps that is their sideline, being a list broker for spammers. Complain to Gold VIP Club about their spam, and they have your Email address to sell on.

They seem completely outside the law, and seem to have a no holds barred approach. This means that the normal route of complaining, and even big companies sueing them, will make no difference. It will take action by the authorities to track them down, and it does make them "fair game" in MY view for the "dark side" of the hacker trade to have a go at shutting them down by any means necessary (the same "trade" they seem to be employing to operate THEIR spamming business).

The software vendor behind the base casino probably has the biggest stick of all - yank the license, but they don't seem interested in using it.

IF they can be deprived of their casino, there would be no further need for their spamming operation, and these "black hat" spammers are in it for the money, as well as the kudos (mainly the money though:D).

There may be considerable "Kudos" for being the one to shut this lot down for good, and make them really HURT - so all we need are volunteers who do not care much for money;)

The software vendor wont do anything about it because the would lose 90% of there business, and unless rtg decide to regulate who gets a licence the spamming will never stop,
the next time im web surfing and come across an unscrupslous web site that wants my email address i think ill just put support@goldvipcasino in there :p

That is only ONE way to deprive them of their casino;)

The offending outfit seems to have a presence here at Casinomeister, in the same way that the notorious Chris DiAngelo has an account at Casinomeister.

Unlike their spam, the casino will rely on a single server for it's operation. Take down that server (by fair means of foul:D), and they will not make money. The people they employ to do their dirty work are more than capable of doing this, and will no doubt do so if someone makes them a better offer to stop Gold VIP Club than they currently have for PROMOTING Gold VIP Club.

The US are doing their best to prevent transactions between them and Americans, however they are NOT allowing a legitimate provider to exist for the demand, so the rogues will remain popular as the best of a bad choice for US players.

They've got hold of my name too. Which totally floored me the first time I got it. I mean spam is spam but when you start getting addressed by your first and last name by a spammer then something is amiss.

Wish I knew who it was selling this info. I'd ring their bloody neck

Cheers
