In the lead up to Christmas it's inevitable that there's going to be many instances of Little Timmy not getting that train set because daddy chased a wildline on DOA.

I will be attempting to not gamble for the month of December and thought it would be a very good show of Christmas spirit by the casinos with active reps on this site if they took part in a proposed competition:

Any users who decide they also don't want to gamble during December are rewarded with a $50 cash on December 26th.
The only important term I can think of is that users must have deposited more than $100 during November.

I'll also send $50 (via paypal or bitcoin) to up to 3 users in this thread if the idea takes off, maybe on December 26th, or before if they need it for a present or bill, or if they do really well but don't quite make it to Dec 26th.

Any users/casino reps want to participate?

Funnily enough, I rarely gamble between now and Christmas, might have an odd £20 here and there, but already decided this year I won't, unless a particulary good bonus offer comes along :)

Like fuck could I ever stop gambling for a whole month. I'd struggle to last a single day. Even when I've had tonsilitis, food poisoning or the flu I've still managed to pick my laptop off the floor and have a cheeky punt. I think the last time I went a day without gambling was when I flew back from Vegas and got delayed on the tarmac for three hours before we took off, and then got stuck in traffic on the drive back from Gatwick. Not really a full day though with the time difference. Still, I made up for lost time in the following days, losing £5k at online blackjack in less than 30 minutes, and frittering away over a grand on whatever new slots had been launched on VS in the previous fortnight.

As for the competition idea - I can't see many online casinos wanting to incentivise players to stop gambling. They'll lose revenue and then have to pay out prizes on top, like a double-whammy. Xmas is a lucrative time for online casinos. If it wasn't, game studios wouldn't make Xmas-themed slots.

I agree with you, I also can not go without gambling............... I need it in my life. a week with no gambling is rare occurrence for me...... I can go a few days but I struggle lol

My god, thats awful.
I think we should make donations towards finding Sufferinsilences Timmy.

Or atleast thats what i thought at first, before i made some research about Timmy.
No shit Timmy is not getting that trainset, thieving bastard that he is.
Dude only has one tooth, imagine how many fights he must have been in to end up like that.
