It's just another one of those comps that favor the people who sit around all day min betting. And then when they get to the top they feel obligated to try and stay there and end up losing a tonne of money.

We should go back to last months where the entire forum had a fair chance. I quite enjoyed seeing alot of the low rolling regs join in and win some money and prizes.

Fun idea for a month once in a blue moon but hopefully these types of contests decrease alot.

I personally will only be posting in the thread when I play from my regular sessions and not deposit to try and get points.

Yeah I've voiced my opinion on this before too. I like competitions where it's an even playing field. EG the score one you could enter 1 time all month and get lucky with your score and win a prize.

Something like this you're basically commited every day. On top of that two or three weeks in I don't imagine more people would start suddenly when they're so far behind and won't stand a chance of catching up. At this point I don't see anyone who hasn't already started coming along and managing top 3 so we're basically all fighting over the last spots haha.

Still as was said in response before to me, it's a free competition. We're not entitled to anything. If it's not for you then so be it. better luck on the next one.

This one does however feel like it way more favours people who gamble every day on min bet, almost certainly using auto spins on multiple slots at once. So something that might take someone like that 1 hour of spinning would take me 4 or 5x as long which is pretty grim.

I was rather hoping people would shoot ahead and I wouldn't stand a chance at the top 10 so I could just sit it out. For now I guess I will keep throwing in entries although I'm already down way more than 100 euros

Casumo offered me 100x 20p spins on a £100 deposit which I took. Using those spins I got a bonus that paid 127x.

Problem is Push Gaming doesn't show the bet size or balance on the 'win' screen. After clicking through to that it shows the win but because it's part of free spins (which are allowed) it's totalled all my wins including the bonus into the win.

So I don't know if this will be ok? Seems farfetched to think I'm inflating a 1 pointer but don't want to have to get that somewhere else haha. I'm hoping when the 100 spins are used it will show somewhere on the site.

I do think the first question for all future comps should be "can a moderate player win this?" and if the answer is "absolutely not" the idea should be rejected. The best solution I think is have a maximum number of entries, (whatever the comp actually is) and once the comp ends everybody who got the max is on level terms. Another way, not quite as good is allow as many entries as the player likes but each gives one chance in a raffle at the end, so even 1 entry can win it. Comps where the whales who autobet all day every day are guaranteed to win will not appeal to the average user.
