No. Not all of them. In general, we give members a certain post count to prove themselves. Once this is achieved, they are allowed to post / posts are auto approved.

This particular member joined in 2018. They have never spammed as far as I can see.

I doubt they jumped on one day and decided to spam. It looks like the account credentials may have been compromised.

Yep, first three posts have to get approved by a mod.

As Nate says above, this particular forum member had in excess of 30 posts, before he started to spam. Hence the three posts in this threads were made as they were not up for approval.

• this applied to all new threads IN THE PARTICULAR FORUM you posted in at the time.
• that it applied to everyone, not just you.
• you weren’t being singled out in any way, shape or form.

If you felt slighted somehow by that experience please accept my apologies, but the same rules apply to everyone and it’s not just a whim, they’re there for a reason. Again, that applies in the specific forum you posted in at the time. Although the same applies in a few other select places on the site it is not at all common practice. In fact, I see you’ve since posted elsewhere on the site without difficulty.
