I finally won something playing NY 'Numbers'. I havent had a winner for like 2 months. I kept hitting free QP on Take5, $1 on Lotto, $3 and $2 on Mega. I was overdue, and was about to give up on 'Numbers' when as I was watching the drawing live, the 1st # was 8, 2nd 3, and 3rd wasnt coming up, but I knew I had 8,3, only win is a 6.
and bless the holy cows of Punjab, 6 did come up! As I had a 50c box, it's $40; But a win nonetheless.

A neighbor won $50,000 playing Win4 same # combo on 10 tickets.
I bought $10 of Take5, +$3 free QP, but won 1 free QP. Strange that I won $40 on SweetMillion several times, but $20 2nd prize only twice on Take5.

lucky you...my #'s came in the day & night on the same day and i missed them both...041 day 107 at night i was really mad i missed the 107 because that is my birthday oct 7th..curious where in ny u from....i am from harlem, but live in queens now

A guy infront of me asked for QP of 'Numbers', and got 777. He complained as 777 came up the day before!
I just had 773, but winner was 877 :-(
I am playing Win4 again, but only for $2, box only, no straight, as I dont want to go over $600 and pay a tax.

you can get around the tax on payouts higher than 600.00 all you have to do is ask for separate tickets..if you play 5 tickets @ 1.00 straight each you win 3.000 and pay no tax each ticket is worth 600.00

My old neighboor once played pick 4 here in canada - on a whim he played his street addy numbers at $9 a day for like 4 days and they hit - paid him $45K!

Ya'll wish me luck. Hubby was going to pick up our monthly allotment of lottery tickets (and a few scratchers for fun LOL) this morning. The last month's tickets have been rather crappy, only about $14 total won so far (one more draw on each to go).

you can get around the tax on payouts higher than 600.00 all you have to do is ask for separate tickets..if you play 5 tickets @ 1.00 straight each you win 3.000 and pay no tax each ticket is worth 600.00

Pardon, I am confused. Each Win4 ticket is seperate. You could play $10 straight, you get 10 tickets; box gets you 20 tickets @50c each. If 1 ticket hits, I win $5000. I think you mean all other games, such as Take5 not to play all lines on single ticket. Yes, good idea, then what's the point of filling out cards? Ifcourse, monthly specials you do have to buy $10 to get $2QP.
