Hi,

I recently won a nice random Jackpot and I am trying to figure out the best way to withdraw the winnings to avoid charges. I have never won this much so i'd like to avoid fees if possible. Should I go via ACH or try to get them to open a QT account ?

The casino is Club World btw.

Thanks.

If your bank won't charge you for ACH, go for it. Otherwise you're going to get stuck with a $30 fee from QT, possibly more from a middle-man, and another charge from your bank.

Normally banks don't charge for ACH, but I'd check just to make sure.

I use instadebit with clubworld i have had many withdraws with them and no fees and within few days at that. Instadebit is very easy to set up i was up and running in few min and if i can do this ill tell you anyone can lol

So Instadebit doesn't have any fees back to your bank account ?

That method would be ideal because that was my deposit method. And it will take 3 weeks to get it fully withdrawn due to the $3000/wk maximum.
That would be $90 in QT or the ACH charge from my bank if any.

Thanks for all the replies. If Instadebit is no charge either way, I think I will go that route.

last week my first withdraw from one casino was done in 24 hours instdebit responded right away and i went in and clicked back to account 2 days later was in account. Other one was a 1 day and one took 3 days.

I use Instadebit as well but they've always taken off a fee. For example, if I withdraw $150, they take off alittle over $5. One time it was $15.
And last I checked, ClubWorld doesn't offer deposits or withdrawals in Canadian funds, so the currency is converted when I deposit.

I just viewed my transactions again i was paid in cdn dollars and with no fee
so im not sure why you had been charged maybe you withdrew higher amount then i did. I know with c2p fees vary depending on amount of deposit and withdrawing

Are you also depositing in Canadian dollars?
I had asked CS a couple of times if I could change over to Canadian dollars and they said they don't offer that currency.

yes all my deposits are in cdn dollars maybe ask club world support to change over for you now i know there is a fee if i use instadebit and have to convert euros to dollars or dollars to euros then yes i think on 20 dollars was 1.25 fee
withdraw was 1.75 on 400 withdrawl

Well now...I am definately going to have to pay them another visit. It was not that long ago that I did ask them to change it over and they told me they didn't offer deposits/withdrawals in Canadian dollars.

One other reason i like this instadebit comes right out of your own bank account
a few times has taken few days to come out but i put it through on my chq account rather then savings so i can limit my use and if by chance lol i have gone over my limit that week for deposits my overdraft covers it till my savings moves it over and again no extra fees. I have tried to set up all the other ways of depositing i cant fig out how to make them work just c2p and now i cant use for a bit due to a change in my visa card but with c2p there is a fee and with their chqs to back to u is 20 to 25 day holding in bank because it arrives in euros.

I love Instadebit, its the only thing I use. It is instant, although it does take a few days to come out of the bank account, but at least the balance shows right away at the casino. :)

lauram...
I just checked with Live Support at ClubWorld and he reassured me they do not offer Canadian dollar deposits or withdrawals.
Try checking your Instadebit account online to see if that shows you where it is in American dollars.
When you deposit with Canadian dollars, it is Instadebit who converts the money to American dollars, therefore you don't do it yourself and probably haven't noticed.
For awhile there the Canadian dollar cost abit less to convert so you probably didn't notice it in your bank account. However, it costs alittle more to convert now. Next time you make a deposit, take notice when you sign into Instadebit and keep an eye on the transaction. It should show you two sets of amounts. One amount will be for the dollar amount you want to deposit, and the other will be the amount Instadebit will take out of your bank account after converting it. It will still show up as Canadian dollars in your bank account but you will be playing in American dollars.
For example: I deposited $75 Canadian, but Instadebit will take out $78.97 Canadian, because they converted your Canadian to American, but you will still only be playing with $75 Can because that is what you wanted to deposit. The extra is what it cost to convert it to American money.
Hope that makes sense :)

Very interesting..your statement reads different than mine.
On my Instadebit statement, it shows my payment going to merchant ClubWorld whereas yours is showing Multipurpose.
My bank reads it as a payment to Instadebit Services. Perhaps different banks have certain ways of showing the transaction.
Not sure if you're suppose to show the numbers and letters after Multipurpose though as it might just be an account number for you and you don't want it shown. Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong there. :)

I landed going to bed last nite couldnt read into it all anymore. Im going to go have a better look sometime today and try and match up a few things what i will do then maybe is pm you with my info and we can look at it together now i do have work later till midnight then again in am so might even be thurs am. But lets see how this plays out my deposits are mostly for club jackpotcity eurogrand ruby and spin

Instadebit

Hi,

Instadebit work for $CAN & $US ! If you deposit in $US , you will be charged in $CAN into your bank account. Many casino take this deposit option...

Instadebit never charge a fee.. if you deposit 20$CAN... 20$CAn would be withdrawn from your bank account.

However, clubworld... only offer $US + EURO + POUND STERLING... so it's normal the CS tell you they didn't take $CAN. But if you choice to get paid your winning by instadebit... you will be paid in your instadebit as a separate account where you will can withdraw after this $US to your canadian bank account with the currency of the days of instadebit.

Have a nice days,
Simon

Instadebit does charge a fee if you are withdrawing American dollars and putting it into your Canadian bank account. It even states that on their website. I have been charged anywhere from $5 to $15 for a $150US withdrawal to my CA bank account.
