Wintingo payout

Hi!

I have a concern regarding a payout from wintingo casino.
I won around 800 euros and I deposited with mastercard creditcard. (thursday 1st of august)
Waited until today to get the payout done and my documents approved.
At all other casinos I played at you cant withdraw back to mastercard and instead they pay with banktransfer.
I wrote both wintingo banking and support and asked if they can make a payout back to my mastercard, but no response.
Today I got a mail saying that they sent the money.
Anybody knows if this is doable? or will the money bounce back to them again and it will take even more days to get my money?

I never thought you could withdraw back to a MasterCard but I seem to recall reading in a thread recently that some people do it so apparently it is possible.

Yes, you can w/d back to mastercards if UK issued plus a few other countries. Check their terms.

I just opened the wintingo live chat and asked, as I was curious. I always thought refunds to Mastercards were not possible.

The agent told me sometimes it works, so they will try. If it fails the money comes back and they re send by an alternate method so yes, a little extra delay. He confirmed there is no way to know if it worked till it either goes through or bounces back, so the best advice I can give is keep the fingers crossed or expect a few more days wait.

Im pretty sure that it wont work and tomorrow it will be a week since I requested the withdrawal in the first place so waiting even more
isnt what I want.
Dont think I will deposit there again if it will take even more days to get the money, its too long time.

I must admit that I didnt read the terms very well and thought it would work like it does at the other casinos I play at.

IMO the bolded part is totally unacceptable.

It is impossible in almost every country to send winnings to MC, and they obviously get plenty of failures, so why do it at all?

A casino should NOT be offering ANY payout method that they know might not work. It could take up to 5 days before the casino is notified about the failure, and then another day or two to get advice from the player about other methods, plus the new processing time.

I really wonder what is going on at Wintingo. I've lost count of how many times they have changed software, and some of the ideas they come up with are just daft. The rep is nice, but when I see things like the above, I just cringe. I couldn't in good conscience recommend anyone play there.

MasterCard is a grey area. The big UK sites like Ladbrokes/Boyles/PP etc. do refund to Mastercards issued by UK banks. Some sites are in the 'middle' area whereby they specifically list countries whereby if the MC was issued by their banks they do refund or do not. Some sites don't get involved and point-blank refuse to consider MC w/d's.
I had this issue with a big win where I deposited with MC and after 3 days I was onto CS asking where the money was. I was only at THAT point informed that MC's are not refunded (this wasn't mentioned in their terms btw I double checked) and I would get a cheque, which did turn up 5 days later. This was similar to Wintingo in that they never bothered telling me beforehand, but at least they didn't attempt it knowing it would bounce.....

My guess is that if Wintingo have refunded to the MC, it will probably go through anyway if you are in Sweden. If it does not, as Nifty said it is wrong for Wintingo to 'experiment' with your w/d creating potential unnecessary and frustrating delays. Just trust that Wintingo payments know this will be OK, if it isn't I would expect a decent bonus chip for their error. You'll get paid.

Apologies for the late reply to this thread, i just checked your account and i see your withdrawal was successfully processed yesterday 06/08/2013 15:18:26 (GMT).

Please confirm once you have received the funds in your account, it can take up to 48 for Mastercard to process the payment and for you to see the funds in your account.

He told you just a few hours ago that it would take 2 days at least now it's processed, so why do you seem surprised it's not showing yet?

Got the money now, finally.

My question from the beginning was if its possible to withdraw to mastercard because I never been able to do that before,
and that nobody from support or banking did answer my questions about that.
I never doubted if I should get the money or not just about how long time the withdrawal will take.


Im a newbie here and english isnt my native language and I try as good as I can,
No reason at all to write that last comment, that was just rude.
