I joined Winomania, a new casino and busted out their welcome bonus.

They offered me a reload bonus today, but before depositing, I wanted to make sure the wagering from the welcome bonus had cleared because I had busted or "zeroed" out (ie my total balance was zero).

I went onto live chat and was told that I still have to wager £5513 from the welcome bonus!

I said that not voiding the wagering after busting out is irregular practice for an online casino, but they just said it's in their terms.

What do you think? I personally feel it's shoddy for an online casino to impose this kind of term, especially considering they are UKGC approved.

Didn't Intercasino do something like this years ago before they came to their senses?

Rogue as fuck term, sticky bonuses across more then the qualifying deposit are a BREACH of UKGC terms unless a cash-back one like say Midaur and Sun Vegas use which at no time ties your real money in. How on earth can you have any wagering left when the balance is zeroed, UNLESS it's paid when WR complete as cash i.e. it's guaranteed to be paid across more than one deposit once WR is complete like the 2 casinos I mentioned?

I've checked up on this lot, yes they do have a UKGC license and company based in the British Virgin Islands, which is our equivalent of Curacao except they wear suits.

Sofia, Bulgaria UKGC given address? Principal address: 30-32 General Totleben Blvd (floor 5) Sofia 1606

OK, the terms appear to be compliant, i.e. you can cash-out any time with cash funds played first. So I think it may be a case of a bonus that is always eventually redeemed as described above, once you've made enough deposits and play to do so, as above. If so, no problem, quite decent in fact.

Now I note there are no branded slots here aside from their own ropey-looking proprietary ones. I wouldn't touch them.

Names are as follows, a Malta registered company: Branimir Baruh Magriso director
Michael Parlato Trigona director Michael Zammit secretary. I cannot see any UK address which is unusual for a company with a UKGC license.

May be a decent outfit, maybe not. Time will tell....

From what you are saying, surely even in the "best case" scenario, it would mean that for the reload bonus, to cash out any winnings from that bonus, I would have to complete the reload bonus wagering ON TOP of the inherited welcome bonus wagering? That still sounds pretty awful. It would also mean that accepting future bonuses could potentially accrue a huge backlog of wagering.

Depends as I said. Some casinos guarantee you'll cash the initial GOOD sticky bonus in as I mentioned, whether you do it on first deposit or it takes you 5 deposits to complete it over. Then when it's cashed, presumably you'll be eligible for the reload one. If it's a 'one hit' bonus like most, it should vanish once you bust. If you read the terms it states only one bonus in play at a time, so you cannot get a backlog until the initial (hopefully guaranteed conversion) has wagered.

I don't quite understand. The initial (welcome) bonus was credited upfront, so it is not like a post-wager bonus. When I busted out, I had busted both the deposit amount as well as the bonus amount, so the bonus amount would not appear as cashable money even if I were to now hypothetically complete the wagering for it.

I'm glad someone has brought this site up, I came across it one day and gave it a go, without deposit bonuses mind you, made a couple of £50 deposits to try the games. I'm always curious to try out something new. Games were awful, bonus rounds paying £3 etc, even on a £1 stake. I quickly excluded my account as I will never touch it again. Bizarrely, they never took the money from my bank account, this was nearly 3 months ago. Kept a close eye on my account for a while, even spoke to the bank who couldn't find any deposits. A lucky win there!
