Finally I made it to the top of the tower in Steam Tower. Happy Days
See below my screenies from yesterdays play at Bet at Home. The Dead or Alive win was from a regular bonus which only had 4 wilds on it so it's a good result. The Creature from the Black Lagoon win was from the first two spins of the bonus round so who needs to kill the turd? Finally I made it to the top of the tower in Steam Tower. Happy Days

Next time when you play Steamtower for that betsize, don't forget to increase the bet level (better would have been coinsize 0.2 and bet level 2, for 0.60 cent total bet, but you would have gotten double the top level bonus!

I know I should have but usually Steamtower mows me down at higher bet sizes. Was happy to finally reach the top though![]()

Maybe I'm getting old but this doesn't make any sense to me at all
I'm sure it is 1000 coins per stake/coin size
So 0.15p (0.01 coin value, min bet = £10.00)
0.75p (1 coin, value 0.05) = 1000 x 0.5 = £50
0.15p x 5 = 0. 0.75p (5 times the minimum bet)
£10.00 x 5 = £ £50.00 (5 times the minimum award for getting to the top!)
Gone out on a limb on this one but 99.99% sure I'm right!

Wait - really?
I never pay attention to the bet levels I just look for the amount I want to spin.. How does that work?
Are you drunk?![]()

im lost here. Whether you play coinsize 0.2 at bet lever 2 or coinsize 0.1 at bet level 4 both 0.6 bets you will get the exact same win for reaching the top of the tower. A £0.6 win will pay same no matter what way you make it it still pays £40 for reaching top of tower.

I was drunk yesterday, but that didn't influence my post

Ok, it often may seem odd, and on the absolute minimum bet it makes no difference, however, when you raise bet by coins per line, the only thing that will happen is the amount won with line wins will increase per stake, and the top level bonus does likewise, but, as stated in the paytable, you''ll receive 10000 coins per bet level..
Which means that if you play it on more then the minimum bet, it would make more sense to increase the bet level before the coins per line, so like 2 coins per line and bet level 2, as i stated in my post @ osulle, it would be 15 cent less then her 75ct bet, but her top award for reaching the top. would have been doubled..
It's the only game i know of right now that has this oddity implemented, i could be totally wrong but i don't think i am![]()

I think it's obviously +EV if you use the slot like i described..
if she had played for 60 cent, the way i described she would lost 15 cents per spin less, and she would have gotten 20000 coins x 0.02 cent, now she got 10000 x 0.05 cent, you think that's the same?I think it's obviously +EV if you use the slot like i described..
But, like i said, i can be in the illusion im gaining anything, if so, then that's Netent 's fault for their explanation in the paytable![]()
Just a little correction - it is 1,000 coins to reach the top level, not 10,000

As brianmon post
Of course there is no any difference
I think i need to make screenshot of this your fail incridible, and after 10 years pass you will think that you are complete expert i will show you this screenie with your post![]()

I think (perhaps I am wrong here) that incrediblestuff was under the impression that the bonus was 1000 times the bet level ONLY.
Like it or not, the wording on the paytable does leave it open to interpretation a little bit. There is no mention of coin values or bet SIZES, only bet levels.
But before incrediblestuff thinks that I am trying to throw him under the bus, I have to confess, that is how I interpreted it too.
So when I have played this game at greater than minimum bet, I always chose to increase the bet level, not the coin size.
But this isn't something I do exclusively for Steam Tower, as I play ALL my Netent games on a 1p coin.
And it's only for one reason, when I get a "big" win, I prefer to see a bigger coins won total.
However, it would seem that incrediblestuff and I have incorrectly taken the wording on the paytable (quite literally) as bet level ONLY.
Thanks to Jon and Paul and others for helping to clarify that it is the TOTAL bet SIZE that is key to determining the bonus amount won,
not the bet LEVEL.
Peace out.![]()
As i don't play this slot too often iv'e no idea if this is good without being a hit during free spins.
